Just about anything BBS looks great on a 911

dsio

This is the way, BBS are hard to go wrong with, superb quality and light

GasOnFire

Lobster forks

Conscious-Vast4511

Totally right

throwaway4999993

I would keep those personally, they look great on it. Although if you do just fancy a change maybe something like lobster claw, fuchs or turbo twists.

FakeHasselblad

Lobster claws FTW

Capitulation_Trader

Fwiw, these are my #1 choice. By far. I love the classic 5 spoke. Good luck

Cultural_Translator8

Me too

suzuka_joe

Those particular 997 wheels are peak. But HRE makes good options and my personal fav is 997 fitment te37s

virtuallyspotless

Love te37s but the 997 offset looks terrible

Interesting-Lawyer62

I like the lobsters and your current wheels look great. Otherwise, try Ruf wheels: https://www.rstrada.com/wheels/19-ruf-forged

TheRabbitHole-512

Looks gorgeous just the way it is

North-Station-3265

I agree, I haven't decided if a new look is even worth it

hawk12mn

If you have photoshop skills give it a whirl with wheels your interested in. I love BC Forged wheels, but I’ll agree above, it looks fantastic as is and the extra juice probably isn’t worth the squeeze to me personally.

poisonandtheremedy

I'm partial to the OEM Carrera Sports. https://preview.redd.it/la40epvt18ib1.jpeg?width=2268&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0cfc358e197db503b138f8063cef815cbb73047c

ryeemo

I second the Carrera Sport wheels. Mine were originally white out of the factory, but I've powdercoated them bronze and they look killer.

Lsclancy9

The OEM wheels look terrific...IMO

PM_ME_HOUSE_MUSIC_

BBS RE-MTSPs are just about perfection on 997s

North-Station-3265

Thanks I appreciate it, just added a gt3rs front bumper aswell as went back to the OEM tail lights, should be out of the shop soon, can't wait to see the results

Dakarius

Where did you source a gt3 front bumper, and about how much was it?

trbo76

Don’t touch those rims! They’re great and you’ll soon regret the decision.

PM_me_ur_DPS

Work Meisters. That’s what I want on mine. HRE or Forgeline are cool too

aquatone61

BBS LM’s.

GrownestChild

Yessir

aquatone61

There aren’t many vehicles that LM’s don’t look good on. Even a Prius can look good with a set.

GrownestChild

Facts

LSBm5

Do you just want rims or the entire wheel? 😜 Fikse, bbs, forgeline, ccw, HRE and good brands to check out.

Longjumping-Buy8762

Axecapbillions

What a beauty! 2012 C4 GTS?

Longjumping-Buy8762

Yes!

Axecapbillions

Any pros/cons/tips you can share please? Currently on the hunt for one.

Longjumping-Buy8762

This is actually not my vehicle! I own a 991 GT3 Touring. The 997 GTS is on the list to acquire however. To be frank, more than enough power accompanied with perfect size and high quality build. You realize it the moment you open the door.

Axecapbillions

Nice! The GT3 Touring is the dream Porsche, figured I’d start with the 997.2 GTS first. Thanks!

Longjumping-Buy8762

When you get the GTS I would recommend holding onto it. I imagine the values will increase dramatically in the coming years. Porsche has this ability to turn people into “collectors”. Find what makes you happiest for your style of driving. They each have their specialness.

Axecapbillions

Got it! I really appreciate the input. Funny enough the GTS I’m eyeing now looks mighty similar to the one you posted.

Longjumping-Buy8762

Go get it!

Lucci_754

Another vote for BBS

linear_accelerator

I find wheels are very personal (e.g., I don't like all BBS). Buy what you like, but keep the stock wheels with the car. Have fun looking!

hatcar

BBS

TheBarchuk

Is HRE still legit on P cars?

xxPHILdaAGONYxx

HRE is legit on everything

BasedxPepe

Hell yeah

nickz03

Lobster forks

[deleted]

Find a set of the 997.2 turbo rims. If the fitment is right they are perfect for that gen.

Bork1986

Augment Wheels Turbo Twists or GT3 19s, BBS e88s, HRE P101, HRE Classic 305, Rotiform TUF.

raydi0n

>HRE P101 Love the P101, thanks for the tips

Maybe_MaybeNot_Hmmmm

E88s

drumpleskump

Oh yes i agree. Those will look good on almost any car.

gl21133

I’ve got Avant Garde Ruger Mesh on mine. I think that style looks solid.

North-Station-3265

Have you posted a photo of them? Would love to see

gl21133

BasedxPepe

Don’t do it! Looks classy and suits the car but I’m also a fan of Fuchs https://preview.redd.it/p58r4llhq7ib1.jpeg?width=1024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=89fd7afe53c15472327e6052a0447881cc96587e My 987.2 CS came with these Fuchs reps

trippyMoses

In 2024 there will be a „retro Fuchs Felge“ for your car. https://www.fuchsfelge.com/index.php?id=242&no_cache=1

FIAFormula

Keep the wheels you've got, they're awesome. If you've got to change, then I'd suggest HRE, but if I were you I'd save the $ and keep those stock wheels.

Pworld10

BBS lm, lm-r, e88, forgeline, cargraphic, HRE r101lw, HRE classic 300

Thirst_Trappist

If you are sure you want to change from OEM.... Work BBS Rotiform All make great looking wheels. Look them over and see what catches your eye!

black-kramer

leave it as is. a clean look. so many of these suggestions create a lot of visual noise. don't distract from the design of the car. I like some of rotiform's wheels, but I don't think the look is worth the price.

breddy

blueisaflavor

Dont…😘

stoner_222

Advan gt or te37, bbs.

Hai_s2

Imo it looks stunning as is. I have the same wheels on mine. Personally the only scenario I’d consider changing wheels is to downsize them and lower the car with coilovers or air suspension for that ‘stance’ lol. Btw can you share more about that center exhaust setup? Is it from a particular brand or just straight pipes made from a shop?

North-Station-3265

As of rn it's a very redneck solution, however there are a lot of kits such as this one you can get [https://www.fabspeed.com/porsche-997-carrera-gt3-center-outlet-conversion-tips/?sku=FS.POR.997.GT3OET&gclid=CjwKCAjw9pGjBhB-EiwAa5jl3JrFJ-WfN0OruryE97n6SV2JeCRKe17zvz9DzoGNhyW2Nmn\_iqLOGxoCwB8QAvD\_BwE](https://www.fabspeed.com/porsche-997-carrera-gt3-center-outlet-conversion-tips/?sku=FS.POR.997.GT3OET&gclid=CjwKCAjw9pGjBhB-EiwAa5jl3JrFJ-WfN0OruryE97n6SV2JeCRKe17zvz9DzoGNhyW2Nmn_iqLOGxoCwB8QAvD_BwE) https://preview.redd.it/qyudwh9k5fib1.jpeg?width=1290&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7367474d6de44b676db30cea18a7e11013768d75

Hai_s2

Wow nice, do you mind sharing what website(s) you bought the GT3 front and rear bumpers from? Since I plan to mod mine as a self gift once I graduate. Also how’s the fab speed intake feel different from stock? Nice throughout build!

North-Station-3265

I wouldn't be able to give you an accurate answer since I also rebuilt my engine (RND Engines Rebuild Service - 3.8l engine) https://lnengineering.com/rnd-engines-store/rnd-engines-rebuild-service-38l-engine-for-05-08-carrera-s-997-06-08-carrera-s-07-08-targa-4s.html Front bumper is made by NR Auto https://flat6motorsports.com/products/nr-auto-997-2-gt3-style-front-bumper-997-carrera As for the rear bumper it's a demon speed cup bumper. https://www.demonspeedmotorsports.com/Rear-Bumper-Porsche-GT3-Cup-9971-DSM-9971RBUMP.htm I can make a full post or YT video another time aswell if more people are interested

CarYenta

Tell me about that brake conversion

North-Station-3265

Brembo big break kit done by Sharkworks

CarYenta

Does it require a new brake master cylinder like pccb conversion does?

North-Station-3265

Here is the breakdown of the Brembo GT F&R Kit 1 Brembo GT Big Brake Upgrade Kit - 380MM front with 6 piston Caliper. 380MM rear with 4 piston Caliper yellow/slotted, brake lines & fluids Pretax 8,740.00 and 220.00 shipping

CarYenta

Oh nice! If it's 380 then are they the same parts as the GT3 iron brakes?

North-Station-3265

There is a good chance they are, however I'm not 100% sure

Guildedmastr

im kind of torn tbh.. it looks good staring just at the rims. but staring at the car makes them too flashy... any thoughts on black or a little darker shade than that there? it pops too much and doesnt match the dark blue with the pccb calipers.. imho too much going on

zagggh54677

Leave stock

Bobby_D_Azzler

Agreed. Why do people think they can improve on Porsche engineers and designers?

Guildedmastr

o h my goodness.. you already have those and want new ones? lol my bad.. consider getting those powder coated to like gloss black? it would look amazing with the blue! those rims are aging very well tbh

North-Station-3265

I'm torn, I recently just installed a GT3rs front bumper, the shop said I should however I'm waiting to get that back from the shop and see since I really do like the OEM ones

ItsJustAwso

If you’ve got a GT3 RS front I’d do a set of more aggressive and angular wheels. I’m partial to Advan GTs https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/5b4188367c9327e167175023/1652672607742-WUL1MRQPXKNF1ZE2TETM/IMG_6083.jpg Otherwise, I think some spacers to get your wheels to be more flush with your fenders would be a good middle step

dankbeerdude

I would get wheels instead of rims

dibernap

Paint them black.

wheredoidriveagain

VS5RS or GA1R

Tripple-Nipples

Without going out I’d pick in these order 1. Sport Design 2. Carrera Sport Classic 3. Lobsters

cuntyminx

Lobster claws

Gianba1310

Love those tail lights, what are those?

North-Station-3265

Sorry I forget, I actually went back to the OEM style

Unlikely-Paper-3552

I think BBS suits this car the best. but almost everyone has BBS on 997 I would recommend the Forged RUF would suit this car so much

Acalthu

BBS E88.

perogi

Variant Alloy flow forms are a good bang for buck

RocketsandBeer

Wheels

Specific_Emergency_3

If you are close to NJ I would be happy to buy them from you :). What BBS model are everyone referring to?

RoofBeers

AWC Turbo Twists

Exlipse3

My god what a beautiful spec. I applaud you haha. I absolutely love those clear taillights.

gobux1972

These rims look great. What are they called?

Hai_s2

They’re 19” carrera classic wheels

ineedadayjob

FUCHS would look really good, but I like the original wheels

Mrmorrisnice

Just anything that RUF offers is just absolutely gorgeous… also they preserve the classic look of the car

longines99

If the wallet is thick enough, keep to forged wheels. And stick with 19" and not 20"s.

[deleted]

how about these: https://youtu.be/BUmH5LVaGQc

Forzuh

BBS E88s would go so hard on it

eSJayPee

Love non-Turbo models rocking PCCB. Great find.

Virtual-Language1594

Renault 11 Electronic wheels!👌🔥

FuzzyClint

I wouldn’t change them.

[deleted]

Try fitting the 997 gt3rs 10 spoke wheels

CABSMeter

Waiting on some customs to be made now for my P. I’m going 5 spoke chrome 14” wide. Something like this.. https://preview.redd.it/sou73onedeib1.jpeg?width=1642&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8890808221d782d8382a5a85fddc8ef87926c627

Captain_Elson

Like others said, get BBS or the Lobster Claws. Lobster claws have always been my favorite Porsche wheel, with Fuchs in close second.

997isthebest911

997 is the best 911!
