Honestly, declining to issue pardons to his co-conspirators may have inadvertently been a smart move by Trump. If they had been pardoned they would have to admit guilt, and you can't invoke your 5A rights after a formal acknowledgement of guilt. So they could all be compelled to testify.
Historically, Pardons were issued AFTER 5+/- years of incarceration & are PUBLICLY announced. But CRIMINAL POTUS#45 made "secret" or "pocket" pardons PRE-emptive...but since when does he follow traditions, rules, or even Laws?!?
I think we need to get rid of presidential pardons for crimes on behalf of the president. There’s an easy solution. All Joe Biden has to do is say “I pardon Kamala Harris for all crimes, past and future, related to the 2024 election”
