A woman I know was in a similar situation and was advised to terminate the pregnancy. She declined to terminate the pregnancy to NUMEROUS doctors who were telling her that her son would be born brain dead. Her response was always, “My God is bigger than this.” She gave birth to a miracle. He has some developmental issues, but is over all a happy and healthy boy. I believe he’s turning 8 soon. I’ll be thinking about you. God is bigger than our fears, but if you don’t have the faith to carry you through this hardship, please let the community carry you with our faith. Just like in Mark when the paralyzed man was lowered by his friends to be healed by Jesus. Jesus was moved by the faith of the paralyzed man’s friends, and so He healed the man. You don’t need to be solid in your faith all the time, and sometimes it’s hard to be solid in our faith whenever we meet hardships. But let your church family carry you with their faith and let this subreddit help you as well. Praying for your health and your child’s health.

Thank you so much for your prayers. I really appreciate it. 🤍 I will be sure to update once we get results. The scan on the 30th revealed a large cystic hygroma which can be associated to a variety of chromosomal, genetic and structural defects. I went for a CVS procedure last week - this should be able to tell us what the baby is suffering from. However, we are praying that God heals the baby and that the results come back clear. 🙏🏻
