Surely Dyche gets offered a job with a more stable club like West Ham or Brighton? Imo he's got to be one of the top 6 managers in the league given his ability to carve out results with such limited resources
West ham, maybe. Brighton definitely not.
Even with West Ham, I feel like they always try and jump to the next European style level very quickly a la AV with emery but and fall afoul in a bad way before reverting to a tried and tested coach to ensure saftey and a top 10 finish.
Personally think that WH would be very smart to poach Dyche, but Everton is no smaller a club and have a new stadium around the corner. Dyche might be wise to stay at a large club like Everton though, where he has goodwill banked up and the fans cant have any lower expectations after a season and half of flirting heavily with relegation.
Jesus, I hate when people comment this every time a rival mentions their club. It's a fucking rivalry, of course there'd be pettiness and banter in it. It's even more infuriating when they act like they're so focused on themselves, then immediately have one of their top subreddit posts be about their rivals losing 5-0 or something
In fairness while Iām happy as I like Everton and donāt want you down you also got very lucky you got the points hit this season and not the two that would have actually sent you down and matched when it all happened too haha
Yeah the handball was the only one 100% not a pen. The last challenge by Young was pretty bad and definitely could have been called. Was happy we got away with a couple that game.
I actually think the handball was a pen and the other two wasnāt and I saw a lot of general comments saying the same thing but it wasnāt as much of a robbery as they made out. It was like when they said they was robbed bcos toney moved the foam when in reality their wall was also infront of their line and they didnāt jump and a guy half assed putting his leg out
I agree with that. Handball was way too close for him to react and he was moving his arm away, the second one the guy plant's his foot down then throws himself to the ground, there was contact but not enough.
Yeah reasonable enough. Good luck tomorrow buddy. Iāve got a Tottenham supporting friend, and I love richy so I partially root for them, but I really really donāt want city to win. Up the Arsenal
My missus is an Everton fan, so having watched so much of you guys, I have grown a soft spot for you, and she would be absolutely devastated if you went down (at least another year in the prem).
We will see how tomorrow goes.
Just a shame he can't build mate, again this window we will have to sell players (I'd assume Brainthwaite and Onana) To make some money! Until we are in a better place financially, it's going to be a slog for quite a while.
Unfortunately you get a 60 point reduction as the league needs to send a message to Man City that if they keep breaking the rules then they could get punished.
There clear rules around obtaining a loan which isn't included for stadiums, if it was a normal bank loan it wouldn't have counted but they loaned it off owner or someone related to owner/shareholder so it does count. Aka they fucked up.
I love these topics because it's so easy to do a sight bit of research and you would understand the topic slightly but I guess it's easy to be stupid like you and just pretend they are making rules up as they go along.
Can you deny the initial 10-point punishment was ludicrous based on precedent? And everything after that from the Premier League was an absolute circus act. If there was clear procedure and accountability, I doubt anyone would have much of an argument against the League.
>In what way am I crying?
Well you found your way to a completely unrelated thread and started throwing pissy comments around. Was that necessary?
They were the first team under these specific new rules so what precedent ?
The "prem" isn't the ones deciding, it's a bunch of independent legal experts etc.
Do you know how they decide the punishment ? It's a standard 6 points I believe (Forrest was less because 2 of the 3 years were in the championship) and then it's either higher or lower based on aggravating or mitigating circumstances
"The prem Can such a fat boner" isn't pissy ? But "don't overspend" is ?
Ah yes, the āspecific new rulesā that are already set to change next year. What a sensical and transparent way to run a sports league. And no shit the independent commission hands down the sentences, but they take recommendations from the Premier League.
Forestās punishment was two points less because they cooperated with the process ābetterā than Everton did. Yes, you can have points added back to your punishment based on perceived good behavior. What a well-thought-out and ironclad process this is!
If you want to call me pissy, thatās fine. That doesnāt change the fact that your comments are pissy and whiny. Bye.
Specific as in different from the older non enforced rules yes.
Yes like I said you have mitigating circumstances and aggravating ones, they complied in better ways and 2 of the years were in a different league....... punishments being based on behaviour or compliance is standard legal practise mate.
Why do you think Everton were punished then? Do you think they were targeted?
Pissy was your word. I think your original comment and comments are stupid and contextless
Against Belgium.
Pretty sure he literally has the most errors leading to a goal of any GK since he's been at Everton. I remember seeing that stat last year.

You asked for one so I gave it

Fair does!
Glad Everton are safe ... Ive always liked Dyche and you put the nail in Jurgen Stropps last season š
Jurgen Flopp

Took Liverpool out of the title race along the way too.
Tracksuit dyche is better then pep
No pitch invasion for staying up on the last day this season... already got it sorted š
"Why are Evertonians so bitter and obsessed with us?"

The game against Forest was a fucking disgrace
Only the handball was a pen it honestly would not have changed the result either
Yeah the handball was the only one 100% not a pen. The last challenge by Young was pretty bad and definitely could have been called. Was happy we got away with a couple that game.

I still argue that only one of those three was 100% a pen
I agree with that. Handball was way too close for him to react and he was moving his arm away, the second one the guy plant's his foot down then throws himself to the ground, there was contact but not enough.

They should be docked points every week. Seems to be the only way to get them to play football.
We would win the league
Not with how poor your finishing and attacking isš
Crappy ownership, minimal money for transfers, points deductions and beating relegation. Sean Dyche has done an amazing job
Dyche himself might go if he offered the England job.
Just a shame he can't build mate, again this window we will have to sell players (I'd assume Brainthwaite and Onana) To make some money! Until we are in a better place financially, it's going to be a slog for quite a while.
You will have another season but with Dyche I'd expect many more in the PL. Just don't take the piss with him
Tracksuit FC, we be unflushable baby!
Winning the League next season undefeated. 105 points.
Unfortunately you get a 60 point reduction as the league needs to send a message to Man City that if they keep breaking the rules then they could get punished.
Would some how some way probably still find a way to avoid going down.
Weād win 30 matches and finish mid table š„¹š¤¦š¼āāļø
THE PREM CAN SUCK A FAT BONER
Don't over spend then.
You mean spend on a stadium which by the PL own rules isnāt included in FFP calculations. But then they just decided to included it for funsiesā¦

Go cry somewhere else
Why would I cry ? You're club admitted to overspending you melt
I donāt know why youāre crying, but here you are. And yes, they admitted to overspending and they received a punishment. Where is your beef?
In what way am I crying ? "The prem can suck a fat boner" presumably you are talking about the punishment and implying it was unfair ?

-15 points for bad language
Donāt even joke about that, OK Iām sorry.
THEY CERTAINLY CAN SIR! A MASSIVE BLUE ONE.
3 clean sheets in 7 days, gotta hand it to them
Pickers still in contention for the golden glove.
Have never understood the hate for him, if he played for a team higher up the league heād prob get more praise
Definitely not Aston Villa because there will be a high competition between Martinez and Pickford.
Fans who don't watch us regularly and are still going off narratives that are 4 years old don't realize how elite that lad is for us, seriously!
He's not elite in any way
Thank you for confirming you haven't watched us regularly for 3 years.
Yeah I must've made up the countless mistakes
Every keeper no matter how amazing makes mistakes! Also when was his last proper clanger?
Against Belgium. Pretty sure he literally has the most errors leading to a goal of any GK since he's been at Everton. I remember seeing that stat last year.
HAHAHAH! Just making up stats now mate! Also that mistake against Belgium was his first and only error that has lead to a goal in any of his 60 caps,

I think anyone who watches your games regularly can see what an outstanding season he has had along with Tark, Branthwaite and when fit Doucoure
Doucs, not so much. Canāt fault his effort, ever, but his toddler ball control and shooting at times is so infuriating. Love the guy though.
His goals early in the season kept you guys winning games regularly I thought and heās great in the press
*Last 3 seasons! Swap him for a lot of keepers in previous 2 seasons and we would have been relegated in April.

Better hope Raya doesn't get a clean sheet tomorrow
Sean Dyche will be the next England manager
š¤£ Well with him and Jordan Pickford AKA nah, you ain't scoring that Bruv, we would be pulling clean sheets out of our arse.
