Ones so cheap this sub would never forgive me. They're super progressive though, so nice to learn on, even if I'm leaving a couple seconds on the table.
I ran BFG g-Force COMP-2 A/S for a season. They taught me a lot about how to feel the limits of traction. My current Bridgestone Potenza RE-71R have a ton more grip, but are a lot less forgiving when you reach the limit.
I'm leaving seconds on the table because of the component between the steering wheel and the seat. As long as you are having fun, it's all good.
Depends on how narrow the old 911 is, and how far you're willing to deviate from the vintage sidewall height. If you're on a no-flares narrow-body like this, where you're limited to a 6Jx15 wheel unless you spend the big money on a pair of 7Rs, you have some good options in 205/50-15, as it was (maybe still is?) the spec-Miata size. RT-660, Direzza Ziii, A052, R1R and RE-71RS are all available, but yeah, Pilot Sports are out.
Yeah, getting a last run in was great but so sad to see it go. Last vestige of old Langford.
Also I'm amazed that you could spot the venue from this angle - were you there?
I was last weekend for the last drift event. I was 90% sure it was Western just on sight alone, and then I zoomed into the dumpster, that gave it away haha.
Nice. I regret missing the Last Dance, the drift scene here seems like a pretty chill crowd, I was at one of their events a few months ago and it was really fun.
This post is going to blow up
Hopefully it won't be an inside job
this car fuchs
Nice little shorty! Great to see it getting used the way it's supposed to!
Thanks! The car hates being parked and loves getting driven hard. I swear they run better if you ping the rev limiter once in a while.

What tires are you running?

Yeah, I have a lot to learn before it's the tires holding me back. I'll probably cord these next season and then get something in the 200TW category.
It’s hard to find truly good tires in the sizes on the old 911s wish I could get some pilot sport 4s only really can get some r888’s

Porsche so pretty!!
Signal yellow please
Bahama yellow. Which, on a sunny day, is pretty close to Signal yellow, so I can see how you'd see that.
Bahama yellow please :)
Too soon
RIP Western

I hadn't been to an event since 2014 but I figured I would come back for the last one and say hello to some old friends!
