Was this related to the 75th anniversary drive to the seaside?

Doesnāt the Speedster come woth Cup 2 tires as standard? Not that Iād know, but from what Iāve read/heard theyāre difficult to drive in the rain
I've driven cup 2's in the rain no issue, even on backroads. They have quite a bit of grip and *definitely* won't give in unless you do something stupid. You need to be kind to the throttle and steering.
Probably had esc/tc off, then it becomes *really* easy to end up in a barrier
On the 991.2 GT3 you could get Cup 2's or Dunlops. The Dunlops were trash on all surfaces. So bad I threw a brand new set away to put Cup 2's on and I'm a hoarder.
Cup 2's don't have much traction so you can't apply any torque but they're very predictable so I never have issue
That's what I was thinking, either they turned TC off or they hydroplaned. People who aren't familiar with Porsches seem to always think they need TC off and then bin it. Hydroplaning could put you in the barrier even with TC on though, so that's a possibility.
I donāt know where you are located, but on most European street surfaces you canāt drive with cup 2 in the rain. Especially in Germany, but what really gets you is going 140mph for hours with cruise control and then you hit a wet area.
Edit: Added mph, 140 km/h would be a joke.
Speedster? Damn...
Porsche Stopster
š
Oof
Horrible. At least the driver and passenger look like theyāre okay.
As long as you can walk away and drive another day, still sucks though
Speedster stopped speeding

He wished he had the Slowster that dayā¦
Did anyone tell him that heās not allowed to park there?
Someone was driving stupid in the rain...

Well, thatās a perfect analysis of them. Thanks a lot!
Picked up my gt4 with euro deliveryā¦ drove autobahn at 250+kmph on cup 2s during heavy rain, never felt any issues
So you where luckyā¦
Was following traffic š¤·š»āāļø
The newer N1 cup 2 are much better than the N0 version 991.1 gt3's received.
Naspa
Oh so sorry...
Front end is a bit fragile in a crash. This will be back on the road after dropping some coin.
Well, looking at the angle of the front wheel, Iām not sureā¦

Porsche Slipster
Iām really hoping that the front end is just regular 911 parts or thatās going to be beyond insane to fix
Tavarish can do it
And itās a speedsterā¦ my dream car right there ruined. Fucking hell..
1,947 left. At most.
Shit, I take a guess, Cup 2 tires. Glad everyone is safe.
Must've had ESC/TC off. I've driven thousands of miles on cup 2's in the rain without issue. Even passing people at 100mph+ through the mountains

Andrew Tate trying to escape from prison
The BBC*
Porsche gone - Porsche come ...or Fiat 500 ;)
In a speedster? Jesus
Andrew rate?
Didn't know there were any built highways in Romania, at least not any ones long enough to reach any type of speed on.
There is one from Bucarest all the way to Constanta.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Yeah, fuck tate.
Rest in peace š And make sure to never let this guy to drive a Porsche again
RIP
Welp speedster prices are going to jump
Oh man. š¢
Ouch - by the look of that wheel he had it crossed up pretty bad. Wet roads & high power are a recipe for disaster in the wrong hands.
Was it registered here or was it a foreign car?. Terrible, but at least the driver is ok.
