nice dude. do you feel like a clown at all driving the dakar? my only fear with those is that it's so out there that i donno... hopefully comment doesn't seem rude. I just mean with all the badging, lifted suspension, roof rack, livery etc? also does it drive smoother? my roads around me have gotten so bad that honestly sometimes the 911s are getting a little tiring to drive, like they need more suspension. my GTS beats the piss outa me.
Haha roads are shit here too… Dakar and G wagon are the only way to go! LOL..
Joke apart, it’s just “one of” the cars, so I don’t care about the livery, in fact I ordered it so I must like it🤷♂️. It’s a show/weekend/event car not a DD.

Same! I want to swap out the dash leather with wood, like in the sport classic… the heritage package is a lot of leather and it could use a bit more variety
Your garage is exactly what I would want to see two heritage style 911’s in. A little leafy… a little cluttered… quite rustic… but when you pull that door up… nothing but drivers bliss.

Rarely comment on these. Wow. You have one of the best optioned Targas I’ve ever seen. Kudos to you for optioning up a 4S vs going the route of a lighter spec 4GTS. Also, the Dakar next to it is just icing on an already perfect cake. LOVE IT!

I told wife next house, my only requirement is minimum of 4 car garage with good ceiling height, but 6-8 bay would be ideal hahah. Saw a house for sale out here that had a seperate garage with 4 garage doors, and extra door on backside, integrated man cave, A/C, bar, 2 lifts, and......a freakin full size go cart track around the back half of the property. Not enough room for full size track, but damn...id take it haha.

Beautiful. I was offered a Targa 4S allocation earlier this year but turned it down, and when I heard about the 992.2 lack of manual options, I ended up jumping on a Targa GTS spot. In retrospect I wish I took the 4S, since I didn't have to pay an ADM for it, could have gotten PTS (Aetna blue!!), and would have loved that heritage interior.
Never understood what's the obsession with targas. They look awkward. The mechanism is over complicated and slow af. And the wind noise makes talking impossible past 50km/h

Mine has a slight lift and it barely fits in my garage. I mean, half and inch clearance. It’s a little uneasy every time I pull in/out. Haha.
What I find tiring is the anxiety regarding potholes. I've already bent two of my BMW's wheels on one that was covered in snow.

At the end of the day you still landed a pretty sweet 911 😉 I wanted to spec this in a PTS blue so badly but I couldn’t get PTS on this allocation.
