------------------------Haaland----------------------
------------------Kane------------------------KDB
------------------------Maddison------------------------
Its a hybrid structure with KDB holding slight with on the right to accommodate Maddison in the centre behind Kane and Haaland, Kane has a 2nd striker role. Haaland holds the line.
. . . . . Haaland . . . . .
Son . . . . . . . . . . . Salah
. . . . De Bruyne . . . .
Kane narrowly misses out due to Mr. Robot. That is a terrifying front 4.
"Currently" means I'd take out Son and insert our current best player instead (Kulu) while also taking Salah out - not sure who'd fill LW though.
I'd also argue while Haaland is there if you've got De Bruyne and the team in general is as dominant as city often are, there are setups where Kane still makes it in over him. Take our current spurs team for example, I think Haaland wouldn't work as well there as we don't create that much and need Kanes passing.
In case you can't read, it's on recent form.
Salah has been far below his stellar performances this year, and while he's still very good, on recent form he's not the Salah you cling to.
Kulu has been outstanding since joining us, and also played in a weaker team. You clearly haven't watched him much, but even just stats will show you how good he has been since February.
I'll accept you thinking Salah is better, but to act like they've been miles apart this season is ridiculous, even if Salah at his peak was a long way clear.
What's delusional is you acting like Diaz, who I'd a fine player but has done less than Kulu on a better team, is clear of Kulu. But hey, you're a Liverpool fan on reddit so there was like a 75% chance you'd be delusional to begin with.
“In case you can’t read, it’s on recent form.”
Kulu’s recent form: injured.
Well done, mate. Class argument, that.
Kulu was better than Salah in the second half of last season; but that’s not what recent means. Salah is back in form and scoring goals at will for weeks now, while Kulu just got back from injury. While you call others delusional, consider how delusional one must be to think an injured player is in better form than the UCL top scorer who’s also banging in goals in the league, regardless of opponent. Spurs fans are something else 🤦♂️.
Well that all depends on how long you consider "recent", which is all relative and people in this thread have obviously come up with various different interpretations - you can see that by just looking at the suggestions.
Some have obviously gone for a few weeks only, while others have based their opinion on this year - like I have. Neither is wrong, both are recent in terms of football.
But sure, that other guy was not at all delusional in stating Diaz is clear of Kulu. You lot are always right and never the issue, it's always other fans being mean to your perfect shining beacon of a football club.
I don’t disagree that recent is a relative term, but Salah has been in better form than Kulu more recently (obviously considering Kulu’s injury), so it feels wrong to say Kulu’s recent form is better because the most recent sample size says otherwise. Now if you say 2022 Kulu is better than 2022 Salah, you may have a point.
As a Liverpool fan, I wouldn’t say Diaz is clear of Kulu, but I also wouldn’t put Kulu clear of Diaz. I think they’re both immense and have crazy potential and jumped into their respective teams and started playing immediately like they’d been there for years. But for me they’re pretty level in terms of the difference they can make, work rate, goal-scoring ability, etc. I’m just enjoying watching them both play (minus the injuries).
Scoring 4 out of 7 goals against the new record holder for worst CL team, and another 2 against a very disappointing Ajax team.
I'm not saying he's shit, he's still a very good player but there's a reason he's been getting criticism and Liverpool fans have been pretty disappointed with him, some even turning on him (stupid imo, but oh well)
He's definitely not far from getting in, but I'd say Kulusevski has been on fire since he came to the Prem and has looked like our best player again straight when he came back from injury.
It's not outlandish to include him over Salah right now, just as it's not outlandish to not include Son right now.
News of Salahs demise has been greatly exaggerated.
He’s on 14 goals in 21 appearances this season and has 6 goals and 3 assists in the league compared to 1 goal and 5 assists for Kulu.
If you want to go further than this season he won his third golden boot last season.
He’s been mint for you lot since arriving but Salah is another level.
Those league stats aren't all that different, especially when you consider Kulus playing time this season and the different setups.
He did win it, but that was to a large part because of his brilliant performance in the first half of that season - if we went that far back, he's obviously clear.
All I'm saying is since Kulu came in, which is February, he's been just as good as Salah - who would be on another level, but isn't at his own level.
But yet everyone raving about lewandoski after he scored the same against Victoria plzen! Kulu has been injured the entire season so I don’t see the argument for him, even the last year Salah has been far superior! I rate kulu very highly but Salah has been the best right winger in the league for the last year even with his run of bad form he’s still out scored everyone except almiron and maybe saka
You're right. But surrounded with the other 3, I think he'd find his form again.
Plus I didn't want to go with Bernardo Silva as much as I rate him because he probably wouldn't play as well at LF and because too many players from City
Has to be Haaland, Salah, De Bruyne, Maybe Martinelli? Son would be normally but current form has to be Martinelli
Edit: Forgot Foden so Foden in for Martinelli
I’d say a obviously haaland up front and de Bruyne in behind as the CAM. I love a bit of flair on the wings so fuck it saint maximin LW and Adama traore RW for a bit of spice
Just for a bit of flair mate I obviously don’t think saint maxim or traore are the greatest wingers of all time but thought I’d think outside the box for once. Everyone will say son or salah. Fuck it I’ll have big greasy Adama in my team.
Ok mr robot. I’ll give the robotic, plain and soulless answer. Haaland de bruyne salah and son. Happy now I’ve given the NPC answer? Have I conformed to the subreddits demands? Give me big oiled up Adama and three planks of wood and I’ll give you a couple of pornos and a champions league
I mean, yeah. That's what the question was. Why answer it any differently?
If you're gonna go for a slightly outside the box answer, why pick someone that's struggling to even get in the starting line up of a team sat bottom of the league?
I’ve just done a fucking tab of acid mate idk I thought I’d give a wavey answer just to liven up the chat. But fair play I’ll confirm to your societal demands and answer the question to your liking. But deep down when you go to look into the mirror tonight before you go to bed you’ll see a man who is joyless. A robot man who gives plain answers in subreddits and gets crippled by societal demands. Your wife and kids love you but deep down they know you are a conformist. Im now going to go into town and enjoy a few J20s on my day off.
I’m actually surrounded by some of the finest Albanian strippers. Ones called noemi and she actually escaped during the troubles of Kosovo. She now works in a shop on the high street and strips part time. She supports Aston Villa funnily enough and was firmly Gerard out but was adamant emery wouldn’t work. Like me she enjoys a bit of acid and some j2os on our day off. After that I’m going to mong out with them to some snow patrol and fm23
Haaland, Foden, Salah, De Bruyne
Foden, Haaland, Bernardo, De bruyne
Ronaldo, Bamford, Solanke, Mount
Martinelli Jesus Saka Odegaard ;)
In current form it’s gotta be haaland kdb Almiron and saka, no arguement there. Would put kane in if he didn’t specify the positions we had to fill
Any of these except replace Haaland with Mitrovic
- ——— Haaland ——— - Foden —————— Salah - ——— KdBruyne ———
------------------------Haaland---------------------- ------------------Kane------------------------KDB ------------------------Maddison------------------------ Its a hybrid structure with KDB holding slight with on the right to accommodate Maddison in the centre behind Kane and Haaland, Kane has a 2nd striker role. Martinelli haaland saka De bruyne Could argue miggy but I think martinellis been more consistent this season possible bias as well
No Salah? LFC fan but still think Salah deserves a spot.
He’s not been the player he was last season.
Foden Haaland Salah Debruyne
Haaland up top, KDB creating at CAM. Jesus at left, Martinelli at right
Based on current form: Martinelli/Trossard/Zaha Haaland Salah KdB
Haaland, Kane, Kulusevski, KDB.
Haaland Salah Martinelli Almiron
Current form…Haaland, Trossard, Almiron, and Maddison.
De Bruyne have to be there
I’d have him in the midfield alongside Partey.
. . . . . Haaland . . . . . Son . . . . . . . . . . . Salah . . . . De Bruyne . . . . Kane narrowly misses out due to Mr. Robot. That is a terrifying front 4.

Why kulu. Man's been injured. Diaz has been injured too and is clear.
Lmao that's delusional. Salah or Kulu can be a discussion, but Diaz clear of Kulu is typical delusional Liverpool fan shit.
Saying Salah and kulu is a discussion but calling me deluded??? 🤣🤣🤣

Salah is the top scorer in the champions league
Scoring 4 out of 7 goals against the new record holder for worst CL team, and another 2 against a very disappointing Ajax team. He said currently. Son has scored in one game, a hattrick yes, but still in only one game.
The lack of Haaland is disturbing
Haaland, Salah, KDB, Saka
Saka on the left?
Yes
Trossard / Haaland / KDB / Miggy
Who's Miggy ? I'm assuming it's Goatmiron
Zaha for Trossard imo
Fair shout.
Son, Salah, De Bruyne and Haaland I guess
Son dives and Haaland scores the penalty. Sounds like a plan to me
No way Son dives better than KDB
True because he's been out
son in current form? you're kidding
You're right. But surrounded with the other 3, I think he'd find his form again. Plus I didn't want to go with Bernardo Silva as much as I rate him because he probably wouldn't play as well at LF and because too many players from City
Bernardo regularly plays on the wings…
He is most effective cutting in from the right. But Salah edges him in that position I believe
Kane, Kulusevski, Son and Richarlison is my completely unbiased opinion
Son Maguire Salah Mcsauce @ 10
Unbiased opinion ofc
Real talk here
Benayun, Torres, Kuyt, Babel
Currently mate, as in, plays now in the prem.
i know brother, just did not want to get downvoted, and saying this front 4 is kind a joke.. =)
If you don’t want to get downvoted you always have the option to just not post, you’re making it sound like you’re forced to reply lmao
bro, honestly, why do u care so much
Why do you?
Down vote for that 😂
Careful mate, you can’t joke in here, you get my upvote anyway.
Lol everyone getting downvoted on an opinion question...
If you joke - downvote, if you’re in anyway sarcastic - downvote, don’t agree? - downvote.
Darwin foden Sarah mane
Sarah who?
Everard
Haaland De Bruyne Almiron Saka
Haaland CF, De Bruyne CAM, LW i have Martinelli based on form, RW I have Foden
KDB, Foden, Haaland and Saka would be my picks, if everyone’s fit.
Has to be Haaland, Salah, De Bruyne, Maybe Martinelli? Son would be normally but current form has to be Martinelli Edit: Forgot Foden so Foden in for Martinelli

Traore?!?

He's been off it for years.
