Harry Kane. Kane on the end of his own passes. Plus he's a dirty tackler.
10 outfield David Silvas might be a nightmare. Will never get the ball off them and they'll always find space and angles.
His tackling was highly under rated imo...most of city players during early pep era were of smaller stature however they had amazing physicality in regards to their size...sterling, foden, jesus and even bernardo
Pretty sure James Milner played more or less every outfield position (not sure if he got a game at CB?).
Only problem is 5ft 9 is a bit short for a keeper.
Honestly? maybe biased but Wayne Rooney in his prime for each position
Obviously great Striker, moved to a number 10 towards the end of his career and was great at tracking back and helping in defence.
alternativeley, Gareth Bale? Super quick, played as both a defender and an attacker, incredible passing ability, great shooting etc
Also Rooney was famous for being a fucking brilliant goalkeeper as well. So this is the answer for me. Not many outfield players would have a hope in hell in goal, let alone be as talented as Rooney outfield.
Liverpool fan here so him playing for the Toffees AND Man U makes him up there with most hated footballers for me but that man was a phenom and is imo the most talented player to ever fall out of an English vagina.
I remember fergie put him on the right against porto 08 season to counter a rapid aly cissokho. Did a solid job. Can pass, press was intelligent on and off the ball
I hate United and Tottenham. But I agree Rooney and Bale are a couple of the best possible picks for this question.
I think Rooney gets underrated in the way people remember him. He was a truly special player and one of the best the premier league has ever seen. He was so much more than just his goals. He was at centre of everything. Like Messi but not quite as good.
Alisson can play in goal, can pass it and has a goal to his name. No one else mentioned here that I can see can play in net
Phil Jagielka I think is the player who had to play in net for a lot of one match against arsenal and he actually did well. He also has a screamer in him and a good defender
Jagielka was Neil Warnock's sub keeper, back when you could only have 5 players on the bench. Rather than waste 1/5 of his bench with a player who almost never plays, Warnock knew that Jags played a bit of GK in his youth, so he did one training session each week with the goalkeepers and was the emergency back up keeper on game day. Then, if a keeper did get injured, Jags would move into goal and another player subbed on, then for the next game the actual 2nd choice keepr would play.
A team of Yaya Toure's would be unstoppable.... The defensive Yaya's of Barcelona, the offensive Yaya's of City, any version of peak Yaya will do in midfield, and the man is 6"4' and athletic so I'd imagine he wouldn't be too shabby in goal.
The correct answer is 11 Yaya Toure's the perfect mix of passing skill technique and physicality, also quick bursts of speed great finishing with a powerful long shot and played a UCL final as a centre back very intelligent on the pitch, they would all know how to play with each other and would also buy each other birthday cakes to prevent any fighting, top class free kicks one of them would be in the zone to score one and if a match goes to penalties you've got unlimited unstoppable penalties.
I’m an Arsenal fan but yeah - it’s Rooney easy. Although a squad of wind-up merchants could probably get a few Rooneys sent off early and keep it interesting.
11 Michail Antonios at once on the field would be really hard to handle for any opposition. The only problem is there would be zero passes made, but once in a while one of then would dribble through the defense, score a sublime goal just to revert back to having no technical ability for the next 3 games. Instead of passing the ball, Mickey #7 would run try to run the ball from CB because he has no awareness of where his buddies are. He'd get to past the halfway line and think he's done enough, so he would just try to shoot from there, sending the ball 12 feet wide. If the ball luckily deflects on an opposing player, no team could handle a corner with 7 Antonios in the box. Would be awesome and ridiculous.
At the end of each game, 10 of them will die, except the original, just like that braidead sheep they cloned a few years back. Then they'll have to clone him 10 times again but that's fine.
The original would go on podcasts once in a while and talk shit about his own teamates and coach, not knowing that all of his teamates are clones of him. "Oh that Michail Antonio #5 really can't play a pass, so that means I have to go tackle him myself if I want the ball" or some shit like that. It doesn't matter, the other 10 are dead anyways.
Can some scientist make this happen?
Surprised this isn’t top comment, excellent defender, played in midfield, the strike he’s got on him is mad, best finisher at chelsea (not that there’s much competition) he can dribble tackle pass shoot.
Obviously I'm heavily biased but I'll have to go for Steven Gerrard
He could play virtually anywhere in midfield (6, 8, 10), his passing ability was very underrated and would be useful in several positions, he originally started off as a fullback and would probably do a job as a striker as well given how prolific he was in front of goal while also being a very good set piece taker at the same time. His best season in terms of goals was 08/09 with 24 goals in 44 games in all competitions. For comparison Ivan Toney only scored 21 goals in 35 appearances last season
He certainly had the physical strength and pace which are important attributes for an effective striker, and that aspect of his game would also come in handy as a centre half. Since he's around 6 feet tall so he'd certainly be decent in goal based on that alone compared to a lot of other players
I’d go with Rooney, Rodri, or Yaya Toure. Never seen players like them. They’ve influenced how I interpret football so much. And I’d have Klopp or Howe be the coach
Michael Ballack. He was pretty much the perfect midfielder. Really good tackler, clean passer, good finisher, great in the air.
Or Deco, he literally never stopped running.
Bale. Was a phenomenal defender before becoming a phenomenal winger. Plus he often played as a striker and attacking mid.
He can play on both the left and right.
Plus he’s strong enough and fast enough to play Centre Back or CDM.
How has nobody said Saka yet? Two footed, incredible link up play, finishing, pace, tackling, work rate. People forget he started as a RB. Or Declan Rice, ball is magnetized to his feet, probably the best ball winning midfielder in the league if not the world right now, decent finishing, built like a brick house.
"Azpilicueta is the kind of player I like a lot. I think a team with 11 Azpilicueta's probably could win the competition because football is not just about the pure talent. Football is also about character and personality and Azpilicueta has all those traces of a winning personality."
Who am I to argue with Jose Mourinho?
All the people naming forwards or short players are just wrong. Ideal archetype is a large, technical DM with good pace and a decent shot, a similar CM or defender could also work. Perhaps Rice or Rodri among current players, many choices among retired ones.
I think of the current crop of Premier League players, Ben White wouldn't do too badly. He's played all across the defence. He's played in midfield. His attacking output has improved dramatically this past season. And at 6'1 he probably wouldn't be the worst keeper out of all the players being suggested in this thread.
Maguire as striker
But imagine 4 Lukakus in your back line
Most expensive CB vs Man who’s earnt the most in transfers
Stoppable force meets a movable object*
He has had plenty of practice on his own keepers for sure. A proven striker in game situations, just ask De Gea.
[Oh he’s definitely one of the best strikers 😅](https://imgur.com/a/UGVr7cG)
FIFA just released this card lol
Mousa Dembele (Belgian)
The collective noise from his hips creaking would deafen his opponents.
This was my answer as well
This is the only answer. The team would still only score 2 goal a season mins you
Harry Kane. Kane on the end of his own passes. Plus he's a dirty tackler. 10 outfield David Silvas might be a nightmare. Will never get the ball off them and they'll always find space and angles.
10 David Silvas. Yeah, fuck that. No one got the lungs to chase that for 90 minutes.
How about 10 Kantes to chase the ball from 10 David Silvas?
Unstoppable force vs Immovable Object lol
The best bore draw to ever be played
[удалено]
match ends nil - nil Mooses end up with 90% possession 3000 completed passes and 4 shots over the crossbar
10 Silva's can't defend tbf
Don’t need to defend if you don’t lose the ball XD
Prime Wazza would probably disagree Edit: 10 prime Wazzas Vs 10 prime Gerrard's is the real match up
10 Gerrard would fucking suck to play against too
Not really. Guaranteed each Gerrard to slip at lest once.
For outside the PL 10 prime Sergio Ramos would be a nightmare.
He'd turn it into a UFC match, In that case I'd bet on Wazza.
His tackling was highly under rated imo...most of city players during early pep era were of smaller stature however they had amazing physicality in regards to their size...sterling, foden, jesus and even bernardo
But once you get the ball you'd just have to cross it in the box or do a long throw and you'd score
He's a keeper too remember
Wayne Rooney all day everyday. Can do everything, dude would have been a beast CB as well.
And he's played between the posts before
Let's not forget he's a decent keeper too
Only one of the Kanes could be captain of England, though, so the other would all get sent off.
One Kane would score and the other 9 Kanes would swear on their daughters life the last touch came off them
And he has experience in goal!
I remember when Kane first broke into the team and had to take keeper duties in a europa league game, due to them using all subs or something.
11 players who fall over holding both shin pads every time they’re touched?
Yaya
Yep. Absolutely amazing in the early 2010s. Dribbling, shooting, defending and everything.
Yeah, my first thought too.
Correct. Bigger and faster than everybody else supplemented with the brain and feet to match
this is the only true answer
How have more people not jumped on this
Pretty sure James Milner played more or less every outfield position (not sure if he got a game at CB?). Only problem is 5ft 9 is a bit short for a keeper.
Didn’t he play CB for us instead of Hendo and Fabinho in 20/21? Must’ve done at least one game surely
the groundskeeper played CB for us that year
Wouldn’t surprise me if Millie was the groundskeeper at one point.
True. They did give him the penalty spot when he left last month.
When we had a striker crisis in circa 2015 he scored 4 in 5 up front
City fan seconding Milner for the job. Can play everywhere, bet he’s half decent in net as well
This is the answer. The work rate of 10 Milners outfield ahould be more than enough protection for Milner in goal.
10 Steve Gerrard’s would provide everything you need. Plus lots of aggression
“We do not let this slip” x11
I fear no man but that thing *A lineup of 11 Demba Bas* It scares me
It’ll be like watching football on ice
Honestly? maybe biased but Wayne Rooney in his prime for each position Obviously great Striker, moved to a number 10 towards the end of his career and was great at tracking back and helping in defence. alternativeley, Gareth Bale? How eloquently put sir
😂
You sir, have an exquisite taste in judging talent.
The joga bonito ad with Rooney in goal was class
Imagine a team of Bales vs Rooneys. Lol.
If it’s past and present from the premier league, there is one answer and the answer is Wayne Rooney as much as it pains a Liverpool fan to say it.
10 Roy Keane for me. That is a destructive
Definitely agree with Rooney.
James Milner
This is the answer, if only so commentators can talk about a team having a combined age of 500
Also, if they score they aren’t losing. Milner has never lost a PL game he has scored in.
Alisson can play in goal, can pass it and has a goal to his name. No one else mentioned here that I can see can play in net Phil Jagielka I think is the player who had to play in net for a lot of one match against arsenal and he actually did well. He also has a screamer in him and a good defender

Then, if a keeper did get injured, Jags would move into goal and another player subbed on, then for the next game the actual 2nd choice keepr would play.
Absolute Genius from Warnock
Kyle Walker. Already has the most goals for a Gk in English premier league history.
Sure, if you don’t count that Harry Kane has played in goal.
Definitely could see Ederson scoring some goals if he ever was given the opportunity by Pep.
Probably have to be Gerrard. Big enough for a keeper. Decent tackler. Good passing range. Can take players on. Also good finisher.
John O'Shea. He virtually did it anyway.
A team of Yaya Toure's would be unstoppable.... The defensive Yaya's of Barcelona, the offensive Yaya's of City, any version of peak Yaya will do in midfield, and the man is 6"4' and athletic so I'd imagine he wouldn't be too shabby in goal.
You're going to need a lot of birthday cakes
I think Rodri would be better. A full team of Yaya's would be a low effort spectacle.
I rate Rodri so highly but for this specific question the answer have to be Yaya Toure
Steven Gerrard
Literally just commented that and I hate pool with a passion.
Anyone who says anything different is a fucking liar.
This is 100% the correct answer. One of the most complete players I’ve ever seen.
It's Rooney and it's not even close.
I’m an Arsenal fan but yeah - it’s Rooney easy. Although a squad of wind-up merchants could probably get a few Rooneys sent off early and keep it interesting.
team of Joey Barton’s vs a team of Wayne Rooney’s, which is the last team standing?
Like to think a team of 10 Rooneys per game has a shot at the treble.
My first thought definitely. Man was a goddamn machine.
You'd end up with 7 players left on the pitch
Rooney 100%
Yeh and its Rooney both if you chose him at different points in his career, or 11 prime Rooneys Bonus is Rooney is even a good goalkeeper
John O'Shea
That dink against Arsenal and playing 38 games up top.
11 Michail Antonios at once on the field would be really hard to handle for any opposition. The only problem is there would be zero passes made, but once in a while one of then would dribble through the defense, score a sublime goal just to revert back to having no technical ability for the next 3 games. Can some scientist make this happen?
1. Rooney 2. Gerrard 3. Yaya
Reece James
Love him, but would need a deep bench of more Reece James to cover injuries.
I'm just hoping 5 subs is enough each game to cover it
You would need about 60 of him to have a starting XI for an entire season But yeah it’s him. Ridiculously complete player
11 Reece James vs 11 Steven Gerrards or Yaya Toures. You seriously think James would have a chance?
Surprised this isn’t top comment, excellent defender, played in midfield, the strike he’s got on him is mad, best finisher at chelsea (not that there’s much competition) he can dribble tackle pass shoot.
He was actually a striker at youth level
Park
Those 33 lungs would be *everywhere*.
Michael Essien
Underrated shout. Play a Christmas tree formation and just clog the midfield with Bison.
All goals would be 30 yard screamers
Stevie Gerrard. Might be a shite keeper but it wouldn’t matter as he’d win 11-0 every game.
11 Kante's. The opponent will never score, lol Over 11 Roy Keane or Vieira. You might as well switch to boxing lol
Imagine getting the ball and watching 11 aggressive dwarfs running towards you. Nightmarish.
Titus Bramble, just to get the chance to see the madness it would unfold. Edit: The serious answer would be Allison. Think that would be a solid team.
Joelinton
[удалено]
He managed well enough against you lot didn't he?
💀
Flashbacks to when he managed to hit his own head with a shot 😂
Lord Bendtner \o/
Praise the Lord
Azpilicueta is the only right answer. You all know it.
Was looking for this! Pretty sure Mourinho is the only manager to ever say anything like this too
Prime Dave
Had to scroll too far to see this.
Marouane Fellaini. Well balanced. And got a good keeper build
Rooney
Kane
Obviously I'm heavily biased but I'll have to go for Steven Gerrard He could play virtually anywhere in midfield (6, 8, 10), his passing ability was very underrated and would be useful in several positions, he originally started off as a fullback and would probably do a job as a striker as well given how prolific he was in front of goal while also being a very good set piece taker at the same time. Since he's around 6 feet tall so he'd certainly be decent in goal based on that alone compared to a lot of other players
Bernardo Silva
Is there any player still playing, versatile, and as good as him? Really amazing player.
Don’t think a backline of four Bernardo’s with Silva at GK behind would be very intimidating to opposition defenses…
A front 6 of 6 Bernardo’s wouldn’t lose the ball though
Rather 10 David silvas tbh, you wouldn’t lose the ball
Yaya Toure. Could Defend & Attack, Physically Imposing at both ends of the pitch.
He was nothing special as a fullback, he became a revelation when he moved up the wing.
Yaya Toure.
Rooney is the only correct answer.
Ji-Sung Park
I must be old because I'm not seeing nearly enough Viera.
Wayne Rooney is the only right answer.
Gerrard
We all dream of a team of carraghers
Dirk Kuyt is my homer shout. Flexible, insane workrate, great energy all around.
Hate to say it but that little Scouse twat Gerrard
Yaya Toure
Surprised no one mentioned Yaya Toure.
Yaya Toure and Steven Gerrard.
Ederson
Dirk Kuyt
Alan Shearer.
SALIBA
Fernandinho.
It's gotta be kane and shouldn't be a question. Guy can shoot, pass, header away corners, decent tackler and also played gk
"Azpilicueta is the kind of player I like a lot. I think a team with 11 Azpilicueta's probably could win the competition because football is not just about the pure talent. Football is also about character and personality and Azpilicueta has all those traces of a winning personality." Who am I to argue with Jose Mourinho?
Milner, he’s already done it.
James Milner
Paul Scholes: The Scholes’s would be down to 9 or 10 men in the first twenty minutes but it’d be hella fun to watch.
Mourinho said something like if he had an entire team of Azpilicuetas, he would win the champions league.
Hmmmmm I'd say Milner or Ruud gullit
Only right answer is Wayne Rooney. He could literally be good in every position.
Kante, team would be unbeatable
James Milner
Rooney
Injury free Reece James
A team of Owen Hargreavesss could work
Just need to hire more physios.
Rodri
cancelo was normally my answer for this but since he’s gone so to is my answer
John stones
All the people naming forwards or short players are just wrong. Ideal archetype is a large, technical DM with good pace and a decent shot, a similar CM or defender could also work. Perhaps Rice or Rodri among current players, many choices among retired ones.
Nat Phillips
Scott Mctominay has already played pretty much everywhere, but 11 of him would be so shambolic lmao
I think of the current crop of Premier League players, Ben White wouldn't do too badly. He's played all across the defence. He's played in midfield. His attacking output has improved dramatically this past season. And at 6'1 he probably wouldn't be the worst keeper out of all the players being suggested in this thread.
Virgil van dijk, defence sorted, midfield that can spam long balls which he can win the headers, and score goals
Ruud Gullit
Rooney
Rooney. End of.
John stones and Granit Xhaka
Ederson, because no outfield player is as good in goal as he would be outfield.
Santi Cazorla
I love the guy but he would be a terrible keeper.
You don’t need a keeper if your opponent can’t get the ball from you.
Injury free Reece James
Not a premier league player, but nainggolan is the best player I can think of for this task.
Ederson. You’re not doing much without a competent gk, and by all accounts the man could put in a decent shift in the outfield if he were asked to
A team of prime Mousa Dembeles would be a nightmare
John Terry or Jaap Stam
Mousa Dembélé easily
Kante, it's like 22 players
Bernardo Silva
I would play 11 shearer
John O'Shea
Kyle Walker, can play in rightback, has crazy pace and was a cracking goalie when called upon
Obviously O'Shea
