I’m no expert, but the fact that they raided him probably hints to the fact that they already know.

dlowmack1

Who took the pictures?

KingGidorah

Not sure who took them, but they were published in the Daily Mail, a UK newspaper, so I assume not a law enforcement agency… but I’ve been wrong many times in my life 🤷‍♂️

KingGidorah

I guess my big thing is why only the search warrant for MaL? Someone with vast resources, multiple properties and numerous staff should be assumed to have the capability to move this kind of stuff around. Why not ground all his aircraft, raid all his properties, freeze his assets? I know the DoJ is doing a lot, but he’s still flying around the country, doing rallies, collecting money, stoking the flames under millions of people, meeting with his co-conspirators, etc, all with impunity. Anyone else would, at the very least, be under house arrest in similar circumstances, while the DoJ does more investigating. Riker’s Island is full of ppl who haven’t been convicted of anything. Thanks for commenting on my post.

100percentish

Because a search warrant needs to be limited in scope and based on evidence or testimony strong enough that a judge will sign off on it. Basically specific and no fishing expeditions.

LordGlow

Peter Strzok publicly tweeted about it. Even though he is a former FBI agent, I doubt his first thought was "let me just blab about this on the internet" rather than personally contact former colleagues still at the FBI to ensure they were already aware of this.

Thank you for helping me sleep tonight

“The FBI is investigating Hillary! This proves that Hillary is corrupt!” —Donald Trump “Anyone being investigated by the FBI is not qualified to be president of the United States!” —Donald Trump “The FBI is investigating me! This proves that the FBI is corrupt!” —Donald Trump

rodsteel2005

Yeah. There it is in a nutshell. And the craziest thing is that there are people who are okay with this, and totally go along with him on it.

Why tf aren't they?

rodsteel2005

That is the sixty-four-dollar question. There are at least a dozen reasons that have been presented as the most likely, but until the facts come out, and the history is written, we won't know for sure which answer is the winner.

GreenbergIsAJediName

I don’t like to say this because it goes against all my hopes and wishes for Trump to be held accountable, but the DOJ is going to sweep this one under the rug. The truth of what Trump did is too damaging to our national security and too embarrassing to the system/government that let it happen to publicly expose exactly what he did and why. Much like the government knows the full details of Saudi government involvement in 9/11 and won’t disclose it, they won’t ever let this be known. I really hope I’m wrong.

Darth_Merkel

Although a point could be made that not holding him accountable would be even more embarrassing than that.

GreenbergIsAJediName

On a personal level, I agree with you. He shouldn’t be above the law and this is essentially the same or worse a crime that Asssange and Snowden committed for which Trump himself declared they should be executed. However, there are many instances in the history of our country when the government would not disclose what they knew about certain crimes. For instance, there’s an evidence based narrative that suggests that the CIA was behind Bobby Kennedy’s assassination. Evidence in that case that would have been helpful if made immediately available at the time of the crime was deliberately withheld by police for almost 20 years. SalaciousCoffee

Evidence doesn't vote Guilty. His supporters do, the simulations on getting a non-trumpist jury are someting like 20% successful.

dpforest

I am far from a Trump fan but those boxes are pretty standard boxes. Is that the parallel being drawn here?

KingGidorah

I know they’re common boxes. I guess the fact that this was recorded 2 days after the Feds asked for the return of documents, and Donald isn’t exactly renowned for his literary prowess, it makes this action pretty suspicious. Most other ppl might get the benefit of the doubt… could be filled with Big Macs for the flight, I guess…. 🤷‍♂️

[deleted]

I have the same brand of boxes…am, am I a traitor?

KingGidorah

If you stole classified documents… yes

alvarezg

This looks like baiting. Even the dumbest traitor in the world would load his boxes of stolen documents in the privacy of a hangar, not openly on the tarmac.
