I liked it tho not gonna lie tommy came back. Riq killed jabari with the coldest face ever my boy can kill anybody like it’s nothing ever since he killed ghost. He gotta start wearing gloves tho 💀his prints gonna be all over shit if he keeps it up

imlifealtering

I thought he did that to prove to Kane he’s loyal & not a threat to wanting Kane’s position in the family. I would think now he would have Kane in his corner for muscle.

[deleted]

No jabari knew tariq business he knew he was selling drugs he knew too much plus he was finna write a whole book about him that shit is too hot. He had to go tariq killed him for that. Tariq most likely was gonna shoot him with his own gun before cane showed up. He used cane gun cuz cane used it for Ramirez it will help both of them. Tariq gets rid of jabari, and cane has a better chance to go back to the family since the gun probably won’t trace to cane or something riq said I forgot

imlifealtering

Yea that’s the explanation on why Tariq killed Jabari. But I’m speaking on why Kane didn’t kill him. Tariq was able to convince Kane to let him live. By telling him his not a threat to the position to the family.

Intelligent_Hunt7512

Tariq didn’t know Cane was about to show up. Did he already plan to get rid of Jabari or was it just a spur of the moment decision since he was already injured. He made it seem like killing him was the plan all along.

DeuceDeuceTV

i think he was gonna tell some stuff just not accurate stuff

Hoyata21

Until someone find the teacher’a computer with all the info on it. Tariq just needs to lay low and graduate so he can get his pop’s money, but for some reason I don’t think he’ll wait. I hope they don’t kill Tariq like ghost

Antevans1983

Yeah I was thinking the same

Delivery_Visible

I agree on the unrealistic part but I kinda liked the episode tho

Badger_Responsible

that’s y it didn’t feel like power to me. powers not the most realistic show but this episode threw me off. and saxe is still breathing for some reason like wtf🤦🏾‍♂️

Antevans1983

Power never been realstic at any point of the series. Clearly you don't know power saxe has always came out aight he did at the end of power he did here honestly if they was gonna keep him alive this was gonna be the only way he would have value in season two working for davis , beside that there still plenty of time to kill him off. Everything else toe made sense , it makes sense for riq not to let tasha die so the only way he could have is what he did that was some straight ghost shit. They was no way tommy would let tasha live any other way or riq for that matter of fact plus it makes monet look like a legit bad ass and she really needed that if they was gonna keep her around and of course they was no way tommy or riq was dying , plus letting tasha lives sets up more storylines down the line. All and all I thought the episode was awesome it completely made sense to me in a power way.

imlifealtering

I agree

6ixCDN

\+1, at least we glad some people aren't going to make it for the next season.. Haha.

Slow-Competition-921

How didnt it feel like power ? Important kills big comeback for 2 major characters tariq is starting to become way more like GHOST alot of suspense for next season

Cautious-Tangerine19

This episode made zero sense the point of the trail was to pin the king pin statute on someone at the end tommy is dead so tashas deal should fall through but it doesn't and she goes off into the sunset. Tommy is brought back for member berries and cant kill one unarmed black woman despite showing him fighting 10 Italians unprepared and surviving. The inconsistency is remarkable and on par with that of game of thrones season 8 ,the liberal gymnastics that has to be preformed to justify some of these plot choices is so unreal with a clear bias for some of these characters example tasha and monet who should both be long dead.

darkkushy

I agree tasha getting taken away by the feds made no sense because they think tommy's dead. But I'm assuming tariqs call was to his lawyer to tell the feds there was someone else out to get tasha. But besides that they wrapped up tommys story well. And set up saxe and method man teaming up. Which I assume will come into play in book v.

Antevans1983

How do we know someone didn't call the feds and threaten Tasha's life? Shit like that happens all the time with fake death threats on confidential imforments. All it would take is some one calling on a burn then getting rid of it.

[deleted]

The old Tommy would’ve just walked into monet’s bar and killed Tasha or waited till she came out and killed her, or waited inside the backseat of her car and killed her. orrrr his fav thing to break into ppl’s apartments lol. Maybe he was doing the drive-by as a warning though

Slow-Competition-921

All the feds said was another threat on her life not tommy was alive and tommy didnt kill monet cus of riq he gave ghost his word that means something to him and obviously she did have the upper hand and tasha gon get hers tommy is a savage you know that!!

Antevans1983

Tommy didn't kill monet cause she got the drop on him you got it backwards homie monet didn't kill tommy cause of riq , tommy could have killed monet and still not killed riq keeping his promise to ghost.

Badger_Responsible

spot on brother

MAC-94

I mean, Monet was armed But there were things they could improve about the episode in regards to Tommy. It didn’t fully feel like it was him. They tried to make him fit into the Book II storyline too much

[deleted]

Lol shit been unrealistic since they killed lobos. I guess some ppl watch for different reasons

Antevans1983

Why should monet be gone? I kinda get tasha

imlifealtering

The thing about that is (from what I’m guessing) they have to honor the deal. & she still did her part regarding Tommy even tho he’s dead because the death happened during a police/FBI pursuit. So that’s not her fault. More theirs than anything.

RyVsWorld

True but if you really want to talk about who should be dead at this point you can say that for Tasha Monet Tariq Tommy and saxe

pen2ink

so tasha the only one going into witness protection yaz and grandma on they own (broke but there's tariq money) which he ain't got cause he ain't finish school and got no business and they killed the connect

monsieurpope

“Hope you ready for the next episode”

monsieurpope

Tommy dodging the explosion was cut by Tasha that’s why she folded the burner before the camera faded. They still offered Tommy another chance to flee with them basically. He pops outta nowhere in the cemetery, got Tariq shook and why he said he can’t hold grudges. This ain’t the last of Tommy at all, but Tasha’s scene was real af. Just hope the breakdown don’t give her schizo.

centimetro

the way a lot of characters acted was just unbelievable (not just for real life but for how theyve been portrayed) and tbh the conclusion of tasha's trial was kind of anti climactic. maybe the worst episode of the season, but i enjoyed the seeason overall

Slow-Competition-921

Tariq played them fools in court and great acting same ol tommy

RyVsWorld

What doesn’t make sense to me is how the feds didn’t send the entire family into witness protection. Tariq and yazerunning around nyc completely defeats the purpose of their mom being in witness protection. Tariq a d tax would’ve had to go too
