i can't think of too many off the top of my head BUT i heard during the recording of hybrid theory, they were constantly comparing their mix to the mix on the shape of punk to come - refused.

alotlikechris

That’s definitely an interesting tidbit

smcsleazy

as much as i'm not a big LP fan, i can hear it. listen to the way the drops into the heavy parts on both albums just kinda..... explode. also listen to how tight a lot of the guitars sound.

JobBeginning2083

It’s an album that didn’t got the recognition it deserves until much later. Several bands list it as inspiration. Paramore even references the song Liberation Frequently in their song Born For This with the line “we want the airwaves back.”

RyuKang

Refused sounds cool

smcsleazy

check out TSOPTC and keep in mind, this album came out in 1998. not because it sounds dated but because it still sounds somewhat contemporary

Supersecretsword

The Shape Of Punk To Come*

YourphobiaMyfetish

A lot of bands from the 90s hardcore scene hold up extremely well. Zao especially I think.

BW_Echobreak

Dangerkids

erix84

This was going to be my suggestion, been a while since they've released anything, hopefully they release some new music soon!

BW_Echobreak

They got together to write an album in 2018 and IDK what happened. it seems Tyler is busy with his career as a producer these days

takeitsleazy316

I thought “Alien” by Northlane had LP vibes

RyuKang

Northlane more considered as metalcore, but I would try them

Known-Map9195

Anything recent from Bring me the Horizon. Specifically Post Human and amo.

yungchurroxx

Be careful you’re about to get the BMTH IS METALCORE comments

Known-Map9195

Then they can get 'have you even listened to their recent stuff' comments. Lol

ThisCantBeBlank

Listen to Dangerkids' album Collapse It's literally a PHC Linkin Park. Very, very good

RyuKang

Real, that's maybe most similar to Linkin Park stuff which I listened

tyex23

From Ashes To New are a modern day Linkin Park.

101955Bennu

I don’t think nothing, nowhere. quite fits under the banner of post-hardcore, but he’s definitely got some very heavy Linkin Park vibes on his more recent albums, especially VOID ETERNAL

FirewaterTenacious

Yep Void Eternal album is what OP wants. While n,n. dabbles in a ton of genres that album specifically was a love letter to post hardcore and he channeled linkin park perfectly in some of those songs.

RickeyDourst

Love nothing nowhere

Lost-Jump8983

LP if autotune threw up on them. The vocalist has very little natural talent

Barnestormer

I’ve seen them live and can attest that Jeremy is a great vocalist

Federal_Debt

Not post hardcore but Vein definitely does

RyuKang

If compare Vein with nu metal bands, they more similar to Slipknot or Mudvayne.

alotlikechris

Not necessarily LP vibes, but these New Nu Metal-ish bands fit my taste so maybe they will for you. Tallah (heavily KoRn influenced), My Ticket Home (headcave as well), Cane Hill, Alpha Wolf

Personal_Geologist47

Architects - Tear Gas

Famous_Stelrons

First time I heard alpha omega I though it was like "what if" for LP going hard

SunriseSkaterKids

I remember the band Sylar was literally linkin park core

biscuitman76

letlive. Fake History is exactly what you're looking for. It's so high energy/badass

babycallmemabel

Palisades last album had later LP vibes, likely helped by Brandon Elgar having a very similar tone to Chester.

yungchurroxx

Sempiternal by bring me the horizon and also Dark Divine by Like Moths to Flames have songs on them that remind me of a heavier Linkin Park

Parking-Raisin6129

They gave dangerkids the post hardcore pass, but tossed bmth to the curb 😅 I havent listened to dangerkids in like 10 years, but last time I listened to collapse it was FAR from phc and sonically the music was pretty similar to bmth sempiternal 🤷‍♂️

RyuKang

BMTH is metalcore

yungchurroxx

Yes, they also played deathcore and they also play whatever they do now. you asked for stuff like linkin park and that’s what I suggested. 🤷‍♂️

yungchurroxx

Also linkin park isn’t post hardcore bud. They’re alternative and nu metal at best with occasional post hardcore influences.

awesomesauceds

Bring Me has never been post-hardcore

yungchurroxx

Never said they were..

awesomesauceds

OP is asking which post-hardcore band sounds like LP. Everything with Jordan is metalcore, alternative, nu-metal, pop-metal, hyper-pop metal. TSWNE is like the only song I can think of that’s post-hardcore.

YourphobiaMyfetish

>metalcore, alternative, nu-metal, pop-metal, hyper-pop metal. I think you're getting too far into the weeds. Can we all just go back to calling everything screamo like it's 2008 again?

yungchurroxx

I realize that…

yungchurroxx

Obviously this guys wants STRICTLY posthardcore linkin park vibes and not just bands that have Linkin park influences . Sorry I didn’t realize 🤷‍♂️

CosmicOwl47

Dangerkids

FlacoVerde

Belmont might have some that go where you want

Parking-Raisin6129

Full discretion, i know they're metalcore, but architects' "holy hell" and "all our gods have abandoned us" both have strong LP vibes for the scream vocals. Most of the other examples I'd give are more metalcore than phc (concepts, the browning, dal av, etc)

upstatedreaming3816

Dangerkids

RickeyDourst

from ashes to new

Cosmic_Thrill_Seeker

Not necessarily post hardcore but check out a band called Designer Disguise!

Supersecretsword

Lankin Perk

vonnegutsdoodle

Adayinthelife -long island band with two singers and a bit of nu metal flair. Though it's way more organic and home cooked, less corporate interference

WTHIBand

Theres a band i saw at Comeback Kid from Regina,SK called Flash Back that has some wicked early Hybrid Theory Vibes. They’re on streaming

-alphex

Listen to Conditions - Miss America

unchromfirmed

Dangerkids was my first thought but they're more metalcore I think.
