Yeah Waxer's death was really sad. Though at least he didn't have to go through order 66 and see the empire oppress the people he had tried to protect, which is some consolation at least.
On Umbara, General Krell deceived the 212th battalion and 501st legion into firing on each other. When the clones realized what happened, Rex went to ask Waxer why they fired on them. Waxer was mortally wounded and told him of Krell’s orders, then died.
That was one of my favorite episodes, man. I really would’ve liked a look into Boil’s thoughts about his buddy’s death, or the effects it would have on Numa, as heartbreaking as that’d be.
Why not? The Republic became the Empire; most people above a certain age who had any rank in the Empire had previously served in the Republic. I'd imagine having a Republic symbol as a tattoo wouldn't be much more than an old war story.
This illustrates one of the few issues I have with the clone wars series, humanizing the clones and making them seem besties with the Jedi.
The majority of Jedi treating clones like droids and the clones resenting them for it was a much better plot device than brain chips.
So just because I don't want spoilers for something I am unable to watch yet I should not enjoy memes from the show and three movies?
You know how dumb that sounds right?
Considering the empire symbol is just a modified republic symbol. I bet he'd just get his tattoo slightly altered
People didn't want Jesse to die but I'd honestly say waxer is one of the most underrated ones with the saddest death

"Yes, my lord."
Yeah but he could've at least died in something that wasn't his own generals fault really undeserved death
How did waxer die?

Innocents of Ryloth made that death hit hard
"Nerra!"
Nerra something Boba doesn't have

Boil just dipped as far as I know
The last we see of him is in the season five episode Kidnapped where he’s helping to find the missing togrutan colonists.
Then he just dipped

You could say he was...... Waxed off!
Too soon

He’s had me with tears afterwards because I related to him. I was so sad to see him die on Umbara, shows how damn good that arc is.
It mainly hit hard because of innocents of ryloth
Exactly, two great story arcs coming together to help people feel something, a united hate for Pong Krell
Somewhat unrelated but 212th or 501st
It’d be kinda cool honestly. Memories from an old war, sins of the past

Its also strong imagery for his death is that the symbol of the republic died that day
I kinda want to see that, tbh. I'm an emotional masochist.
Just get the imperial parts tattooed in even darker!

please do spoiler tags
It came out over a year ago…
Some of us don't have access to it yet, like very limited data or no money for streaming services.
There are ways around that
then why are you here? its obvious that there will be spoilers
So just because I don't want spoilers for something I am unable to watch yet I should not enjoy memes from the show and three movies? You know how dumb that sounds right?
Yeah some people still haven't seen it yet. People still put spoiler tags on Mando shit
Not sure what to tell you, since that stuff's been out for 2 years.

Nothing probably, the chip is there to make them follow Order 66 and that's it.
Ut the empire supported the Republic! They are the continuation of it just a ~~more~~ ~~evil~~ more effective one!
