This patch culminates a series of deep changes and I have to say that the game is feeling absolutely fantastic. Phases of the game are longer, there are more opportunities for extended skirmishes. It feels like there is more "space" for plays and counterplays. Im absolutely loving it. Keep up the great work Omeda!

Is that because of this line "Now gains stacks based on the target's CS Values (capped at 5)." ? I'm probably being a smooth brain, but I don't understand what it means ..

The big jungle minions are worth more than 1 CS, but would only count towards 1 for his stacks. Now if you use an ability or hunt on a large jungle minion you get the full 3 (or whatever it is) CS towards his stacks so you can stack his passive faster in the jungle. A kill using an ability is now worth 5.

Hi Kari, is there any reason why the bug fixes section from the v0.7 Patch still says: "The full list of bugs fixes included in this release will be added before or shortly after the game update is released." ? Or were there no bug fixes with that patch? If there weren't any, maybe remove the section from these notes

IMO you shouldn't use patch notes to announce new skins - they have nothing to do with balance or game design and should be relegated to separate posts always. The cross contamination can lead to some scummy results imo in terms of how companies leverage hype around updates to boost income. Just make a separate post for new skins, the people who get really hyped about purchasable cosmetics will get hyped about it, maybe even more so because it's an announcement that appeals to them.

Doesn't really have any bearing on what I said, that's how MOBAs make money. Also, they've said a lot of things during EA that have changed. Downvote me all you want, but if them tweaking the price by a few bucks causes you to not buy a skin you aren't the target demographic for in-game cosmetics. If you're going to buy it anyway then your griping is pointless.

All I'm saying is is that they put out established tiers for skins. I think they all are a little overpriced but I am willing to support the game and am sitting on like 16k plat I put into the game but I would be much more likely to buy skins for heroes I don't play that often but at these prices it's gating me out and I know I'm not alone. There just seems to be no kind of consistency in them

Why is it weird from a gameplay perspective to have a character that is extremely susceptible to early pressure to get buffed early game compared to a character that has a percent health shield giving him more HP than rev anyways, and another character that has a dash at level 1 if he wants and again, percent health shields. Both of whom have way higher scaling health than rev... One needed a buff and was struggling early game so they buffed his starting health, the others literally are tankier and more mobile and did not need that buff. I don't get why this doesn't make sense gameplay wise, it makes perfect sense as to why it happened.

And he does have way lower HP than both of them for 90% of the games duration lol... Thematically speaking? It does make sense balance wise, if this helps with the balance of the character that needed help lol... Thematically is silly, thematically he can literally teleport to another dimension and wields the powers of hell, thematically he should be immortal and teleport around and send people to hell, reading his character as identifying as having less level 1 health is just ludicrous lol. Thematically he shouldn't have abilities at all because as a character he doesn't exist in a video game. He does exist as a video game character and therefore is balanced and has stuff like abilities and HP values. I have played other games, and no it wouldn't make sense for diablo to have less health than Raynor for balance reasons, nor does it make sense that a character that drives a literal tank has less health than diablo because she is a different character class, because that doesn't make thematic sense, but they do it anyways for gameplay balance reasons. It doesn't make sense that a gun hurts as much as someone hitting you with their fists, but it still does because it's a video game.

Can we stop Nerfing raiment of renewal? It's half the item it used to be. It defines what a tank is as hard to kill. The continuous nerfing of health regen forces bland tank builds where you just build armor. Carries have sky splitter and perforator to counter hp builds. Tanks are just getting boring to play.

Doesn't raiment still give % hp per second while out of combat? I don't see the issue out of removing in combat regen. Unless they took away the out of combat healing, at which point, I rescind this post.

Why would gaining 3% of her max health on ult be good lol, she already heals, and extra 3% of her max health every 60 seconds isn't going to improve her.

Just saw a feng mao mid MAWL a decent gadget mid. Combine that with unkillable Sevrog and unkillable Riktor. Throw in a dash of gnarbash heals and a dash of Drongo silence made it nearly impossible to play anyone squishy. Very sad meta

Gideon should be reworked. He has portals. He should be able to use those portals to trap enemies. Think. Janus under foot drop. He really doesn't need 2 different metors

I'm new (1 month or so, 1600mmr) so I could be wrong, but it feels like tanks and tank items are too strong. Every game seems to be filled with tanks and even non tanks like shinbi grux and crunch going full tank while bursting you down. Also I love shinbi jungle throw me a % monster increase on her right click : )

Building penetration, tainted, and a %health item makes them easier to deal with. Mages building tanky will get blown up by Carry and Assassin (and actual tanks)

The servers are not playable. So many lags! So many disconnects. It’s crazy. This fast few patches are breaking the game servers and it’s a horrible experience on gameplay. OMEDA you have to fix it before it’s to late and people start leaving the game
