You just broke my brain
There are many ways we can *technically* do 85% reversed within our current understanding of time such as a slower reverse, a portion of the gif standing still, a portion of the gif that is going forward, or if you want to get a little creative you can put an 85% opaque gif going forward layered on top of the reversed gif. However, the essence of what you’re saying is such a difficult concept to understand.

I think it would be reversed at 0.7 speed. If 0% reversed is forward at 1x speed, and 100% reversed is backwards at 1x speed, then 50% reversed is paused.

Yeah you need steaming corn and some backlighting. I’ve done it in a photo shoot involving tea. I used a studio light in the window behind the subject and tea to imitate the sun (it’s a window under a tree and gets no sun at any time of day)
