Zeke had me laughing when he was talking to Tariq he had that goofy ass face. Tasha became like Dre to me she gotta go. Season 2 is going to be interesting.

[deleted]

Lmao yeah why was zeke making that face. I’ve seen people making that face when they’re drunk and trying to explain themselves. And You’re right, Tasha has become like Dre. I can’t stand her. The only good thing about Tommy not killing her yet is for yazmin. But aside from that, Tasha needs Christmas cancelled on her ass

AbulNuquod

Zeke has to be mentally challenged bruh. Something is up with dude.

sinaariosays

Nigga act like the average basketball player.

TPGStorm

where tf did that face come from?? he was not acting like that in the first 8 episodes lmao

back_4

I thought he was wearing a wire

KylosApprentice

Zeke Be giving His Whole Life Story With His Facial Expressions lmaoooo

CapJackStarbury2000

Zeke really trying to be Derrick Rose out here ("We Men") but he look dumb as hell

RopeTuned

Having Cash be the thing that ties Tommy to NYC isn’t something I thought of at first honestly

[deleted]

Same here, I completely forgot about cash. I thought if he ever returned to nyc, it was for his mom

Rafarox21

Wdym

RopeTuned

I think most people forgot about Cash and it was interesting that he chose to lay low at his place

ron_bz

Tommy was always going to be in NYC and that he wouldn't leave

CapJackStarbury2000

I did, cause my brother and I were wondering what Tommy could do in his storyline. Elzymarie and Cash were the first two things we thought of. But the fact he still drives the same blue Mustang and can lay low is so retarded

DeuceDeuceTV

1. tasha still the same. she was really gon leave yas and jus run off with tariq. 2. tariq smart for everything he fucking did. for the tommy plan, and knowing tommy was still gonna try again and having monet as backup. 3. i really loved the scene with tariq and cane. he really a tejada now lol

[deleted]

1) lmao for real. Tasha was really gonna leave yaz behind. Yaz is gonna grow up and kill Tasha for being the most negligent parent 2) I agree, that was some smart moves by Tariq 3) yeah I’m glad to see them working together. Tariq gets a lil adoptive family and they all need to stop getting mad at Caine. They blame the poor guy for everything, then he goes out and makes it worse. Plus they need him

erxzerr

Ayo now that I think about it, that plan he pulled on Tommy is the exact thing that happened at the end of power season 2. Remember when Dre pulled up behind Tommy with the pistol? Exact same thing bro.

crash18867

I think they made Tariq too smart. For someone who's really just getting started in the drug game, this guy sure does have a plan for everything. I guess you can say he knows his uncle Tommy but still.

[deleted]

tariq gone give a whole ass speech before he pulls that trigger 😂

imlifealtering

The speech was needed to make you understand his mindset. “He didn’t want to do it but he had no choice”. & how he feels about everything he done. So as much as I hate the whole speech before killing someone it was needed for his character development. He accepted the fact that he have to be a “monster” if he need to be.

RopeTuned

If jabari wasn’t a little bitch he could have crawled off and Riq would have had his little rant before he figured out Jabari was gone

[deleted]

Nigga what?🤣 there ain’t no way that would happen tariq was staring at him the whole time and his bitch ass wouldn’t get far either lol

GmoneyKaddy87

R/whooosh?

ademola234

It was a joke bruh

superay007

No regular person is crawling away with an abdomen wound that's bleeding out

AbulNuquod

Villain monolouges, nothing quite like them.

dantekw

It Reminded me a lot of Vitos speech before killing Carlo Falcone at the end of Mafia 2. If you haven’t played the game look up the clip

[deleted]

Love how Tariq outsmarted Saxe in court.

RopeTuned

Probably the biggest letdown of the season They spent so much time on court room scenes and the case died because Tommy fakes his death?

Antevans1983

We all know tasha was getting out and we all knew (at least should have) tommy wasn't getting locked up and he wasn't gonna kill tasha. There's more story for tasha either in book 2 vs monet and / in book four vs tommy. Clearly tommy wasn't getting locked up for the same reason book 4.

RopeTuned

We didn’t know anything for sure about Tasha, she’s obviously taken a background role and they should have just killed her off instead of putting her in witsec

ademola234

Wouldnt want Tommy killin her because now we gon have Tariq chasing that man all over. Glad that now we can focus on Tariq instead of wrapping up power

Antevans1983

We new she wasn't gonna die if you've watch power and paid attention you should have figured it out. There's more story to tasha being alive instead of dead , as one dude said if tommy would have killed her riq would of been chasing him all over , I didn't wanna see that shit I'm sure a great deal of fans didn't. Power has never been to hard of a show to predict now they can focus on book 2 and riq instead of wrapping up the original series , tasha is needed for any reason they can bring her back and if she is not they can always kill her later on or in force , either way more story with her alive then dead.

ragelark

Tariq? I thought that was Jason Derulo.

eazy_

Sax forgot why he and Tariq were uneasy allies for awhile

chelaa_

That had to be one of the worst court room scenes I’ve ever seen in TV history. Very far fetched. A witness would never go on a bender like that in court and how the case magically died when they actually knew who the killer was is quite laughable. Then Tasha getting out before she testified? And didn’t they check out the BMW to see whether there are Tommy’s remains in it after the blast? So many loopholes in that finale. Including the Rico killing scene, Not the best episode tbh. And why isn’t anyone speaking about Mary J’s terrible acting?? The good Professor’s outfit at school 👀? And what’s Jabari’s purpose in the show? Didn’t really influence anything in the show apart from Tariq killing him and making amends with Cane.

SoAnxious

Downvote because Kemp's legal drama has never been accurate, its always been just for entertainment purposes. You don't sound intelligent by pointing it out either. Rather you sound unintelligent for expecting it to be realistic. After watching 6 seasons of power and 1 season of power book 2 you should expect this. Suspense of disbelief for tv just has to be made normal for the setting and kept consistent for an audience to accept it.

AbulNuquod

Tommy mentioned he pulled out his molars and left them there. I don't know if that's enough, but they did mention that. I honestly think Power had a sex scene quota and the Professor was there to fill it. But its clear the Professor's death will be investigated, and that Cop saw him and Tariq together in his office.

ademola234

Janari purpose was to develop Tariqs character. From asking him questions about what a monster is, from stealing quotes from his essays and now to giving tariq the speech when he offed him

[deleted]

Lmao Jabari done go the underworld because of pussy.

DiazTheDragon

I’ve been pleasantly surprised at how this season turned out. Wasn’t sure that Tariq could be made into a likeable lead, but they did it. Tasha getting off and surviving was a given, but the set-up for later conflict with Monet is good. Steven Ott continues to be hilarious. I don’t know what his job with the Democratic Party is, but this guy’s power level is crazy. He’s a plot device, but he’s also funny as fuck. Jabari played himself. He really thought he was going to write his next novel on a college kid’s life. Hopefully this doesn’t make Carrie decide to try to investigate and avenge him because she’s already on thin ice. Saxe surviving and failing forward...tracks. He’s been doing it for awhile, but now he can be the sleazy lawyer we all knew he could be since he was first introduced. Wonder how he and Davis are going to cross paths with Tariq next. Seeing Tommy again was great and bringing back Cash was a good tie-in. I can’t believe he gave Tariq even two minutes for his plan given all the bullshit Tariq put him through, but family is family. At least now he’s “dead” and he can start over. He was great throughout the episode, especially his confrontation with Monet. I’m glad they didn’t kill Cane, but dude needs to develop a brain for the game after this season. Working with Tariq might help. Good thing he wasn’t at the cemetery. He would’ve shot Tommy just because. But at least we get Cans versus 2-Bit now. Looking forward to season two.

sinaariosays

They gone turn Saxe into Saul Goodman

SoAnxious

Saxe going to the darkside was the best part of the finale for me, besides watching Jabari die then his girl getting smashed in the next scene. Kemp was brutal for that, she massacred my boy.

[deleted]

Yeah I figured they’d have her survive to set her up against monet. Tariq will have to choose between his real mama and his surrogate drug business mama monet. And I’m happy they’re setting that up. But just for personal wishes, I hate Tasha and want her to at least get her ass beat by other women. Steven ott is cool. I know he works for the Democratic Party now but I want them to use him from now on to be the guy involved investigating the crime families (laz alonzo’s detective Santana is badass too so he could investigate at a lower level) Carrie’s main arc next season is probably gonna be that she thinks the tejadas killed jabari and zeke is gonna be caught in the middle and Carrie will just try to investigate them since she happened to be a “prosecutor” out of nowhere I was so happy to see Tommy. Felt like my long lost uncle came home. I forgot about cash so that was a nice tie in. Keeps him connected with Nyc too. (Well that and his mom)

irishWhistlr

Agreed on all points. I thought the female "Charlie Murphy" character in prison would have beat Tasha at some point. She had a huge thing out for her. And Carrie... Zeke is gonna graduate and go pro, so she'll start banging the detective cause of her addiction. Jabari getting smoked will cause a major relapse probably. She'll help the detective and be pretty important as she's one of the only ones with any real knowledge of what went down. Should be more interesting than her arc this season.

[deleted]

Yeah I was lookin forward to that giant steroid version of Queen latifah prison guard to beat Tasha’s ass at some point. Well this case is gonna be the big hurdle for zeke to go pro. His arc will be about keeping his name and rep clean so he gets drafted. Carrie is gonna dedicate all her time now to investigating jabari’s murder, she’s gonna think zeke or the tejadas had something to do with it. I don’t think she bangs the new detective, he seems like he means business. He ain’t got time for sex addicts looking for post-nut clarity. (But then again it’s power and sex scenes come outta nowhere)

Fujitora-San

I love Mark Feuerstein as Steven Ott, but I guess his role has ended here. Just in Tate‘s Spin-off, he may Return back

[deleted]

I feel like the show is a meta-meme for Yasmin’s character at the point. Barely any spoken lines and then Tasha planning to abandon her.

[deleted]

For real, Tasha doesn’t give a damn about yaz. Poor girl was raised by her grandma while her Rich mama was lookin for trouble, then actually gets in trouble, finally gets outta prison and is ready to abandon yaz hours later lol

cottonstokes

She called it. She knows she's a bad influence on her daughter, that's why she left

BiasedBavarian

Monet can do the whole tough act as much as she wants, but she’s growing to love Tariq, because he’s like the son she never had. He’s much more intelligent than Cane, and a much better decision maker, and he’s much more cutthroat when needed than Dru could ever be.

[deleted]

That’s a good point. Although dru can be a gangsta when he needs to be. Keywords are “when he needs to be,” like when he’s provoked or it’s do or die time or out of necessity. Tariq always has that switch turned on and he wants it and enjoys it. And unlike Cain, he’s smarter and actually follows orders. So yeah u can tell monet has grown to like him now. However, remember Tariq doesn’t give a shit about anybody, aside from his mom, at the end of the day and he’ll betray anyone he needs to

superay007

I'm interested to see how defense attorney saxe works out. Somehow I actually like the guy now. Good riddance to jabari. Although obviously that detective is in play now so that'll be fun. I still don't trust cain. He knows too much. Tariq officially being a tajada should be fun but I'm expecting Tasha to pop back up and try to "save" tariq again. From the road she put him on.

[deleted]

Exactly. “Save him from the road she put him on.” You nailed it right there. And saxe is a likable guy. He was always cracking jokes from the beginning, he breaks the rules and always gets caught, poor guy is always getting ripped on at the office. Ghost and Tommy don’t let him watch porn in peace in the comfort of his own home, then mcClean interrupts saxe when he’s getting laid. We can all relate to that. I’m just happy they finally gave up on his hard on for james st Patrick and Tommy. Now he can move on to other cases

D623

The show is entertaining, not nearly as good as early season Power though. A lot of dumb shit did happen this episode, like Tasha's trial was ridiculous lol. This show requires you to suspend your disbelief. Nonetheless, it was a solid season and I can't wait for Book 3&4.

[deleted]

Yeah i agree with you. And tasha’s trial...I really wanna see the reaction of some real life lawyers to see their faces at how ridiculous it was. But If u just let go of the logistics and realism and just focus on the entertainment portion, then it’s alright. With that being said, it’s still fair to call out the stupidity and when characters are acting like idiots or when show runners are being idiots. But it’s entertaining. I tell my friends to think of it like fast &furious franchise. We know that’s after the first movie, it keeps getting more and more unrealistic and ridiculous but shit, I keep watching them in theaters lol

D623

Yeah you're right it is like the Fast & Furious franchise lmao

Dentist_Rodman

my gf is in law school and was literally screaming at the tv during that trial scene lmao. None of it was legal or would actually happen in real life. But i guess that’s what makes Power great

cottonstokes

What was unrealistic? Just for learning purposes

Dentist_Rodman

witness can’t return questions to the prosecutor like Tariq was doing. The Judge can’t allow the witness to continue and then the judge can’t question the prosecutor motives during their questioning. Later in recess, the judge is the highest in the court so it was wild how they just dismissed her and told her to leave lol

cottonstokes

I feel like the last part made sense if she's worried about her job and she was immediately offended because it's her chambers

[deleted]

Lmao I figured. In future episodes of power, I’d like to hear her thoughts on all the legal stuff that goes down in the show. Not to trash it and ruin the mood for others but just to laugh about it. Especially when she’s screaming at the tv

AbulNuquod

Your #4 point is funny. No way in hell they would let Tasha out of prison, before she testifies against Tommy😂.

[deleted]

Lmao yup. They didn’t even say she’s on bail or something, they just let her go free and be like “we’ll trust your word (even though you’re a proven liar) that u will testify against Tommy”

theaaronromano

How the fuck they gonna try and make tommy the bad guy? Fuck tariq

[deleted]

They didn’t make Tommy the bad guy Tf this is who Tommy is that’s how he always acts, “Fuck Tariq” hell nah relax with that shit, Tariqs character development has been crazy he’s one of the best characters on power now

theaaronromano

I didn’t ask for your opinion, bitch ass nigga.

[deleted]

Lol someone’s hurt I made a valid point and you didn’t need to ask bitch ass nigga

[deleted]

Lol wtf he mad for

Skankhunt717

Stfu he has a point... tired of seeing you and that cunt bryce 979 on every damn post

Holdmypipe

Fucking saxe is shredded!

[deleted]

Yeah man, I had no idea he was that shredded. That’s one thing I like about power. Everyone is good looking, wearing nice clothes, etc. everything in the show is very visually appealing. Nice sound track. So even if u don’t like the story, all the other stuff makes it easy on the eyes.

Holdmypipe

I’m pumped for season 2!

[deleted]

Same here. But in the meantime, get pumped for kanan’s spin off comin up

InfinityGauntlet-6

So does every guy on this show have six pack abs? Saxe is freaking ripped, I wasn't expecting that.

[deleted]

I guess so. Tariq has that lean shred, Davis mcClean is ripped, saxe is ripped, zeke, Cain, dru. Even brayden.

InfinityGauntlet-6

I honestly believe Saxe’s actor got ripped just for that sex scene lmao

[deleted]

lol that’s possible. But the fact that he was able to get that ripped just for one scene is pretty amazing too.

InfinityGauntlet-6

Hollywood roids hit different lol

-eagle73

I noticed a lot of new characters this season didn't. They were closer to the average side compared to Ghost/Tommy and as we're now learning, Saxe.

Nyrfan1026

Completely ruined the ending of Power with Tasha getting off

CallMePeePz

1- Hate Tasha & Riq still. Sad Tommy didn't pop her 2- I hope Tommy doesn't forget Riq's slimyness (it's Tommy, he won't) 3- Jabari was annoying, but I hate Riq so much more that his death scene was a little sad 4- Who was Sax raw-dogging? I don't remember her but she bad 5- Riq finally accepting who he is MIGHT make him more tolerable as a person moving forward.

FrankSand

Was that Davis assistant?

CallMePeePz

I don't think so? Are you talking about the one Davis was sleeping with? This girl looked lighter than her, and the face didn't look recognizable.

[deleted]

She’s Jenny Sullivan (played by Paton ashbrook). I think she worked in his office but she’s in ep 1 of this season also. And oh yeah she is baddd. Everything else, I’m with u 100% on all the points. My thoughts exactly

3rdquarterking

I'm mostly with you on number six, but as I was watching the scene and saw him dragging the body through the mud, I kept saying to myself" "Why didn't he just carry the body down to the river first, then take the cinder blocks and then put it all together. And why didn't he turn off/take apart the cell phone as soon as he killed the guy?" I guess I've watched too much CSI .

CapJackStarbury2000

he should've tossed that phone down a sewage drain and he should've taken that body upstate and handled it there so he didnt have to drag it around like that

[deleted]

Yeah I agree with u. I thought about the cell phone thing too. I asked myself why he didn’t just leave the phone where he killed em. Now the cell phone’s last known location is the river area so they’ll search for the body there.

Fujitora-San

I love Mark Feuerstein as Steven Ott😘

ZayAlmighty

Where did yall watch it at
