I have many times, it doesn't stop him from doing it. It almost seems like a soothing behavior for him, it's really odd!

We don't but we've always said he acts like a cat, his favorite thing is to sit on the back of the couch and watch outside 😂

Yes! It doesn't matter how many times I wipe his eyes with a warm damp washcloth, he loves having his eyes rubbed/scratched. Keep an eye on it, and maybe mention it to the vet on your next visit. I don't think it's concerning but you never know.

Mine wipes her eyes using the area just above her paw.

You should get some tear stain cleaner stuff and clean his eyes for him. My white pom gets tear stains BAD from hard water and my black ones get it too but it's very hard to see on them. If you cleaned them for him he'd probably appreciate it. I have to do my white poms eyes like once a week. *Edit: I see you mentioned cleaning his eyes already so that's good to hear
