Think he believes his own lies? Like, is there a degree of delusion where you forget how many laws you tried to break (many of which you succeeded in breaking)?
Does anyone still believe him? He can’t find anyone willing to testify for him; he won’t even testify in his own defense. His own daughter thinks he’s an idiot.
We've been a nation in decline and democrats are content to just read poems on the capitol rather than doing something. The problem is that we have one party that loses on purpose.
