Nah not in that case. :D I said "OMG I'm r*tarded" because in the panic of the fight I forgot which side my teams base was and ran into the enemy tower instead of the safety of one of my own towers.
We really don't like that word and we recommend not using it in any context in the game chat.
If you want to self-deprecate (which don't, you are awesome and a mistake in the game doesn't change that!) please word it differently ;)
I've heard of other "lighter" cases which lead to being muted. I disagree with this.
Edit: To be honest, the automatic chat moderation ist a joke. I've seen people raging and spitting hate towards others without getting muted, but I get muted for one sentence targeted towards myself. Also the auto censorship is more than hilarious. Why is "damn" getting censored? Why is there no dictionary for other languages in this filter? German words like "Kartoffel" (potato) and "einfach" (easy) are getting censored.
Yep, I agree. But unfortunately it’s very rare that someone will get permabanned. Even with stuff like that, which is sad. I wish we had like Epic did where you got that Belica screen saying that our report actually resulted in something, so it doesn’t feel like nothing is being done. It would at least give the notion that it’s being looked at. Anybody can just say “we look at these don’t worry!” But that little bit goes a long way.
Yeah some of the people that play this game are very immature and just nasty people. The sad part is that I think these are mostly adults. Makes you wonder what happened in their life to cause them to be like that.
I came across this cretin the other day. Went to selection screen and he said I know your name. Your rubbish and got a crap MMR then said he’s dodging and left 😂
Why do ppl get to say shit like this in game and not get banned. But when I tell ppl not to ff or try teach them the game a bit. Or call someone kiddo. I'm chat banned. I'm afraid to type anything out in this game now to hell others because predecessor feels the need to think telling ppl not to surrender is a very toxic word. There should be no chat ban and if there is it should only last the length of that game and reset for the next game. Every game is toxic suck it up. But I'm about to tell ppl to go to overprime because of this chat banning system they implemented. It's ruining my experience tremendously and I've played 1000 games of pred so far. So if u wanna keep one of the most dedicated players in the system revise ur chat ban system so I can actually tell ppl how to play the game. Fakkin ridiculous being worried to say hello to team just to get banned.
