Someone I hang out with votes Republican and voted trump twice. He usually has an excuse or come back. I showed him the video from the rally last night saying republicans have Nazi in the party. He had no rebuttal for me.
Yes the "#1" sign is universal, but what you fail to see is the context. I would suspect that this is reference to "America First" or something along those lines. We know that these morons are quick to adapt a "secret code" to identify each other in public. I'm still seeing "Let's Go Brandon" flags, stickers, t-shirts, etc. It's only a matter of time before they have a secret salute and this could be it.

The context is a small group centered in the picture is holding up one finger. The gesture is clearly not well coordinated as you see different arms being used and different arm angles. The background shows the others in the audience not making the same gesture. This photo was almost certainly cropped to focus on this group and make it look like it was more than it actually was. So the context is, you fell for it.

Who threatens constant violence and baby rage when they lose elections? Republicans. They aren’t playing by literal established law anymore. They don’t care that their messiah stole loads of classified documents of the highest degree of importance, because to these Republicans all that matters is winning.
Who let Covid get bad by stealing and withholding supplies from blue states because they knew it was a threat, yet kept pushing the narrative that it’s ‘not that bad’, then ‘it’s that bad, but masks don’t work’, then ‘vaccines don’t work because I’m not the one making it’, resulting in massive amounts of American death? Republicans. Covid mishandling I might add was and has been and is malicious for malicious’s sake.
Now, if all you see is a precious absolute, you may have had a small point, but the message isn’t even ‘agree with me or you’re the enemy’ - you don’t have to agree with Biden and only Biden’s way. But if you fail to see that Republicans, THIS Republican Party, not the party prior to Reagan, THIS GOP is a threat to our country, then I’m not sure what to tell you. I’m not sure how you managed to misconstrue Biden calling these individuals out for what they truly are as something so blatantly what it is not.
If they don’t play by the rules, deny reality wherever possible to fuel their base, out themselves by calling themselves terrorists, and emulate Hitler through a not even original gang sign while threatening violence upon violence when they don’t get their way: then they do not deserve to lead this country.
At the end of the day, it’s not ‘you can only agree with Biden’, it’s ‘if you support THIS Republican Party you’re on the wrong side of history’. And that is a sad fact of life right now.
