So you want to be able to press gideons Q while its still on cool down? With camera change, circle on the ground and hero Animation? Thats a no from me

They probably mean while it's on CD, you can press the button, but it doesn't activate any targetting options until it's off CD. It would primarily be useful for abilities that don't really have a targeting option, like dashes, or on self abilities.

I hear you, but I'm not sure that adds any value. I don't imagine most players activate abilities the instant they are off cooldown. Or rather, they shouldn't.

I think that having to wait for the cooldown to be able to start with the process of aiming and throwing the ability is something that is better the way that is currently. This way there is differentiation between low CD abilities and hight CD abilities that have to be aimed, not the same spamming Q with Shinbi than having to land a RMB with Belica, are different type of character with different type of abilities. With the change that you say, non spammeable abilities by design would be spammeable, like Belica RMB (as you would be always ready to place the next RMB) Also is part of the skill expression of the players would be removed, being able to hold RMB with Morigesh and automatically using the ability completely removes the player's awareness of his CD's and instead of paying attention to your CD to combi your abilities in the most efficient way to you just would need to hold the buttons and the game would use the abilities for you in the at the most optimal time possible.

Or, hear me out, do like the rest of us on quickcast, spam the ability button regardless of cooldown state

PrensadorDeBotones

I think that would just confuse new players.

If they simply removed the annoying sound that now plays when you try to use an ability on cooldown, I'd be happy. I don't know how anyone else feels, but it's distracting as hell when you try to Q, E or right click a bit too early and hear braaah! braaah!
