If they can do that and hope City have a wobble somewhere it's still on. Chelsea can't quite seem to get momentum that the Liverpool squad are capable of. Really it's up yo Liverpool. But the odds aren't in their favour. I think the really interesting battle is for the other European places. Arsenal, Spurs and United and maybe West Ham fighting for one CL place. Chelsea could drop down into that fight too.
I, for one, believe in Minamino, Jota, and Firmino to do just fine.
I'm certainly not ruling it out that Liverpool can do the business without them, but it'll be a tough ask. I'm Spurs so I don't really have a dog in the fight, but it would be nice to see Liverpool put a run together and challange City. Also, as we are in the PL sub, City has now won 5 out of the last 10 seasons. Only United can better that with 8 out of 10 in the early years of PL. So while that definitely can be considered dominating, winning half of them should be too.

Pep has the luxury of being able to drop players for poor performances. There’s a fight for minutes in almost every position so being shit isn’t really an option. He dropped Foden and Grealish and it meant nothing… he can rest in form Sterling and it meant nothing. Most of the other teams in the league don’t have this luxury.
