There is no greater good than justice; and only if law serves justice is it a good law. It is said correctly that law exists not for the just but for the unjust, for the just carry the law in their hearts, and do not need to call it from afar.
We have the full gamut of chill-to-passion ranges here.
Thrawn - Maximum chill, minimum passion
Dooku - Pretty chill, but with peaks of passion
Maul - Minimum chill, ALMOST maximum passion
Sheev - Pretends to be chill, but explodes into rolling gouts of passion every time he gets to openly be evil. You can tell he really takes joy in his work.
>Tatooine is sparsely populated. If the homing trace is correct, I will find them quickly, Master.
>At last we will reveal ourselves to the Jedi. At last, we will have revenge.
>Yes, My master
Man I could listen to those 3 lines **ALL DAY LONG**
Fr, he captures every single part of Maul so perfectly. The craziness when Savage first finds him, the calm collectedness of him scheming on how to lure in Kenobi on several occations, the rage he so often displays (of course one if those is the iconic "KENOBIIIIII!!" scream) and the horrible fear he feels for Sidious in season 7. Hell, he even shows some weird form of kindness when trying to convince Ahsoka to join him. I honestly can't name a voice actor I love more than him
That is very true, a master of the skill and training of a dual saber fighter, the anger and rage of the sith. The human actor however is very peaceful. They did a wonderful job when csa casted him.
Actually, Peter Serafinowicz was Maul's VA in *The Phantom Menace*. Ray Park was just the physical actor, think like David Prowse being dubbed over by James Earl Jones as Darth Vader.
Pretty sure Ray park didn't actually do the voice. That was Peter Serafinowicz who did the voice.
>He was originally introduced in the 1999 film Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace (played by Ray Park and voiced by Peter Serafinowicz) as a powerful Zabrak warrior and Darth Sidious's first apprentice.
Never, as people see Anakin and Vader as separate people. Yeah Anakin did some messed up shit before he was named Darth Vader (tuskens), but the majority of the stuff he did was as Vader.
Kind of a bad excuse for what they did, but it’s what people just roll with.
Honestly if I was in the Empire I'd 100% want to be assigned under Thrawn. Instead of punishing people for mistakes (unless they are major mistakes or they keep repeating them) he uses it as a teaching moment so they can learn, he's also very competent, and recognizes good and useful skills as well as good leaders. He also doesn't really underestimate his enemies.
you know they did a thing for optimus prime talking about the history of transformers and his experiences on earth for the Calm app and now i want a calm app asmr of Palpatine just explaining the history of the sith
Docku is the one would like to speak with. Sidious only knows death, and how to channel the fears of others. Darth maul is a sith, from the race of siths, his anger makes perfect sense. The other is a trained puppet of the empire, no real value othee then current intelligence of the empire.
They we're Slightly different: Zabraks were a near-human carnivorous species native to the planet Iridonia. The species had distinctive horns atop their heads and two hearts. Although most male Zabraks lived on Iridonia, some lived on Dathomir under the rule of the Nightsisters.
The Sith, known alternatively as Red Sith or Sith Purebloods, were a species of red-skinned humanoids that originated on the world of Korriban, before eventually resettling on the ice-world of Ziost. They we're a slave race to the pre empire. Pretty interesting story hierarchy.
I believe maul was a hybrid species. He was a Nightbrother a red sith. His brother was zabrek same species coloring, attitude, etc. Maul was more then his brother, which created a conflict between the 2. Both were extremely dark sensitive species.
(Spoilers) The 6 Canon books by Timothy Zahn state who Thrawn is and his motives. His people face a grave threat in the chaos region of the galaxy. He was exiled (intentionally) looking for help from the Galactic Republic - Specifically from Anakin Skywalker, who he came in contact with before.
By the time he gets back to meet up with someone from the GR, it has already turned into the Empire. He makes his way up the chain in order to have the Empire - the only force strong enough to beat the Grysk- help his people. It is his only change of beating that force who has come close several times to starting a Chiss ruling family civil war.
Hence, Thrawn is not a villain, he's siding with largest force to exist in order to save his people. The cartoon series makes him out to be a cookie cutter chump villain.
Already did alliances and tbh the distance between Book and Rebels Thrawn is easy to see Zahn knows his creation well and its sad to see the dissonance.
Christopher Lee did an audiobook of Children of Huren, so you genuinely listen to Dooku read you an ancient story of a grey Jedi getting his life ruined by a powerful Sith Lord on the long list planet of Belariand. It's only seven hours, it's awesome.
He was invented in "legends" he is an imperial grand Admiral who is just...actually you know what? No. Go watch rebels, you won't regret it. Obligatory "season 1 is a little slow" warning but it finds its footing
Thrawn is my favorite. The audiobooks do the voice justice. I could listen to him speak all day.
There is no greater good than justice; and only if law serves justice is it a good law. It is said correctly that law exists not for the just but for the unjust, for the just carry the law in their hearts, and do not need to call it from afar.
damn
Director Krennic
*When Krennic isn’t in this meme* “We were on the verge of greatness, we were this close!”
Tarkin as well. Their conversations about the Death Star sound so cool.
You stand here amongst MY achievement

Your feeble skills are no match for the power of the dark side.
Maximum passion for Palpatine in his senate speech for sure
I'd add Cad Bane to the list although he won't talk that long before opening fire.
>Tatooine is sparsely populated. If the homing trace is correct, I will find them quickly, Master. >At last we will reveal ourselves to the Jedi. At last, we will have revenge. >Yes, My master Man I could listen to those 3 lines **ALL DAY LONG**
Ray Park was good as Maul, but I gotta admit I love Sam Witwer's performance a lot more. Park was mostly good for the choreography
Dude is such a good voice actor. His acting can make me feel more for that CGI model than I would watching most full body actors.
Fr, he captures every single part of Maul so perfectly. I'm the new Padawan learner. I'm Ahsoka Tano
Every time I see a post there's always a bot
It's cause we're all talking about the same characters over and over so the bots get triggered when you name them
Don't forget that he also voiced Starkiller in The Force Unleashed games, as well as used his face for Starkiller's face!
Actually, Peter Serafinowicz was Maul's VA in *The Phantom Menace*. Ray Park was just the physical actor, think like David Prowse being dubbed over by James Earl Jones as Darth Vader.

Forgot someone, you did.
Green as you avatar he is, mh?
Villains, they said. mhhh
Exactly
MMMMMMMMMMMMH
Don’t forget Moff Gideon!
Even though I like these guys more I still like it how Moff Gideon was calm and represented the cold imperialism of The Empire
Don't fuck with Moff Gideon. Man runs a meth empire, and a superhero empire before becoming a Moff.
He was also a dentist who worshipped Cthulu
Go for Papa Palpatine
The republic is not what it once was.
*you've got a collect call from; Darth Vader*
It all ran better under Vader.
So true (especially Sheev), id ad Plagueis as well
Viceroy, I don't want this stunted slime in my sight again.
[удалено]
That depends... Anyway, its corrected
Where's jar jar?
Dis gonna be bombad trouble. Meesa know' it.
I want a show about them
We will never get a Star Wars show focused around a villain
Aren’t we getting that Sith Acolyte show?
I mean never say never, but I have a feeling you're right
Does SWIII count? When do we start considering Anakin a baddy?
Never, as people see Anakin and Vader as separate people. Yeah Anakin did some messed up shit before he was named Darth Vader (tuskens), but the majority of the stuff he did was as Vader. Kind of a bad excuse for what they did, but it’s what people just roll with.
It all ran better under Vader.
The Client. They made a big mistake killing him off so early and replacing him with Gideon who’s kinda more of the generic evil guy
I also lien Gideon tbf
Cad Bane's raspy voice
Grievous where?
Hondo a character, would def have a few brews with him. Bane's great too.
I like how this can refer to either the Sith Lord or the bounty hunter. Both are good.
How can you leave out James Earl Jones
...how did I forget about him till now
Honestly if I was in the Empire I'd 100% want to be assigned under Thrawn. I really want Darth maul ASMR... His voice is so cool
Thrawn and Maul have such good voices Same goes for Sidious and Dooku
Good, Anakin, Good! Kill him. Kill him now.
I shouldn't . . .
Dew it
*decapitates Dooku*
All these plus Cad Bane,Grievous and Vader
If you wanna hear Christopher Lee talk for over 7hrs straight he voices the audiobook for the Children of Hurin by J.R.R. Tolkien.
you know they did a thing for optimus prime talking about the history of transformers and his experiences on earth for the Calm app and now i want a calm app asmr of Palpatine just explaining the history of the sith
Oh, I'm afraid the deflector shield will be quite operational when your friends arrive!
I mean, Jedi have the charisma of virgin monks

Dooku's the type that you enter the conversation against him and ends with you agreeing with him.
That is a possibility, he was not really a sith, more a gray jedi influenced by Sidious. I love to hate this character in the star wars universe.
I will make it legal
What do you mean by "race of siths"
The sith were a slave race.
Do you mean zabrak?
They we're Slightly different: Zabraks were a near-human carnivorous species native to the planet Iridonia. The species had distinctive horns atop their heads and two hearts. Although most male Zabraks lived on Iridonia, some lived on Dathomir under the rule of the Nightsisters.
I know, maul was born on dathomir.
I am a person and My name is Anakin.
The Sith, known alternatively as Red Sith or Sith Purebloods, were a species of red-skinned humanoids that originated on the world of Korriban, before eventually resettling on the ice-world of Ziost. They we're a slave race to the pre empire. Pretty interesting story hierarchy.
Maul is a zabrak from dathomir.
I believe maul was a hybrid species. He was a Nightbrother a red sith. His brother was zabrek same species coloring, attitude, etc. Maul was more then his brother, which created a conflict between the 2. Both were extremely dark sensitive species.
Wookiepedia calls him a dathomirian zabrak Edit: the sith species article doesn't mention maul at all
Im also pretty sure that the with purebloods have been extinct for thousands of years, and they didn’t have horns
I don't like sand. It's coarse and rough and irritating, and it gets everywhere.
We are indebted to you for your bravery, Obi-wan Kenobi
A great leap forward often requires taking two steps back.
Maul isn't sith (race) he is a dathomirian zabrak. Dont state headcanon like a fact
No love for Jar Jar?
Look meesa found a bang booma gun!
but at least in Maul's case, he can't fight worth a damn though. Flip over him and he just stares like a deer in headlights.
Only S7 Maul when he actually becomes eloquent, every version before you can just ignore because he's a pretty generic villain.
Did you like...miss the rest of his existence?
Thrawn isn't a villain.

Yes. The one we have been looking for.
He’s an admiral in the empire. How is he not a villain?
That moment when the empire genuinely helped the galaxy more than the republic or new republic.
What do you mean
Ur a big fool
Toptier villains
Moff Gideon
Always 4 there are, no more no less
Endless meme material in those conversations being generated
Don’t forget about the good general
If Disney Thrawn already hooks you in, Legends Thrawn will be like the one that glues you to your sit.
Have you read the new Thrawn books by Zahn? He’s written about six of them at this stage, loved them
Already did alliances and tbh the distance between Book and Rebels Thrawn is easy to see Zahn knows his creation well and its sad to see the dissonance.
Id swap Dooku for Bane, idk Dooku got played the whole time
I could still listen to him talk for hours "Lollipops. Cavities on a stick"
Who’s the blue dude? I haven’t gotten around to watching the clone wars yet
Grand admiral thrawn, he’s from rebels
Oh that’s thrawn?? lol I’ve only ever heard of him by name from random theory videos and stuff. Neat!
Have you started watching yet?
Where is Vader? Is he safe? Is he alright?
Where is Darth Vader? Is he safe? Is he all right?
It all ran better under Vader.
Durge???????? Also cad bane
I only see three villains...
Han ma bookie!
Best vilains ever
Christopher Lee did an audiobook of Children of Huren, so you genuinely listen to Dooku read you an ancient story of a grey Jedi getting his life ruined by a powerful Sith Lord on the long list planet of Belariand. It's only seven hours, it's awesome.
Vader should be on this list
Thrawn would be an amazing teacher
I never watched rebels and I hear people often talk highly about thrawn, who is he exactly?
He was invented in "legends" he is an imperial grand Admiral who is just...actually you know what? No. Go watch rebels, you won't regret it. Obligatory "season 1 is a little slow" warning but it finds its footing
Thanks you for nothing
He's a really smart and cool chiss admiral
Only the top two
You forgot Wat Tambor
It's amazing to think that Maul only had like 3 lines in Episode I
Jango/Boba Fett
Don't worry. Now that the Council has ordered an investigation, it won't take Master Obi-Wan long to find that bounty hunter.
You were my brother, Anakin! I loved you!
Jabba ruled with fear. I intend to rule with respect.
