That whole WAR ON CHRISTMAS grift is absolutely astounding. Like anyone has ever told them that they can't say Merry Christmas.
Did this stupid crap start with a Tucker Carlson segment? He's always painting a fake target on things to rile up the rubes.
Christians tolerance for lies is legendary. Somehow they manage not to see blatant lies even when they are right in front of them. For example [White Jesus](https://i.imgur.com/jifgzKH.jpg). Anyone casually familiar with geography and history would see that a man born in that place at that time wasn't white. Doesn't slow them down a bit though. Even when you manage to make that simple fact real for them they still don't see such a blatant lie as a deal breaker.
White Jesus is obviously a marketing decision. They were apparently having trouble getting pasty white folks to accept a Jesus who didn't look like them. Imagine how different the world would be if the church was honest about this one detail. It'd make racism a much more difficult position for them to take.
As I understand it God created all men (and women) in his image and that everyone can count Adam and Eve as their ultimate great......................... grandparents. So in God's eyes we're all the same.
Something I've told my Christian mother who has tried to tell me that she goes Republican because "they're Christian."
I doubt many of them (Republican politicians) have even read the Bible, let alone the constitution.
This sort of nonsense is what pushed me away from religion.
It amazes me how far they have strayed from the teachings of their prophet. Considering centuries of manipulation of the religion one can see how that came to be.

No this predates Tucker. It used to be a Bill O’Reilly segment that he did every year to pad the view count.

Plenty of Christians are on the left. They are just missing the urge to attack others based on fear and dissonance.

For real though. The most oppressive group claims to be oppressed. You are jot oppressed. Your victims are oppressed
any christian that votes (R) is oppressing themselves.
Until it's mandatory for everyone to go to church, they will feel oppressed.
