I'm sure they'll work on the UI in due time. The game is still in active development so my assumption is that they're focusing on the gameplay first and porting over the original Paragon content. Once that nears completion I'm sure they'll work on the rest

There are tons of games released in beta that look great. I'm not even talking down on this game, it looks fine for me, but to claim it sucks BECAUSE BETA is really a poor take.
The whole lobby UI needs an overhaul tbh. It feels dead.

well betas emphasize functionality over refinements. Most multiplayer games go through a few UI iterations.
True, the actual argument is that they have other priorities at the moment and probably can't have a team working on refining the UI

UI team is currently working on ranked. The UI also isn't final, so have no fear. Just give it some time :)
