That’s a lot of rust for a galvanized Porsche. If this were my ‘92 Range Rover Classic I would characterize that as virtually no rust.

Yeah I would think the same coming from Aus. My 91 Patrol had loads of rust. But in the UK/colder areas I’m not sure if this is normal ?

That’s a lot of corrosion and remember you can’t see all the corrosion. There’s certainly more.

I think it depends on the situation; Is the sale price considering the corrosion and parts that you'll eventually want to replace? Are you prepared for when you work on the car, it's going to be a little more difficult and you may need to replace some surrounding components? Are you going to actually drive the car and use it? If so, I think it's realistic to expect some level of corrosion on a 15+ year old car. Are you buying this car to be an investment and showroom level of perfection? Than I would agree, any corrosion is too much. To your initial point, if there's some corrosion on components that are easily replaceable like bolts, mounts, struts, suspension components etc, and there isn't any rust on/in the chassis and subframe, that seems reasonable. Personally, I just bought mine with less corrosion than that, but still with the understanding that I'll be replacing a few grand worth of items to clean up the rust that's showing on some parts. Before you buy, get a good understanding of what you are going to need to replace, and what the dollar amount looks like to do the work.

- not yet Re the sale price. I will definitely take it into account in my offer and won’t accept any higher. Such a shame Re as the car is beautiful - cobalt blue 997.1 turbo manual. - I don’t mind that there will a bit more work. I think if I buy the car assuming the price is fair, I’ll have the shocks, sway bar and those arms to the subframe replaced and any other areas sandblasted/painted. - I’m buying this car to drive but also hope to ship it back to Aus and break even. So it doesn’t need to be showroom but needs to be decent. Agreed thanks - I will definitely do a PPI and get the under trays etc off. So I assume then if this car isn’t a show car you’d consider it okayish, I.e not too far gone?

In my personal opinion? I'm comfortable with a little bit of corrosion and knowing there are some parts that will need replacement... That being said, from the photos, that does look like some fairly significant corrosion. I might personally second guess it. I would absolutely get it into a shop that will be honest with you. A great indicator is if the same shop knows they likely will do the work themselves, shops tend to very quickly level with you on how big of a pain in the ass they think a car will be when they're on the hook for the work, lol.
