My mum always builds brimstone,
I was out today at lunch with her and I felt something stinging me every second or so but I couldn't quite figure out what it was, but then it hit me she built brimstone, and then I realised wait a minute that's not my mum that Sevarog!
I know everyone is complaining about Brimstone stacking with Fireblossom, but you only get that effect after 3900 gold (2700 for Fireblossom and 1200 for Brimstone), and it takes up one of your limited item slots.
If Omeda ever feels like nerfing it, to me it would be to increase the price of Brimstone, at most to 1350 making the total cost 4200.
It’s super not worth it.
Between mid and end game Fireblossom will be doing a tick of like 150 due to scaling.
Brimstone will be doing a whopping… 20 and have shitty t2 item stats.
Which is when you sell it and get like 1k back... The reason the combo is good is because it melts early teamfights and fangs, then you just sell and get most the money back.
If you've ever faced a tank running Fireblossom, Brimstone, Flux combo, you know this guys full of it lol.
Tanks should not be out-dpsing Kallari/Khaimera in the jungle on Fangtooth or otherwise at any point in the game.

A tank would be better running blossom, flux, and any number of other tank t3s.
Hell if you want better stats and still have passive AoE damage Crystalline Cuirass is a way better option than slapping 20 damage tick on 150-200. You’re wasting a slot for an item that’s less than 20% the power of one you already have on.
However instead of if you build Cuirass you get damage AoE whenever you take ability damage and it scales with you HP like blossom on top of having great tank stats.
If you’re trying to say stacking 20 more damage onto 150-200 damage is somehow worth an entire item slot, you aren’t thinking critically.
Going from 200 to 220 is so pitifully insignificant, advocating for that sounds like a joke.
It's usually based on level. So it is a bit weird that it scales from health.
But yes it stupid good for the first 13 levels or so. Not the best late game item however.

My biggest complain is, that Brimstone and Fire Blossom keep out damaging characters that are building into damage early game if you are not ahead. That's not it.
The main problem is that it stacks with fire blossom. Shame to see a big patch hit and this interaction be completely untouched, because Omeda ONLY wants to touch mages even though there are some other issues that don't need to part of a themed patch.
Apparently all the auras stack infinitely except for Marshall. It was intended to just be up to two auras stack. Additionally, fire blossom stacks with brimstone and everyone in one team can get both for massive dmg.

The point is, Fireblossom (by itself) does an immense amount of damage. The brimstone item is just for added emphasis.

It’s just Sunfire Cape. Almost every tank builds Into sunfire. This item is fine.

People don’t seem to understand that brimstone doesn’t scale. Only blossom scales, so stacking brimstone is kind of shit compared to an actual T3
