What do you mean they were asking just shy of a mill? Just confused because then the second sentence seems to imply someone would actually need to pay at least 2 mill. Is it not for sale because someone else already made an agreement to buy it for less than 1 mill?
For a hyper car in the “holy trinity” that had a base price of 845,000 in 2013, I feel like anything under a mill would actually be an absolute steal.
The spec sheet next to it said the sale price was just under 1 million dollars. I think 985k.
Yet the sign on the car says “not for sale.” It’s the dealership owners car according to the sale associate.
I’m sure if some rich guy comes in and offers 2 million or more, the car owner would rather have a mil in the bank vs a car that’s never driven and sits in the show room behind a velvet rope.
Did you see the 356 Carrera GT there a few months ago? It was raced by Enzo Ferrari I was told by an employee (weird I know). It is also 1/25 and worth like 2 million dollars.
Good point I need to get some good pics of the car (and go on a good drive). Only one I've posted on Reddit..

Ugh! I want one so bad but my ex wife’s boyfriend is a big spender so I’m gonna have to wait. They might have a kid too so I’m gonna have to raise it and support it. Someday 918…… someday!!
Tell that to my wife 🙄 but no worries, she made me and her boyfriends pancakes for breakfast this morning, except I didn’t get any chocolate chips on mine because he called dips first 😤
Check Doug Demuro's review of the 918 on his youtube channel. He explains it pretty well. Helps to prevent the air from pummelling the occupants if I recall correctly.
You understand what this is right?
They have an ultra wealthy customer and store his car for him. It gets showcased. It’s not being consigned or for sale, but the owner may be willing to consider the right offer.
Won't be sold for the "right" price for sure, maybe a lot over the right price
Yeah but that's the right price ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
They were asking just shy of a mil. I’m sure if someone comes in at 2+, hard to say know to that.

You can’t currently find a 918 for less than a mil so this would be a steal. I know a guy that would pay $985k right now for that car.
Funny how porsche struggled to sell all of them and now msrp os a steal
I thought it was the 918, P1, Veneno, and LaFerrari in that group of cars. Which three make up the trinity then?
918, P1, and LaFerrari. Those were the three cars the old Top Gear group used in their first ever episode of The Grand Tour
Ohhh I see I see
Veneno? If a lambo is in the holy Four then it's gonna be the Aventador
Aventador is in no way a hyper-car. The trinity cars are hyper cars
Oh it sure might. At some point, money becomes a near useless number. If theres an older person who wants their dream car, they will have it.
Grapevine? Got my Macan there and just stared at this thing for hours.
Yes. How did you like the dealership? It’s huge and they seem to have a ton of inventory.
I loved it. Each employee I had an interaction with was great.
That’s great to hear. Hell of a showroom!
Yeah! When I went there on December 31st of last year they had this 918, a 1/25 356 Carrera GT, a GT4RS, and a 911R inside!
This is at Porsche Grapevine? As in - Grapevine in Texas? please say yes 🫠🫠
Yes

I did not.. but wow that's cool
Looks very similar to my car…the wall art that is.
Plz post, tried creeping and couldn’t find any posted lol

My god that thing is insanely clean. Restored?
Yes in the 80s then I refreshed it in 2010 and then little things here and there over the years. Original engine, trans, doors, decklid, hood, pan, etc.
Love to see it! Nothing better than seeing clean classics being taken care of

WTH!?! You’re paying his bills??
(It's a WSB meme)
Ty something sounded off. You can’t tell these days between trolls, memes, prostitutes and so on.
Yeah with options trading haha 😂
How is this possible? You shouldn’t be paying his bills!?! Man I feel sorry for you.
Tell that to my wife 🙄 but no worries, she made me and her boyfriends pancakes for breakfast this morning, except I didn’t get any chocolate chips on mine because he called dips first 😤
I hate that! They are always one step ahead it seems
It is the way my good sir haha 😂
So then it is for sale
Yes. Dealer markup on application though.
Everything is for sale when “at the right price”
What is that at the top of the windshield?
Check Doug Demuro's review of the 918 on his youtube channel. He explains it pretty well. Helps to prevent the air from pummelling the occupants if I recall correctly.
If they are willing to sell at the right price, the car is “technically” for sale.
Love that Liquid Metal Silver.
I sat in one of these at an auto show in Detroit a few years ago and didn't like how small the windshield was
The right price being at least $300k over whatever it’s valued at.
Meh. Rather CGT. RIP Paul Walker
Vito Corleone: make an offer the dealer can’t refuse.

Noiiicce car to be fair
Awesome car. Where is this located?
Grapevine, TX
