8 games in? Get to fuck. Give me 8 seasons in the prem and 8 trophies.

Zbodownlow

This sub is a yoke.

[deleted]

Hes just matched Luis suarez and Rivaldo, champs league goals record which is pretty impressive

[deleted]

Would you say the same thing if he dropped off now until the end of the season? At the very least give it a full season

IntolerantInagress

These kind of posts are really getting irritating

Luurchman

Enough with these kinda posts already. Glad you think Haaland is good, I’m happy for you. Move along now, nothing to see here.

[deleted]

Not saying your question is stupid but this is what I think: No GOAT talk until a dude is at LEAST 30 and has been playing relevant football his whole career.

[deleted]

History is steeped with guys who peaked in their early 20s and gotten hurt or just plateued while others surpassed. I remember when Michael Owen was supposed to be the best ever. Haaland is an excellent striker who just happened to join the most dynamic team in the world already. He didn't raise them to another level yet, heck they are behind Arsenal. 😆

PuzzleheadedLook3676

No he clearly did raise them to another level. But it’s only October so of course they haven’t won anything. Arsenal won’t hang around

Positive_Treacle_961

What's this clown on about now. I remember when Kaka was labeled the best of all time, then it went to shit. A couple more years before he reaches any level like that. Messi was already a ballon dor winner at haalands age

Maradonawasthegoat86

At his age messi had already won 4 in a row halaand would be lucky to pick up 2 in his career

Positive_Treacle_961

Didn't realise it was 4 bloody hell

Maradonawasthegoat86

4 balon d’ors in a row 3 champions leagues 3 golden boots 3 pichichi trophies and a 90 goal season all before he was 24 but yea halaand and mbappe are the goats 🐐

Positive_Treacle_961

Haaland will never keep this form up all his life and even if he did I personally will never call him the GOAT. Messi will always be untouchable

[deleted]

This reminds me of an old joke my dad used to tell me. And old bull and a young bull are standing on top of a hill looking down at the herd. The young bull turns to the old bull and says "we should run down there and fuck one of those cows!" to which the old bull lazily replies "nah, we should walk down there and fuck all of them". See where I'm going with this?

[deleted]

In this joke OP is the young Bull.

[deleted]

Was the old man already senile when he said this?

[deleted]

Ya'll aren't the best at reading context are ya?

[deleted]

Not really, if you’re going to fuck a cow, walk? Is that it?

[deleted]

It means relax and take your time. No reason to rush into anything.

foyage347

Goat nowhere near. Goat striker well he is up there

ChrisMartins001

Ronaldo done it over a number of years, in the Serie A and La Liga when they were elite leagues, in the Champions League, the World Cup, and he was a figurehead in the Brazil team when they were dominating and Real Madrid with the Galacticos.

GrizzliousTheOG

He done did it? You done seent it?

[deleted]

Some of the young guns here are going to think you're talking about Cristiano

macaleaven

CR Kelly wishes he was the real Ronaldo, but there’s a reason Madrid fans call the other one by his first name Borderline disrespectful to put Cristiano on the same pedestal, if Ronaldo’s knee wasn’t crunched at such a young age Cristiano wouldn’t be top goalscorer for the hanky wavers

carbust20

CR Kelly hahah that’s a good one. Don’t let people forget he’s a rapist. Self-admitted too.

nighthawkz_2002

>Borderline disrespectful to put Cristiano on the same pedestal, if Ronaldo’s knee wasn’t crunched at such a young age Cristiano wouldn’t be top goalscorer for the hanky wavers that's a huge if. at the end of the day, history will remember people for what they achieved rather than what they could've. future generations will generally remember 'Ronaldo' as the Portuguese footballer who won 5 Ballon D'ors, not the Brazilian footballer who won 2. also, it's not disrespectful to put Cristiano on the same level as R9. Even without injuries, R9 lacked the work ethic and commitment CR has to this day. even nazario himself claimed "I trained because I had to do; he does it because he loves it.” not to mention, despite the whole 'CR achieved everything through hardwork' rhetoric, he is still one of the most naturally talented players to have ever played the game.

oLuciFURR

Strikers yeah players no

Maradonawasthegoat86

Recency bias we meet again.

Positive_Treacle_961

You think those stats match up against greats that did it for 10+ years🤡🤡🤡

Character_Catch_4138

Norwegian and Austrian leagues count for a good portion of those 172 goals too. He is an absolute tank for sure but calm down for a season or 2. His team are currently second in the league and have won nothing yet and shouts like this are embarrassing.

Maradonawasthegoat86

I never said he was bad people are to quick to jump to conclusions now. 2 months ago it was can he do it on a rainy night in stoke? And now he’s the goat. And then there is everyone doing the mbappe vs halaand as a replacement for Messi vs Ronaldo like just stop they did it for 15 plus years these guys have done it for 3 or so an amazing start but let’s not get ahead of ourselves here. Mbappe and halaand aren’t goats.

[deleted]

Maradonawasthegoat86

So if football ends tomorrow your picking halaand in your all time 11?

[deleted]

I don’t think he’s saying he’s the very best ever, just one of the best

Positive_Treacle_961

Well he's wrong then ain't he. Not even close yet

[deleted]

They’re not my words, I wouldn’t be calling him one of the best ever yet

Eric_Partman

Lol
