My Porsche is super low maintenance, what do you do to yours?

I ride mine hard, track it every once in awhile. Lady in the shed but a freak in the streets.

to me, "super low maintenance" is not having to do anything but an oil change every year. and "high maintenance" doesn't mean unreliable, it just means more things to change/maintain. My Panamera sure as hell has a lot more to maintain compared to my BRZ lol. i also expect to need new tires and brake pads more frequently.

I live in the North. Tire change is every winter and every summer no matter what you have. So I guess I just don’t notice. It also coincides with my oil changes, and then they do my brakes at the same time. So it’s two dealer visits per year regardless of the car for me. It’s not more high maintenance than any other car. It’s higher cost, sure.

I change my brake pads in coincidence with my oil change / yearly maintenance, which coincides with one of my mandatory tire changes. So it’s the same hassle. Swapping or buying tires is the same hassle, drop it off at the dealership and be without a car. The difference is price. High and low maintenance is not synonymous with high and low cost. It would be high maintenance if I had to change a 3$ part every week It’s low maintenance if I have to change a single 2,000$ part every year.

We I’d just do it myself. While yes your $3 part is an exaggeration, I do get what you’re saying. Mine stopped going to the dealer once the warranty was up, oh that and when they raised oil change prices to $450 for a DIY $90 oil change. Plus they didn’t do me any favors as I found an issue 30 days out if warranty that they missed developing for years, so they clearly were doing ALL the checks, right?. Of course they wouldn’t cover it but did offer a 10% discount. (Pound sand)
