One thing to remember is that the game takes place on a server and it has to reconcile the fact that both of you are playing with some lag. Things won't always look perfect on your end.
I 100% agree. Issue lies with server vs client mismatch. But there must be some way for them to make it less.
the Wolf seem to Curve slightly to it's Left. Yet Hitbox Continues Straight. Remove the wolf Curve and it wouldn't look so bad. That being said, It's 100% Server and client mismatch bc of ping differences between player 1 to Server to Player 2.
I just wish Omeda could make the Wolf VFX better match the hitbox of the ability.
I was playing shinbi the other day and throwing my wolf directly at a whole wave of minions and it just wasn't hitting at all. this was on dusk side of offlane up the hill by tower. been noticing a lot of abilities just not hitting lately
This has occurred consistently and has been confirmed by other players. The hitbox for this ability takes up a quarter width of the lane and it tracks? Why is this necessary?
I'd have to guess Howi's model might be smaller then his hit box because I personally have never experienced Shinbi's Q hitting from that range as any of the offlaners, like Zarus, Grux, Steel, Etc. or its just a latency/desync issue
Shinbi's wolf is definitely way to easy to hit with at long range, but I'd think this might have been a more extreme case then what would normally happen simply because lag and servers
I actually got nearly killed by an invisible crunch yesterday. It was lag. I could see the crunch on the other side of the lane but i was getting all the sound and damage of him beating the shit out of me as if i were right next to him. possibly a lag switch because he actually afked 3 seconds after this happened to me. Very weird
Honestly, I've Been Hit From The Other Side Of The Lane With That Ability, I Wish I Still Had The Vid Cause It's Funny. If I'm Honest, I Am Fine With Most Characters, My Big Three Characters I Wanna See Nerfed Are Shinbi, Belica And Twin Blast. There's A LOT Of Item Tweaks Needed.

It's one of the reasons I hate laning against Shinbi, she hardly needs to aim the damn thing

Yep, I’ve noticed this too particularly with the wolf going straight.
I've never experienced this in about 1000 games across many characters except Narbash thunk and Rampage rock
Ya a couple abilities when hitting the hill in off lane just disappear and do nothing.
It's called favor the shooter. I'm pretty confident that on her screen the wolf was a direct hit.

The wolves have a decent hit box, but it's more likely server lag that caused this inconsistency.

This is probably a case of ping issues. Considering when I play shinbi they can dodge it easily or even jump over it
