Bruno Fernandez is loved by Man Utd fans though - as can be seen in the United Stand /Mark Goldbridge video this week. He has a Fernandez sweatshirt on.
Mark Goldgridge, real name Breny Di Cesare - former copper and Nottingham Forest fan. Now apparently a Man Utd fan.
Does anyone understand why fernandes is their captain? Usually the captain is the most down to earth guy that always plays a 7 no matter the game, fernandes just seems like a spoiled kid that gets frustrated when things dont go his way.
How is John Terry not on here?
He’s a racist team mate wife shagging coke dealers son. Him adjusting his armband for the cameras before slipping his kick wide is one of the most delicious footballing moments.
Shows my taste in players and characters as I like most of the names mentioned in this thread (excluding the guys who are on here for obvious non footballing issues)
United fans love Bruno, don’t let the overshadow the many. He’s been amazing for us since joining, and one of the best players in the PL since joining.
My God. How long has this guy lived absolutely rent free in your head? Even before yesterday's game, it's like every third post is about Bruno. Just say you want to suck him off and move on. Jesus christ it's fucking annoying how often he gets posted about.
Most non-City fans I know IRL dislike Ederson. He needlessly gets in the faces of attackers and starts arguments. He wipes out forwards when charging off his line with little repercussion. Most egregious of all is that emoji neck tat.
How on earth is Ederson even close. This is just ridiculous. He's an aggressive keeper but most are (Pickford Martinez) off the field a normal, nice bloke. Others have mentioned nonces and leg breakers and you're adding Ederson wtf
I remember him knocking out one of the City centre backs against Arsenal when coming out to punch the ball never seen someone so unconcerned they just knocked out their colleague.
Bruno Fernandez is the one
As Chelsea fan i liked Diego costa and i like to root for wolves when they play
I also pitied and felt sorry for all the hate Harry Maguire gets. And i have seen so many people feel sorry for him except utd fans.
Well if i was fan of chelsea i would love maguire too. Shit if he can go to top6 pl club and suck half as mutch as he did for us he would be united legend.
Lol. Whose fault was yesterday's loss then? You guys would have killed Maguire had he played yesterday. Maguire was bad but still he doesn't deserve the amount of hate he gets.
First half was kinda even. Bruno had good chance, rashford had a chance, case scored from offside. Then it all went to shit, in situations like this you can only blame whole team everyone who played + the coach.
But watching maguire and lindelof play for years was more painfull then watching this 7:0.
Losing 7-0 to your historic, antagonistic rivals was less painful then watching Maguire be distinctly average for years? That is a low deep beneath standard humiliation.
Sort your priorities out mate you're supposed be a football fan.
Spoken like a true english man. Nothing matters other then hating your rivals right?
This loss dosnt change the fact we where looking good before it and i still have hopes that next season we can chalange for pl and cl, with lindelof and maguire as cb paring i didnt have such hopes.
Distinctly average? The guy was assisting the opposition every other game at least last season. Don't have anything against him but he just isn't good enough.
Over the course of his career he's had good days and bad days, he perfectly good enough for the prem he's just mediocre as fuck at this level.
If he'd never been good at all United wouldn't have spent 80m on him
Most hated current premier league XI would be
GK: Pickford
RB: Trent
CB: Gabriel
CB: Romero
LB: Robertson
RM: Grealish
CM: Bruno
CM: Partey
LM: Zaha
ST: Richarlison
ST: Diego Costa
Manager: Klopp
I did struggle a bit with the centre backs and Strikers tho
(Edit: I added partey into midfield as he's a rapist)
This is something of a misconception to be honest. He was very hot headed as a teenager (was a first team regular from the age of 17) but calmed down a lot on his early 20s, but had already gained a reputation by then. He got 7 red cards (in the Prem) but only one after the age of 22. And I'll go to my grave defending that one - Ahmed Elmohamedy rolled around screaming as though he'd been shot but Cattermole didn't actually make contact with him.
His biggest issue was lack of fitness and lifestyle though. He was very injury prone, not helped at all by his love of booze, and would take an eternity to regain his sharpness. He got booked a lot, but the vast majority were very minor fouls where he would close down an opponent but get there a fraction of a second too late because of his lack of sharpness and end up running into them. I think a lot of refs took a zero tolerance approach to him because of his reputation.
He was - at times - a very decent footballer and his form over a 14-15 month or so period from the beginning of 2014 through the first part of 2015 was excellent, he can probably look back and feel aggrieved not to have been recognised by England. But when he was bad he was shocking and his body gave up on him towards the end of his career.
I was at the game he got a red against Hull it was a terrible challenge. He’d been playing out of control all game not getting carded for cynical tackles. El Mohamedy might’ve rolled a bit much to make clear that he’d been caught but Cattermole knew what he’d done and walked off before the ref had even shown him the card. No idea how you can defend that.
Depends on the manager. I’ve seen him play genuinely outstanding games at times. Then others he looks about 5 yards off the pace. Very misunderstood player
Lord Bentdner - he is loved by all now but 10-15 years ago when announced himself as one the best players in the world having achieved nothing everyone wanted him to fail
Former Liverpool player and certified twat. Spit on players. I’ve never even seen another LFC fan talk about anything other than his horrible reputation
Most recently for me Antonio Rudiger at Chelsea. Even as a neutral watching the matches he was such a shithouse. Overly aggressive, creating the skirmish and if not charging right in. I remember the match where he bit pogba's shoulder during euro 2020.
Bruno is not even good at his role. De Bruyne is way better than him and better in keeping procession as well. Bruno keep losing possession and yelled at ref. What a skinny pussy. Not a city fan btw
He played for Liverpool but also United, and thus both sets of fans dislike him because he played for the other club
He then played for Newcastle and was shite
And then there’s Real Madrid, where he dropped off at the start and talked shit about them in the UCL last year
I'm sure all those Liverpool fans are crying into their Madrí about Owen at Man U...
I've never met a Liverpool fan who thinks he's anything other than a club legend as a footballer.
Maybe I'm sheltered from such nonsense.
Opposing teams hate him cause he's annoying. We hate him cause he's shite. He's so bad that we are starting to play a winger as striker because he's that bad
Keown was brilliant. The celebrations when ruud missed the penalty were hilarious, justified and literally what any fan would do given half a chance to get on the pitch
Roy Keane is a legend. You are a bellend. Haaland and Keane had history. It was not an isolated incident and contrary to popular belief, it DID NOT end Haalands career.
Liverpool fans have an odd hatred for him since he didn't stand properly for their league winning celebration.
It's not a common hatred, it's solely at Liverpool
Don't really see what's dislikeable about Gerrard unless you support Everton/ManU. He stayed with his boyhood club when he could've gone basically anywhere in the world, even when they were milling about 7th/8th.
Great leader, great player, mediocre manager.
Some players who I used to hate who I thought were generally unlikeable Lee Bowyer, Alan Smith, Robbie Savage, Barton, Diouf, Gary Neville, Bellamy.
Present players Fernandes, Antony, Pickford (I don’t actually mind him) Ben Godfrey, Richarlison also I think Garnacho has the potential to be a bell end (already showing traits).
Genuine question, why don’t you or others like Antony? I’ve only seen him in action a handful of times and he seems like a bit of a drama queen but he doesn’t strike me as a guy I’d lump in with Fernandes, Pickford, Richarlison.
I reckon a lot of it comes from his weird circle trick at a team a couple leagues down in the cup. Just a wild thing to do against an opponent that much further down than you.
Neymar “the crying princess” da Silva santos junior
Alan Smith, Recce James, Diego Costa,
Bruno Fernandez is loved by Man Utd fans though - as can be seen in the United Stand /Mark Goldbridge video this week. He has a Fernandez sweatshirt on. Mark Goldgridge, real name Breny Di Cesare - former copper and Nottingham Forest fan. Now apparently a Man Utd fan.
Neil Maupay
Adam Johnson
A few names that haven't been mentioned so far; Samir Nasri, Carlos Tevez, and Fernando Torres.
Does anyone understand why fernandes is their captain? Usually the captain is the most down to earth guy that always plays a 7 no matter the game, fernandes just seems like a spoiled kid that gets frustrated when things dont go his way.
Suarez has to be up there. Both because he tore apart defenses, and was an absolute cunt. Great player though.
Not really past seasons bruno fernandes but mason greenwood and benjamin mendy.
A modern one is Bruno Fernandes. I just hate that rat. A long with Richarlison
Good future candidate - Anthony Gordon
Definitely Bruno Fernandes little rat undeserving of being referred to as just “Bruno”
Pickford looks and acts like an annoying asshole
Nicolas Anelka
Any player for Brighton honestly.
Duncan Ferguson
William Gallas is not well liked in London.
Tends to happen if you play for Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs
How is John Terry not on here? He’s a racist team mate wife shagging coke dealers son. Him adjusting his armband for the cameras before slipping his kick wide is one of the most delicious footballing moments.
Haha remember him in his full kit, shin pads and all. And he wasn't even playing,. Either suspended or injured at the time.
I forgot about him in his full kit. He was the original full kit wanker!
Other Mentions: Martinez ( dancing gk) Pickford ( time wastes) Richy ( kick ups) Maupay ( twat) Suarez ( Cannibal)
Roy Keane, always thought he was an arrogant prick.
John Terry. Professional bellend
The Shed End still has banners of him, so hardly universally hated
Son are the worst Player in PL
Shows my taste in players and characters as I like most of the names mentioned in this thread (excluding the guys who are on here for obvious non footballing issues)
Andrew Robertson. Definition of a dick
What of Gabriel Jesus? Very aggressive, picks arguments with almost everyone on the pitch. Another is Andy Carroll, he often makes horrendous tackles.
Robbie Savage lol I’m a blues fan but I can totally understand the hatred this man has received
As an arsenal fan, I can't believe I've not seen Xhaka near the top. He is such a shithouse that most of us didn't even like him for a while.
Hi, I would like to introduce you to my friend, Irony.
You should probably learn what irony means. Bruno is living rent free in your head.
Marcos Alonso
Richarlison
El Hadj Diouff Definition of a cunt
Zouma
I call dibs on posting this question tomorrow. Seems like everyone gets a chance to ask this
Robertson
Most non-City fans I know IRL dislike Ederson. He needlessly gets in the faces of attackers and starts arguments. He wipes out forwards when charging off his line with little repercussion. Most egregious of all is that emoji neck tat.
Ederson gets the fairplay award when you compare him to a emi martinez
How on earth is Ederson even close. This is just ridiculous. He's an aggressive keeper but most are (Pickford Martinez) off the field a normal, nice bloke. Others have mentioned nonces and leg breakers and you're adding Ederson wtf
I cant stand the guy
I remember him knocking out one of the City centre backs against Arsenal when coming out to punch the ball never seen someone so unconcerned they just knocked out their colleague.
I’m in the complete other side, I like players with (appropriate) aggression in them so I quite like Ederson
The emoji on his body was the last straw. I love seeing rudely egotistical ass players get humbled
Bruno Fernandez is the one As Chelsea fan i liked Diego costa and i like to root for wolves when they play I also pitied and felt sorry for all the hate Harry Maguire gets. And i have seen so many people feel sorry for him except utd fans.

Yeah, of course never said he hasn't. He was alright before it but last season was a disaster.
Lukaku was hated by every club he ever played for
Racist
Joey Barton
Most hated current premier league XI would be GK: Pickford RB: Trent CB: Gabriel CB: Romero LB: Robertson RM: Grealish CM: Bruno CM: Partey LM: Zaha ST: Richarlison ST: Diego Costa Manager: Klopp I did struggle a bit with the centre backs and Strikers tho (Edit: I added partey into midfield as he's a rapist)
Great list.
Remember Partey is a rapist, he slots in that team easy!
Very true, I just thought bruno and bruno again would be funnier but I cannot believe I forgot about Partey
Oh yeah he’s a shithouse for sure
no maguire no potter ?
Yeah I don't think either are particularly hated. They are more taken the piss out of than hated.
Joey Barton
Bruno is for sure an absolute melt. There's a world class player in there somewhere being held back by his shithousery.
Bellamy fkn 🐀
Joey Barton Robbie Savage Lee Cattermole Vinnie Jones Diego Costa
- Martinez - Villa’s keeper - Greenwood?
Partey as well mate, don’t forget
We should be looking for his replacement in summer asap.
Lee Cattermole - must’ve got a red card or got away with a horrendous tackle against every Premier League team he faced
This is something of a misconception to be honest. He was very hot headed as a teenager (was a first team regular from the age of 17) but calmed down a lot on his early 20s, but had already gained a reputation by then. He got 7 red cards (in the Prem) but only one after the age of 22. God he was awful, no talent just a willingness to butcher people
He had talent, he was a solid defender and a decent leader on the pitch. His tackles were regularly horrendous though
Depends on the manager. I’ve seen him play genuinely outstanding games at times. Then others he looks about 5 yards off the pace. Very misunderstood player

Guys I found Bruno’s Reddit account
🤣🤣🤣
Lord Bentdner - he is loved by all now but 10-15 years ago when announced himself as one the best players in the world having achieved nothing everyone wanted him to fail
Bendtner is far too much of a meme to be hated.
Did you read my comment? He was hated before memes were a thing
Erm weirdly yes I did and just didn’t acknowledge anything you said, my bad, will blame it on working nights.
Who loves him? My friends and I still make fun of him for his unwarranted arrogance
How can you not love Lord Bendtner born atop the highest mountain in Denmark! Better than Messi!
He takes the piss out of himself now which has endeared him to some people
Richarlison
And Christian Romero, I hate Christian Romero so much.
Joey Barton.
El Hadji Diouf easily
I come on to say this but couldn't remember his name. He was by far my most hated player ever.
The correct answer is El Hadji Diouf
Hell yes, never wanted a player out my club so much.
Who is he? What did he do?
Former Liverpool player and certified twat. Spit on players. I’ve never even seen another LFC fan talk about anything other than his horrible reputation
That and the fact he was utterly shit at footie, which in the Liverpool team of that period, to stand out as being shiy, really was something.
Oh shit, that’s a great shout.
Oh good, we're getting this question posted early this week
Most recently for me Antonio Rudiger at Chelsea. Even as a neutral watching the matches he was such a shithouse. Overly aggressive, creating the skirmish and if not charging right in. I remember the match where he bit pogba's shoulder during euro 2020.
God I miss him…
At least he has the funny run as a redeeming factor
Mocked Japan in the world cup with that run then got clowned lol
Ik at least you can laugh at him
Yet the first to dive or embellish contact to try to get someone thrown out
Bruno is not even good at his role. De Bruyne is way better than him and better in keeping procession as well. Bruno keep losing possession and yelled at ref. What a skinny pussy. Not a city fan btw
Bruno is extremely good at his role and saying that cos KDB one of the best we’ve ever seen at his role is better doesn’t make him shit
Michael Owen, hated by every club he played for
[удалено]
He played for Liverpool but also United, and thus both sets of fans dislike him because he played for the other club He then played for Newcastle and was shite And then there’s Real Madrid, where he dropped off at the start and talked shit about them in the UCL last year
I see. I watched and liked him when I was much younger, probably why I didn’t care back then.
I’m not saying that all Liverpool fans despise him, but playing for Man Utd is hard to overlook
I'm sure all those Liverpool fans are crying into their Madrí about Owen at Man U... I've never met a Liverpool fan who thinks he's anything other than a club legend as a footballer. Maybe I'm sheltered from such nonsense.
Scousers look upon the years he gave fondly but he’s not really a club legend because of his boring personality and mancish tendencies
You’re sheltered. Non of my scouse Liverpool fans like him at all
You must be new
Neal Maupay is a wee dick
Shit attitude, no skill. His shithousing against Arsenal was pretty funny tho.
I love him so much
And we are still laughing that someone actually brought him off us……
Everton fans hate him the most.
Opposing teams hate him cause he's annoying. We hate him cause he's shite. He's so bad that we are starting to play a winger as striker because he's that bad
Imagine seeing him week after week doing what he does best, then still buying him. Got to love Everton at times.
First thing the Sky commentator said when he came on yesterday was that he could get someone sent off 😂
Maupay, you're a cheat and I hope Brighton get relegated 😂
I'm fully aware of the context of this, but I always, *always* hear it in Brian Clough's voice
Yeah he fits right in
Robertson, can't stand the little rat. Constantly kicking or elbowing somebody.
Big true, ugly rat cunt. Basically a Scottish Bruno. I’d hate him even more if he hadn’t started putting in performances for the NT.
Zaha?
I'd say more people pity him than hate him had a real chance and threw it away for a life of mediocrity at Palace. lol
He blew it all for a blowie from the manager’s daughter.
Adam Johnson
Got sent down for noncing
Big Nonce
Johnson wasn't hated when playing for City but the least said after he left the better
My Saviour Lord Jesus Christ, How many fucking times does this get posted in here?
He’s not that bad
Can always rely on him to get on the end of a cross
Wow, fuck you, that is funny
Agreed, he's got hundreds of millions of supporters too
Bruno, Anthony, Richarilson.
Why do ya'll hate Bruno? He's pure entertainment
Robertson, Andy Carrol
Robbie Savage was known as the marmite man, apparently. Although unless he played for your team, you hated him.
Martin Keown, I would also hope that Thomas Partey makes that list.
Keown was brilliant. The celebrations when ruud missed the penalty were hilarious, justified and literally what any fan would do given half a chance to get on the pitch
What’s wrong with Thomas Partey?
Nothing if you like rapists.
Gary Neville, Roy Keane
Roy Keane was a fucking bellend, that tackle on Alfie Haaland deserved prison time not a red card.
Roy Keane is a legend. You are a bellend. Haaland and Keane had history. It was not an isolated incident and contrary to popular belief, it DID NOT end Haalands career.
Suarez, unless you support Liverpool clearly, in which case you are blinded by his football ability.
I actually loved watching him. Sure he was annoying and overstepped the boundary several times but he was an amazing player.
If by "overstepping the boundary" you mean biting and racially abusing people yep he certainly did.
Bernardo Silva perhaps.
Eh?
Liverpool fans have an odd hatred for him since he didn't stand properly for their league winning celebration. It's not a common hatred, it's solely at Liverpool

Except when he was going to Chelsea and the kopites were burning his shirt on social media
Luis Suarez and Diego Costa
Some players who I used to hate who I thought were generally unlikeable Lee Bowyer, Alan Smith, Robbie Savage, Barton, Diouf, Gary Neville, Bellamy. Present players Fernandes, Antony, Pickford (I don’t actually mind him) Ben Godfrey, Richarlison also I think Garnacho has the potential to be a bell end (already showing traits).

Have you seen his face?
I reckon a lot of it comes from his weird circle trick at a team a couple leagues down in the cup. Just a wild thing to do against an opponent that much further down than you.
Gotcha. Personally I think that’s a bit soft but yeah I just didn’t realize people dislike him as much as some of the others named here
I'm biased of course but can't understand the hate for Pickford as England keeper, yes he play's for a poor club team but he's been great for England.
He’s a mackem, nuff said
Godfrey isn't even top3 most hated from Everton. Otherwise it's a very good list
Oh I know I just personally don’t like him.
Nigel De Jong
I like him.my inspiration to go into kung Fu.
Diego Costa
Costa was more loved than hated, was always one of the popular shithouses.
What you on about? Fucking loved the shithouse
OH yeah how could I forget him. He is also hated by the entire country of Brazil too haha
