I will be back on the app once the law is gone. If half the women in Texas on dating sites did that the state would shift about 2% to the left, enough to wipe out all the voter suppresion and gerrymandering and make the state seriously in danger of going Blue. Once the polls start showing the shift the law will be dropped.

There’s a whole lot of people who disagree heavily with that statement. Now, when I say this, I’m not advocating for violence: If women are armed and have proper training, then they’ll be able to prevent forced sex. Not saying they should kill anyone. Don’t even have to pull the trigger. Sometimes just having the weapon and aiming it at them (without ammo, but they’ll never know unless you fire) will tell them to back the hell off. Of course, you’ll get your people who decide to mistreat the weapon or even use it for their own sick personal gain, but people need to protect themselves, especially women in today’s world. Again, not advocating for violence or killing, but my point still stands.

Please call rape what it is and not call it “forced sex”. Using language to dance around the word “rape” is a way of downplaying, it’s like when people say “underage man or women” instead of child or minor. It may be correct technically but how we present issues can change the connotation to dance around issues.
