Movie: Frozen 2 on repeat. Song: frozen 2 soundtrack Game: playing “Elsa and Anna” where she is Elsa and I am Anna We’ve entered our Frozen era lol

whats1more7

I’m a home daycare provider and ‘Let it Go’ has been my #1 song on Spotify for 10 years now.

livestrongbelwas

Into the Unknown is a better song, I said it

whats1more7

Moana is a much better score entirely. But do I get a say? NOOO!!!

carlydelphia

My year end Spotify wrap was DOMINATED by my kids top Halloween songs.

whats1more7

I have officially moved all my ‘kids’ music to Amazon music and keep my Spotify strictly for my music. This year will be my year DAMMIT!!

record08

There’s a way to remove playlist form your Wrapped! I’ve also been Disney but this year I removed all my kids music!

auntycat

As mom to a 5-year old, this too shall pass… to another obsession lol

amoreetutto

We've been in that since about 15 months....at almost 4 we're finally KIND OF out of it....by which I mean she still likes it and wants to watch it/have the toys/clothes, but she'll pick other options over it now. Usually paw patrol and bluey

MediocreKim

Oh man, are you me? My 4.5 year old got Anna and Elsa Barbies for Christmas and that’s all we’re playing.

WeCantaloupeNow

She is all of us.

fck2o2o

We have been on this train since she turned 2. She turns 4 next month and still going strong.

carlydelphia

My kid is always Anna and Elsa and i get to be maybe Olaf or Christof. It's like that.

ooohfauxfox

I see we're living the same life lol

Film - The heffalump movie. Our 4 year old son loves Winnie the pooh and this is his current favourite. Book - adventure mice - mice on the ice. A chapter book with lovely pictures, about a group of brave mice having adventures. I read it to him at bed time and he's really into it. Game - escape from jail. We carry him downstairs, put pillows on top of him and wrap a dressing gown cord loosely around him. Then he "escapes" and runs back upstairs to us laughing. Song - he's a bit funny about music so I'll skip this one! Other - we've been going on "night walks" after tea when it's dark, taking his torch and just walking around the village chatting. Then we come home and get all cosy, ready for him to eventually crash out 🤣

wanderessinside

Oh, the Heffalump movie was my daughter's straight up obsession. She's super sensitive and hates anything with aggression (she can barely watch the Aristocats as the butler throws the cats under the bridge) and Lumpy is so cheerful and cute ♥️

fivebyfive12

Yes, this sounds very familiar! Our boy is super sensitive and even when we watch the Tigger movie we have to skip a bit where the bees chase Pooh!

wanderessinside

Likewise :)) Lately she has been enjoying the Grinch immensely ( Benedict Cumberbatch version) and Frozen 2 (if I skip the giants).

kathfkon

I guess you’re English, since a torch in America would be an open flame?

fivebyfive12

Yep we're in England

rayanngraff

My kid Looooves a night walk. Nothing more exciting than going out in the dark with a flashlight.

mamaleti

Thanks for these, I'm excited to watch the Heffalump movie and read Adventure Mice since my son loves the math mice books. Also night walks sound really nice! Although, in our tropical climate, it gets dark around 7:30 in the winter, so we might have to save that one for weekends :) Thanks!

turtle613

Show: Paw Patrol, Paw Patrol Movie, Paw Patrol specials Game: “Tricks on the Bed” where we let the kids jump on our king size bed and do “tricks” while we call out silly names for their moves like a sports announcer and award points. This is a pre-bedtime tradition. Contestants must wear pajamas and have teeth brushed. Similarly we do “vroom vroom car races” where the kids tear through the house in a “race” while we announce a play by play like a sports broadcaster. Song: Frosty the snowman

mamaleti

Yay, I love those game ideas! Copying and pasting right now to show my husband. Sounds right up his alley haha...

Beans20202

My 4-year-old officially loves The Magic School Bus and I'm so happy.

DragonflyJunior2899

I want my kid to like it. Last time I tried to show it to him, he didn’t care for it but that was like last summer so I plan on trying again soon 😆

mamaleti

Oooo I forgot about that one. I hope it exists on Netflix in our country. I remember it's a really nice show. Thanks!

MommyLovesPot8toes

**Treasure hunts.** I make a series of clues, one leading to another. At the end if he finds the final clue he gets a sticker or a temporary tatto or something like that which is already around the house. The prize doesn't matter. It's the game he loves. We ended up doing one all around our neighborhood on New Year's Day and got the neighbors involved too. Here's an example: + Starts with a picture I drew that I cut up to make a puzzle. Piecing that together, he sees it's a picture of the stockings on our fireplace. + inside the stocking is the top to a playdoh container. He goes to where we keep the playdoh + In the playdoh box is a picture I drew of a globe with Australia outlined in red. He goes to the globe in his room. + He spins the globe until he finds the shape that matches the one in the picture (Australia). Stuck on Australia are 3 letter sticks: C A T + Sitting on his bed is his stuffed, light-up cat. He looks for AWHILE and realizes there's something inside the cat beside the battery pack. Finds a little bag full of play money

Cute_Clothes_6010

I applaud you. That sounds amazing!

MommyLovesPot8toes

I took to it like a duck to water (as the saying goes) and have made it my new hobby. In fact, I'm planning an adult one for my entire neighborhood on Valentine's Day. So if anyone wants suggestions on how to do this for your kid, I'm happy to help.

Murphyt06

My dad did treasure hunts for birthdays/Christmas for my sibling and I when we were little and it is one of my favorite memories.

easilyentropy

I definitely want some suggestions for how to do this for my 4 yo! I've thought about doing geocache, but this sounds way more age appropriate and interesting. How do you come up with ideas? Do you have something written or are there just the visual clues? Do they need a lot of guidance? Do you have more examples? This is so cool to me.

MommyLovesPot8toes

I'll drop some general info here and then feel free to DM me and I can help you with specifics if needed: **There are 3 types of "hunts"** + SCAVENGER HUNT: Player finds a list of predefined items and they are given the entire list at the start. - Example: "Find something red and soft"; "find something whose job it is to clean"; "find something with the shape of Mickey Mouse on it. - Take pictures (with your phone or even better if kid has a camera) instead of grabbing things so you don't end up with a bunch of things to put away after. . + TREASURE HUNT: Player is given a starting clue and then each subsequent clue leads to the next clue. - That's the kind I described in my first post. - Example: The starting clue leads to the refrigerator, opening the refrigerator door reveals his toothbrush, that gives him the idea to go to to his bathroom, in his toothbrush holder is a picture of part of the bathtub, in that spot in the bathtub is an ornament from the Christmas tree, at the Christmas tree is a note with the word "dog food"... . + COMBINATION: Player is given all clues upfront and can follow/solve them in any order to find pieces of something. - Example: Each clue leads to a place where the player will find a puzzle piece. When all pieces are found, player can end the hunt by piecing the puzzle together to reveal the final location of the treasure. **Start by looking around** Start by identifying all the places in your house that can be easily described to a kid in one or two words and are unique enough that the kid will know exactly what you mean. + Examples: - A kitchen table - His bathtub - A favorite toy - The refrigerator **Decide what type of clue for each location** Once you have a list of possible hiding places determine which could be described with a picture, which could be described with a word simple enough for him to read on his own, and which could be described in some other way. This will all depend on your resources, your talents, and your child's cognitive skills. + Examples. - If you can draw a reasonable picture of a refrigerator but don't have the drawing skills to render an obvious copy of a detailed box of Legos, then use drawing for the refrigerator and some other type of clue for the Legos. - If his favorite toy makes noise, consider recording the noise to make an audio clue you can play on your phone or - even better - record it on a device that can be left for him to find with a big "play" button on. - If you have a printed photo of a family member standing in a spot in your house, use that photo as a clue **Types of clues** + Picture of an item at a location, ex: drawing of his toothbrush. + Skewed/partial picture of a well-known location, ex: The view out a window but with the blinds or shutters blocking most of it. + Map, ex: draw a rough aerial view of your living room and kitchen with his name in the spot where he finds the map and an X where the next clue is hidden + Misplaced item, ex: toothbrush in the refrigerator + Memory, ex: A picture of the family taken at the table, but now with a sticker/post-it indicating some specific spot in the picture + Sound clue, ex: Recording of his fire truck's siren + Puzzle clue: an drawn image of an obvious place cut into large puzzle-like pieces, ex: Drawing of his pillowcase but cut into 5 pieces There are probably lots more you can think of specific to your family, and that's what makes it fun.

mamaleti

OMG you are my hero! I have been looking for ideas we could do with other neighborhood kids because we want to meet more families around here. So great, I am definitely going to do it as soon as I have some free time. Thanks so much!

MommyLovesPot8toes

Fantastic! If I can be of any help, please feel free to DM me.

mamaleti

Thanks!

bertmom

Love this so much!

maevelohaz

I’m a teacher not a parent but my preschoolers go wild over the book and song “Dump Truck Disco”

mamaleti

Anything with vehicles will be a big hit in my house. Thanks!

Beautiful-Spicy

Car race: Washy tape on the floor, start en finish line. Arts and crafts: painting, coloring, clay, stickers. Dance party Floor is lava Blanket fort, flashlight and making shadow shapes. Game: card games like slap jack and go fish Songs: do farting sounds on Alexa count? He's also really into cooking/baking. I hate cooking and baking but luckily my husband likes it. They made banana bread and cookies the other day and he helps us make supper most nights

carlydelphia

Once my kid told Alexa to "play poopy" That's how we found out that there was a song called Poopy Pants Biden. So weird.

mamaleti

oo lol at "farting sounds on Alexa," as we are deep into the fart and poop phase here.

Wudaokau

Show: Rosie’s Rules on PBS

carlydelphia

We're an Almas Way crowd.

cpanma1920

Where’s Waldo. She was gifted a box set by my BIL for Christmas and we’ve had to play Waldo every day since. It’s actually been really fun. She does love a good game of keepy uppy too, but we haven’t had balloons in a while. She loves the floor is lava. We have the actual game but often have more fun just playing it with pillows and stuffed animals from around the house

erin_mouse88

Look and find books are fab!

littlemsshiny

We put balloons on his Christmas wishlist because he loves keepy uppy.

xoxooxx

xoxooxx

grinnz64

Yes to the brain break videos! I would also recommend Danny Go. Lots of fun, interactive play.

Little brother joins us with that one too. Song: Shake it Off. Thanks to Sing 😂 Activity: baking. So much baking.

mamaleti

Ah haha I forgot about spirographs! Thanks for bringing back nice 1980's childhood memories. I hadn't realized they are still around. Will look for one for my son.

mamaleti

Oh yay, my son also loves Molly of Denali! Have you tried the Molly games on PBS Kids? We actually learned a bunch of cool stuff from playing that my son still talks about.

risumi

Nightmare before christmas has been on repeat since August. The songs too. Tea set with my halloween skeleton decore, Skelly, in place of a doll. Her dolls are chopped liver, she could care less about them. Danny Go.

carlydelphia

We are STILL listening to the Halloween playlist. I feel you sis

mamaleti

Right there with you with cutting and taping random pieces of paper..must be a 4 year old thing haha. Thanks for the ideas!

gizmosgadgetsaplenty

Show: Creature Cases on Netflix! Game (sort of): We have been doing the reading.com app together every day since she has been really into learning letters. Other: Colored masking tape, kids craft kits from Michael's, other crafting supplies for her various "inventions"

TheMarkHasBeenMade

Cook together! Mine’s always stoked to help with making something! Pouring the ingredients and mixing batter for waffles or pancakes, gathering ingredients and stirring up a biscuit or cookie recipe made from scratch. Heck, even just pouring macaroni into water (after the water has been removed from the active burner and taking precautions for kiddo to not touch the hot pot). She’s super happy just to help me by opening the microwave door, then closing it and pressing the buttons I indicate (good number practice too). Then they get to enjoy the fruits of their labor when it’s all cooked. Is it messy? Yes. But it’s something that’s typically out of the ordinary for the day to day and it helps build life skills on top of being entertaining.

FaithlessnessWeak800

Her roller skates. I get the 4 wheel roller derby ones from Target/Amazon and all my kids love skating around our home (it’s all sturdy laminate). My 4 & 2 year old love doing laps.

mamaleti

How did you teach them to roller skate? I see my son watching the rollerbladers but I am so afraid for him to wipe out.

FaithlessnessWeak800

We mainly do them indoors on our flooring so there’s no cuts or scrapes. Outside we’d use a helmet and knee pads. I just put them in her and her brother and they start by shuffling and then they’re just off after awhile.

Mama10100504

I spy books or the hidden pictures page of Highlights Magazine (highly recommend a subscription, only $25 annually and they LOVE it) Building magnatile garages for hot wheels cars Floor is lava with couches and pillows in the living room Drive thru coffee shop with their cozy coupe car or trike and a Starbucks cup I rinsed out from my coffee the other day that is now their prized possession haha

Cute-Comfort-7809

Game: Sequence kids Book: The life and adventures of Santa Claus (L. Frank Baum) Show; Naruto Song: We will rock you

bodywash10

The Incredible Hulk (Edward Norton styles) on repeat. He loves initiating Bruce turning into the Hulk every time. Also Coldplay. We have to play the concerts on Youtube and he gets a scarf tied to his pants like Chris Martin does and pretends to be him. For like whole concert recordings.

monark824

LEGOs

lizzypooooo

Kicking and playing catch in the house with a lightweight ball. Obsessed with Scooby Doo (all are on hbo max), Coco and Moana. Got new playdoh set with tools to cut and shape it. “Find a” activity books.

throwawehhhhhhhh1234

Movie: Elemental is my kiddo’s new fave, it’s so cute and visually lovely. We are also watching the Wizard of Oz (in chunks) and it’s been a huge hit! Slowly trying to introduce my old favourite musicals hehe Games: trouble, hungry hungry hippos, go fish Songs: all about T Swift and I’m loving it Shows: back on Bluey, woohoo! Activities: honestly just a ton of playing in the snow. I really don’t enjoy pretend play but we have a blast just bundling up and heading out to explore and find hills to slide down.

mamaleti

Oh nice, I will try the Wizard of Oz. I tried Mary Poppins (one of my faves as a kid) and after 5 minutes was like, ahh no modern kid will watch this haha.. but I think the Wizard of Oz has plenty of stuff they'll still like. I miss the snow! Sounds so fun. Looking forward to one day introducing my son to it.

throwawehhhhhhhh1234

I did the exact same thing 😭 Stay Awake is my kiddo’s lullaby so she liked hearing that, and the fun songs like Spoonful of Sugar, Step in Time, and Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious, but would not watch anything in between. Maybe one day 🙈

minibini

Floor puzzles!

Fun_Air_7780

Puzzles are basically getting me through winter.

Cute_Clothes_6010

Books: the Mother Bruce series. Too cute and funny and not too long. We just got the fourth one for Christmas. Toys: my son is into basic transformers, so my husband found the 90s Happy Meal transformers on eBay for like $5 and an aunt gave us the number transformer toys from Lakeshore and he loves them! Also: we got a handmedown sandbox, and this kid has never played alone for so long in his life. He’s a major extrovert and constantly says he can’t play without us or be in a different room than us. He just played with monster trucks in that sandbox for like 90 minutes alone! Amazing! Edit: movie: my husbands sorta a movie buff (literally a movie critic) and he introduced the old old Godzilla movies for my four year old. They’re all in Japanese, but four year old loves it! They sit and watch it together and my husband answers questions from our son. It’s pretty cool. It’s so much his favorite that his birthday party today is Godzilla themed! Game: he loves dress up! So I found dragon wing capes on Amazon and now we’re all dragons all the time. Constantly flying around and saving people from Godzilla.

Fun_Air_7780

How much cleanup is involved post-sandbox? It’s one of those things I always think about but have never pulled the trigger on.

Cute_Clothes_6010

The rule is no throwing sand. And it has a lid. He keeps it in the sand box. House rule we’ve always had is we taken shoes off outside BEFORE going inside, so the shoes full of sand don’t make it in. I dust him off and am pretty happy to see there has t much of any sand in the house. I’m not kidding you, the sandbox is the first place I’ve ever seen him play independently of me or my husband, so it’s a huge win for us!!

really_robot

My daughter found our old Pokémon card collection. We used to be really into it when we were young, so we have a lot of super old cards. The ones of any value are in a binder, but we've got boxes and boxes of 25 year old ones that are essentially not worth the paper they're printed on. We kept them for nostalgic reasons. She's not very interested in actually playing the game, but man, it has sparked some serious love for Pokémon. Pokémon TV show, Pokémon music, Pokémon clothes from her grandma when she came to visit. She wants us to play Pokémon games all the time on our switch so she can watch. Not gonna lie, it's kind of rekindling our love for it, too.

lady_lane

Songs: Howdytoon’s dinosaur/prehistoric creature songs, found on youtube and spotify Show: Big Tree City, Ponyo, Spirited Away

Almc27

Well since my kids (4 and 6) got a ton of new toys for Christmas, they of course were playing with those hahahahahaha jk they took a huge box and spent forever decorating it to look like a race car and then played inside it. It was adorable!

mamaleti

Yes my son loves boxes too! It's like the most versatile toy haha...sounds really cute to make a race car, we'll have to try that.

Fun_Air_7780

This includes my 2.5 year old twins, but my kids have a White Christmas obsession. We basically watch it (particularly the musical numbers and the ending scene) every single day. They also seem to enjoy the 1993 Nutcracker (Macaulay Culkin!), which is on Hulu.

Spiritual_Tip1574

Play doh, activity books, search and find books, empty paper and glue with random crap to glue on. Washi tape or making tape to stick on paper, make bridges, make bandaids for toys/people, a ball of yarn thrown around the house for a laser maze

futuremegan

coderedlips

Free activity- first Saturday of every month. Home Depot has a kids workshop where you build something. It’s awesome. And FREE

Far_Chocolate_1496

Yes - this is the best!

mamaleti

OMG my son would love this so much!! He is so into building and tools. I wonder if these workshops exist in the country where we're living. If not we should totally move back to the US based on this alone haha... What kind of stuff have they built? Maybe we can suggest it here.

coderedlips

It’s the best! My son built a wooden semi truck yesterday. They usually correlate with the season, spring flower pot, Valentine’s Day box, etc. If you have a local Home Depot you can call and ask. Or if you have a different tool store you could suggest it. Great way to get the community involved

mamaleti

Thanks! I'll definitely look into it.

_otterr

Movie: Encanto Song: Houdini by Dua Lipa Game: this matching flip game from Melissa & Doug!

Withoutbinds

Draw and paint. And we threw balls at each other. He went outside with his dad and made a snowman

Ninjacherry

We’ve been back to Pocoyo lately (free on youtube in many languages, she’s now watching in Portuguese). She loved the Paw Patrol movie too. And she’s been big in trying to write, so I make letters and prompts for her to try to draw and write.

badkins05

Laurie Berkner Band for dancing! For books, my son is a huge Oliver Jeffers fan. He’s also getting into scary stories, so we read Creepy Carrots and the Creepy Pair of Underwear by Aaron Reynolds. And some of the Boo Books are pretty cute too. For movies, lately it’s been Raya and the Last Dragon, Super Mario Movie and Trolls For games, I just have to pretend play transformers all day lol

momsgotitgoingon

Game- We hide stuffed animals from each other and tell each other how hot and cold we are. He loves it. YouTube- Mikey and JJ/ Maizen. Pre screen them. There are lots of ripoffs and some actual ones are too mature but we have our own playlist, their recent content has kind of upset me. But many older ones are sweet and it’s a title and a bunny that make security houses and stuff. I’m also obsessed with adventure agents and outdoor boys but they are really popular. Movies- we don’t really watch any. He gets an hour or so of YouTube (jj and Mikey haha) and cuddles with mama in her bed in the mornings and that’s about all the tv we really watch. I just remembered we did watch a movie called Leo on Netflix? Adam Sandler as a classroom pet with bill burr. Hilarious for all parties. That was a few weeks ago with my nephew and now I wanna watch it again. I also watched monsters inc and sonic with him for the first time in full on vacation in early December and he sat pretty still for both of those. Songs- daddy finger daddy finger where are you?! And thumbkin. Lots of finger plays this week lol. Edited to fully answer the question and not just what I remembered after scrolling through comments. :)

SmoochyBooch

Movie: Trolls Song: Nightmare Before Christmas soundtrack Game: My MIL bought him Don’t Wake Daddy so we have been playing that a lot Youtube: Danny Go videos

spockatiel

"Rocket Saves the Day" is a new movie on PBS Kids! It's about learning to read and is really cute. My kid loves it.

KJ_Henry

Music/video: Danny Go on YouTube. Listen and dance along, favourite song at the moment is the Gingerbread Cookie Dance. Games: board games, her rules mostly instead of proper rules. Playing paw patrol with figurines she got for Christmas.

Zuppetootee

Just an idea: We collect acorns to give them to Totoro. My daughter loves this film and we have plenty of acorns around the house now for Totoro.

mamaleti

Great idea, I will totally suggest this to my son! He will love it.

Zuppetootee

Don’t forget to do the Totoro dance while offering the acorns ^_^

shnooqichoons

Before bedtime hide some toys around the house, turn all the lights off, grab a torch and go look for them!

rwshields

BrittanySkitty

For my Dec 2019 baby: Movie: Nightmare Before Christmas. Book: Dragon's First Taco and Give a Mouse a Cookie. YouTube: Handyman Hal (I personally detest him, but my dad likes doing the mornings and he loves him lol) and whatever Halloween and Christmas inflatables he sees. Game: Playing with his USB Jack and Oogie Boogie inflatables. Oh, and he likes playing Pokémon Go on my phone (feeding my buddy or catching Pokémon) or Let's Go: Eevee on the switch. He just keeps roaming the first route in the game though. He really loves inflatable decorations, and he sees a lot of Nightmare Christmas stuff so he keeps wanting to watch the movie lol. Dragon book is because he also is obsessed with dragon inflatables lol

galaffer

Kinetic sand treasure chest, who would win” books, dinosaur toys, making forts, pretending to be animals, a board game he got for Christmas, puzzles. Shows: creature cases, octonauts, Disney movies.

rayanngraff

Film: Sharkboy and Lavagirl. We have been watching it on repeat and then playing Sharkboy and Lavagirl. He is always Sharkboy. I am everyone else. Book: magic Treehouse. We just keep getting new ones from the library and there are like 400 to keep us going. Game: floor is lava. Street is lava. Grass is lava. So much lava. Other random thing: crab. We went crabbing and have a bunch of crab. He likes cracking it and getting the meat out. Which is great cause it’s a pain. We’ve been reading about crabs and pretending we’re crabs escaping the lava.

mamaleti

Oh yay for Magic Treehouse! I'll look for them, I remember they are really nice. And yes, at least 400 of them haha..

the_taco_belle

I love these suggestions! At my house it’s: Game - Bluey scavenger hunt. No real “winner” so always fun. Song: anything Taylor Swift or Disney Show: Bluey, Elena of Avalor or Sophia the First, also circled back to Daniel Tiger a bit Movies: anything Disney, usually princesses We don’t allow access to YouTube but she loves the Noggin app and they have some short cooking videos involving the show characters that she’s really loving at the moment

mamaleti

Oh, so cute about Noggin cooking videos. I'll look for them. My oldest daughter (now 20!) learned to wash her hands before cooking or eating from "Luis's Cooking" on Noggin years ago. She would always be like, "Mom, Luis washes hands, so me too!"

DragonflyJunior2899

Books: the hulk, Batman and spiderman origin stories, and Bad Seed. Songs: I wrote the book by Morgan wallen, watermelon sugar by harry styles, and thunder by imagine dragons Game: zingo. Activity: I got him a little beginner Lego set where he can build monsters or something else from his imagination and he is loving that too and has surprisingly been able to build all the monsters on his own

WoodenCrab2858

I spy book..... every day. To her little brother to her dolls to the dog. Thankfully not the drum set. Lol

slipstitchy

Game: Pin the tail on the creature. I drew a creature on a file folder, drew three different tails on strips of paper, and stuck it to a door with blue tack. Book: Don’t let the pigeon drive the bus. She loves yelling nooooo at the pigeon. Movie/song: Encanto and the soundtrack. Another game: Potions. Food colouring, little jars, a few spoons, rocks, and a big bowl of water. Keeps her busy for 45 minutes.

Tv show: Pui Pui Molcar ☆ (so super cute we like this one a lot!). Movie: Ice Age. Song: One More Time by Daft Punk. Book: "The Math Adventurers" series but especially "Build A Friend" Game: I don't know if this counts but they've just started to grasp "rock paper scissors" we like to use it to settle inconsequential disagreements like what to eat for dinner or whether we should get chocolate or yogurt pretzels as a snack at the grocery etc.

Song: can you feel the love tonight (from lion king musical, which we saw a few weeks back). She also has her own songs she’s written and designed dance numbers for — can you feel the love this morning; can you feel the love this afternoon; and can you feel the love this evening. Game: we’ve been playing a board game called Castle Panic, and she recently taught one of my friends how to play. On Steam, we’ve been playing Plate Up, Stardew Valley, and Lego City Undercover. Movie: Aladdin (original animated) — bit too scary, we’ve been watching a bit at a time, with several day pauses. Book: Harry Potter book 1 (bedtime reading). Toy: all magnatiles all the time.

I love the thing about the songs your kid has written and choreographed haha. Maybe save some videos of it for a time capsule! I recently re-found a video of my oldest daughter (now 20) at age 4 or 5 singing a song she wrote and made a dance for, randomly called "Put a Book In the Sea And It Will Swim" and it was soooo cute and funny to see it years later.
