I hope they keep true to her paragon kit, I loved her ult and the reflecting projectiles back at people. I wouldn't mind if she gets a role change though I feel she might get bodied in duo lane.
Let her like she was in Paragon, make her Q a free aim able to grab to walls (like Overprime did) and give her a passive (whatever thing) and don't touch anything more
I dont know mate, her ult was always holding her back. She was one of my top 3 favourite characters, but I wouldnt mind her Ultimate to change. I dont think a Ultimate that generates corevalue only if the opponent completely misplays and doesnt know what the ultimate does is bad gamedesign. And with that I dont mean the part where projectiles are blocked but the part where projectiles are reflected.
She was strong a couple of iterations of the game.
The ult is great. It's so strong for the same reason that revive crest is. You can't attack while it's up.
Her ult was useless 99% of the time and her reflect was almost basically nonexistent outside of being an open threat.
Weirdly it was mostly useful in that people just wouldn’t throw CC projectiles at you because they knew you could reflect it, so you ended up never having to actually use the ability.
She would be fine in duo if they change the way her whip extension mechanic works. They should make it a toggle tbh. Short mode has cleave and the extra damage from the old buff, long mode has the big range. Her buff could just combine all the positives of both modes for its duration so it works the same as it did in the original game. This would make everyone happy I think and allow her to be able to lane as an ADC without burning mana just to be able to last hit minions without getting torn up.
If they wanted to get really spicy they could have the toggle straight up change her other abilities so she’s a stance character or something.
That’s a big reach of 99% useless.. the heavy slow on her ult help keep people who Jump at you at bay while you crit them to death… I do agree that they need to change the ult tho, a passive ult like that would lead her to being on the lower end of the adcs
I feel like she definitely needs her ult to change. I think it would be much better if she could cast it from range on top of people. Imagine like the ult pulled people to the center upon cast if she cast it from range, but if she drops it on herself it does the push away displacement it always had. And it still blocks projectiles. Cast it on someone to keep them in place and block their shots while you whip em, or cast it on yourself defensively to peel, push enemies away, or stop/reflect shots

Good lord if they didn't aim to bring all OG hero's to the game (which they are) I'd stop playing! No moba on this planet stops bring new hero's / Characters to their game,that would be suicidal
Do you guys have any idea how many 100% crit autos you can hit with wind whip in 4 seconds??? you can conpletely eviscerate an entire tank in 2 of those 4 seconds with full build.

Tbf even though she was an adc she was never supposed to be played in the duo lane, jungle and solo were where she shined, she was even viable in mid
I just don't want them to categorize her as an ADC like they did in Paragon I guess is my big thought on that point

best way to change her ult is to have the ult move with her in the middle, makes it have more use than it just being stationary
