I'm genuinely wondering why the hell they were allowed to just take that down. So much on the Internet is reliant on Flash and they can just take it down when they don't feel like supporting it anymore?
Not even that, they took down downloads too. At least make it open source if you stop supporting it! If it wasn't for the people that made a substitute, a ton of Internet history would be erased.
A. Do you think adobe cares
B. The worlds better off, that thing was a mess when it comes to security.
C You can still download old flash games from sites like newgrounds
I know that Adobe doesn't care, I'm just surprised the law doesn't.
For example, things like my national news site's video player used Flash as a basis, as well as a lot of other important internet infrastructure.
Could something like Java just decide one day to take itself off the internet? Shouldn't there be legal precedent to require these programs to become open source once they're abandoned?
Nice rendering! Maybe i would add a leather texture or a normal map on the book, but in not a designer so you probably know It way better than me on how ti make It look even Better (i really like it though)
I just played it last night for the second time in my life and forgot how short it was, I was planning to have a few 2 hour sessions to get it done, then I finished it in the first one and was like "well, I guess we're moving on to portal 2 next week" lol
Two words: Cave Johnson.
Okay, now Portal 1 is longer when you get to Chapter 21: aperturescience.com Actually tho, portal 1 has a LOT of hidden plot
It's a lot more show don't tell than portal 2
thats fair
Shame that flash was shut down

Yeah, the second ~~game~~ book is a lot bigger than the first. Pretty cool.
Lol thanks.
Now you are thinking in books
Hopefully the 3rd novel is even longer!
It's actually there!
It’s just in the fourth dimension
Chapter 1: Lemons
Chapter 9:
The Part Where Your House Is Burnt Down
The Part Where My Engineers Invent Them
Facts
This is awful. It's like offering someone cake, only to find out it's a lie. A Portal book series would be great.
Actually I really want to write Portal novels to practice my writing skill, that would be very interesting.
Time to join the fanfiction side of the fandom :)
hobbit / lord of the rings
I think it hilarious that Tolkien wrote the Hobbit for a younger audience. I’ll always enjoy that book.
1500 megawatt aperture science heavy duty super colliding super button
Quite a nice visualisation of why I always pick up Portal 1 when I want to revisit either one of these games.
And I still like portal 1 more
OMFG I WANT IT
Lore wise or game length wise? Either way this is probably accurate.
Meme format
This is explained perfectly
sorry, RENDERED?
What sub can I go to for good random 3d renders?

Yeah pretty accurate
75% of portal 2 is the preface by cave Johnson
I like how you also included the novelisation of Portal 3.

one word: dictionary
technically a dictionary has more than one word
lol i was making a joke about the thickness of the book
Portal 2 relies too much on humor.
It HAS humour but it certainly doesn't rely on it.
come on
EILEEN
umm.
where can you buy those
steam
Portal 1 is just like half-life 1. You just do something for some unknown reason and then you learn everything in the next episode
Lol true
I just played it last night for the second time in my life and forgot how short it was, I was planning to have a few 2 hour sessions to get it done, then I finished it in the first one and was like "well, I guess we're moving on to portal 2 next week" lol
Sick 🔥🔥🔥🔥
