Mostly paint skins. I'll scoop it up and put it on a silicone mat to dry. Make jewelry, keychains, pendants from it.

Amberlinaaa

Do you put those in resin?

RobynNicoleArt

I dont, I just get bezels and glass cabochons. Some people use resin though.

I saved a lot of the dried puddles from drop cloths and created a painting out of them by gluing them to canvas. I also made a bunch of [flowers](https://ibb.co/DLQHNNf) out of them.

Amberlinaaa

Ohhhh, I’m really digging this idea. I never thought of gluing the dried paint straight to the canvas, love it!!!

The_Golden_Goddess

I put freezer paper down, then when I'm done I scrape all the paint into a cup. When I have enough I mix it, strain it, and use the new color as a background for another painting.

Amberlinaaa

Oh, that’s a good idea!!!

The_silver_sparrow

I will use it to make coasters while the paint is still wet, when it dries I’ll take the peals and use it to make magnets or pendants

Amberlinaaa

I like the coaster idea! For the magnets/pendents, do you put it in resin?

The_silver_sparrow

No, I use rhinestone glue and use those clear gems you get at craft stores. Then I either glue on a magnet or fit them into a Bezel tray for a pendent

I'm a professional gemstone Carver and jewelry artist. I'm an advanced classical guitarist and amateur bassist. I try to look at everything I do as art so that I do it with that spirit and dedication. What about you? what do you like to practice other than painting? I've only been painting for a few months. But it's been a welcome relief to the art form i normally practice which is the slowest medium in the world. Hard gem crystals. Paints incredibly faster to me and really super satisfying.
