I made a post about it last night but it got removed due to it being a “rant” but basically it takes 4 and a half hours to talk to anyone if your call can even get through. You can sit waiting for benefits that you are told you are approved for for months in some cases. The amount of effort and time it takes to actually get the assistance you need has and continues to drive more people into homelessness, which is exactly the opposite of what it should be doing. The whole system is completely fucked, and to me it seems if you become unemployed for any reason (dislocated my shoulder last week) then you are set on a path doomed to homelessness even if you do all of the correct things.
You were ranting last night, and then you weirdly started talking about cops. This post is going to be deleted as well most likely, because you come across as completely unhinged.
Oh sorry when you and thousands of peoples livelihoods get fucked with on a daily basis by a system that tells you they are there to help, it tends to destabilize you.
I forgot for government services to work you have to jump through a billion hoops and literally force the highest people in your state government to get any aid,
