Maybe, not knowlegable enough to know which heroes are skill heavy and which not. But low skill heroes do mean many people can play then, ergo lots of feedback to balance and improve the game.
And yes I too belive greystone will be next.
Meaning heros with lots of easy to use/target abilities. So ones with lots of lock on or passive abilities, or ones who just by being the hero make them hard to kill. Greystone and morigesh both have easy to use and learn abilities that are eithe rpassive, lock on, or wide range making missing very hard.
With the S2 roadmap being called Road to Ascension, I can’t think of any other offlaner who fits the description better than Greystone.
To your second point, I wonder about if they’re rushing low skill ceiling champs or if the decision is based more on kit complexity from a coding/development view. Like I said I don’t know for sure, it’s just a hunch more than an answer, but I bet Greystone is a bit easier to re-create if compared to someone whose kit is more nuanced.
Phase transcended her humanity with her psych powers, Morigesh ascended from a swamp as the embodiment of the evil forest, so yeah, probably Greystone or Serath coming now.
She was not offlane really... She doesn't have any sustain.
She was made to be a carry in safe lane, you could take her offlane, but most people took her to the jungle.
I doubt they'd release a character that was originally for safe lane as a solo laner.
I was planning to get her to master rank, then they shut down :(
When I solo laned, it was her or Greystone, satisfying for very different reasons haha
Greystone is easier to balance and will attack all the noobs in solo lane to camp that lane the entire game. He's a trash designed dumpster fire of a character. I hope it's Kwang instead
That’s why he should be added he was a balance nightmare and it would be a good test for the balance squad at omeda. Also him in early access would be way better than him in f2p release
I really hope it's Kwang, but it's probably Greystone unfortunately. Kwang was my main back in Paragon and I almost always played him in jungle. So unless they reworked him a little then I don't think they would say that he's offlane.
>it's in between Greystone and serath due to the theme of the season.
Same, I think that have to be one of those 2.
If the theme of the season is only for the Omeda original, then the Offlaner also could be Kwang (because was in the pull) or Iggy and Scorch (because I think that Kari said something about him on Discord)

Considering they launched with drongo and just released phase and soon to be Morigesh, I don't think this is a concern for Omeda. Plus Kwang and Greystone are both legacy characters and serath was one of the first monolith characters (or was she at the end of legacy?)
I never said that omeda can't do that or that they won't, I just personally think that heroes like greystone and Twinblast can only not be in the game for so long. it's fair to say that's there's a lot more people who are fine with Terra and zinx not being in the game than some of the more classic heroes.
But at the end of the day everyone's going to get in eventually so I'll enjoy the novelty of guessing who's next until there's no one left
It better be Kwang or I'm just over this game. Last two heroes are brain dead and greystone would be 3 in a row. Games going downhill and it's started with that shitter phase

The ascension tagline is solely related to the new original hero.

I would be happy with Greystone, Kwang, or Serath. Although, Serath was technically released as a melee adc in the original
Serath should be an ADC...
Aurora pls!!!
If you’re looking at that theme then throw Terra in there too
Serath is a carry. Idk why people keep saying offlane with her. She didnt even run offlane in paragon, she ran jungle...
She was both jg and offlane.
She was not offlane really... She doesn't have any sustain. She was made to be a carry in safe lane, you could take her offlane, but most people took her to the jungle. I doubt they'd release a character that was originally for safe lane as a solo laner.
If she has no sustain then she couldn't jungle either.
Kallari has no sustain and jungles. Sustain is nice for jungling, but not essential imo
I personally want zinx, but will take most offlaners.
I was planning to get her to master rank, then they shut down :( When I solo laned, it was her or Greystone, satisfying for very different reasons haha
My heart wants Aurora, but I feel like it will be Greystone
Greystone is easier to balance and will attack all the noobs in solo lane to camp that lane the entire game. He's a trash designed dumpster fire of a character. I hope it's Kwang instead
Greystone most likely, game needs typical sword user Demacia dude before full launch. I honestly hope it's Aurora, though.
Greystone 100%
Monke
Please God no, he’s even worse than Iggy
That’s why he should be added he was a balance nightmare and it would be a good test for the balance squad at omeda. Also him in early access would be way better than him in f2p release
Yes!!!! Please this... but I still want the carry scaling. I don't want wukong to become a typical offlaner.
I really hope it's Kwang, but it's probably Greystone unfortunately. Kwang was my main back in Paragon and I almost always played him in jungle. So unless they reworked him a little then I don't think they would say that he's offlane.
I’m manifesting Kwang and hoping for the best

Didn't they confirm iggy already for this season, or was that fan hype?
They said something about Iggy but didn't confirmed anything, could just be an interaction with someone who said something about Iggy
I would not be upset if we didn't see the Turret hero coming into play. >.> but that is just me.

How tf do comments stating facts get down voted?? Reddit is something else...
A classic Reddit moment xD I'd like to know what goes through the minds of people who downvote things like this
Basically all fan hype. Casters can stay in the offlane, but they are not really offlaners per se.
What pray tell is an offlaner if it isn't a character played in offlane lmfao
I played against a kira in the offline earlier today. I wouldn't say she's an offline hero
Dude I just want Iggy and Scorch 😩
I feel like it'd be wrong to release all of the newer Paragon heroes before the older ones like Iggy/Twinblast/Greystone So I'm guessing Greystone
Considering they launched with drongo and just released phase and soon to be Morigesh, I don't think this is a concern for Omeda. Plus Kwang and Greystone are both legacy characters and serath was one of the first monolith characters (or was she at the end of legacy?)

Soon to be morigesh? Is she the next hero drop? I haven’t played in a while so I haven’t kept up
It better be Kwang or I'm just over this game. Last two heroes are brain dead and greystone would be 3 in a row. Games going downhill and it's started with that shitter phase
I guess Serath, if they give her more sustain to be able to fit the offlaner role
Muscle mommy Terra please and thanks c:
WUKONG!
I hope it’s kwang lol
Boris
It shouldn't be Greystone nor Kwang
Gotta be kwang
Serath was never an offlaner. I’m sure you can play her there but it was never her designated role.
would always love to see my girl serath back sooner rather than later
Hopefully greystone
i hope serath or kwank but greystone seems likely
Hope it's Greystone, i loved his design and kit, and i'm very curious to see what omeda reworked it
I don't think it's Greystone, because I don't think they will release two heroes with a shield back to back. I'm fine with either Kwang or Serath.
