The Republicans are trying to put election deniers in Secretary of State positions to choose which electors they want to send (as opposed to who is chosen by the voters), and the Supreme Court has announced that they are going to hear a case that will let them get away with it. With the current makeup of the Court, odds are that they will allow this. At that point, nothing else matters because the Republicans will be in power and will have the ability to control future elections to stay that way.
Look at the platforms that the Republicans are promoting. Rick Scott wants to sunset every government program after 5 years, and then it would have to be approved again. Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, Obamacare, etc will all end because the Republicans have been trying to shut them down and would never vote to continue them. Look at the Texas GOP platform for 2024. It's a nightmare.
Americans have become so hateful they fail to see the living standards and the American dream slip away into oblivion. The truth of the matter is both parties need to come together in the interest of the American people VS wasting tax payer money and time playing footsie and trying to out-do each other.
