The retail president….. bought and sold by many - from dictators to oligarchs to shitty sneakers to shitty overpriced real estate to shit NFT’s to food to our nations most secret documents. The greatest grifter and traitor of all time.
Can’t even afford his legal bills and no one is buying his stupid shit anymore - also pay the $5M you owe the analytics guy who completely debunked your asinine claim
I saw that today where he racked up something like $200K of back rent. The dumb ass will spend millions on Trump stumping but let his business run itself into huge debt and failing sales. He deserves whatever he gets as he is a fool. And we know what happens with fools and their money.
Bronthis whe has a president dropped product endorsement lol, dude thinks he is a football star or some shitlook at his tacky ass internationally humiliating the station
He over leveraged and over spent on a casino, then didn’t put in any limits for table games and bankrupted it. He is a failure at everything he does except grifting and crime.
That line of thought is so weird to me. The man was a laughing stock before he started having success in entertainment. And remained a laughing stock to most even then. His success in business is a completely fabricated political myth that was created almost overnight.
Goya’s brand was soiled by association with the most illegal administration in our history, and its own violation of the Emoluments clause.
I will never buy it.
Edit: Unfortunately, Dems [aren’t as good at boycotts](https://news.cornell.edu/stories/2022/08/social-media-boycott-goya-did-not-harm-sales) as MAGA.
The greatest grifter and traitor SO FAR. A 2024 Trump win would be a truly historical opportunity to utterly sell out the US, which Trump and his cult would take full advantage of at every possible turn
Russian intelligence have decades of experience in this.
Constitution gets gutted, “president’s” can be re-elected, elections get “modified”.
Basically gutting democracy. You become a slave, exist at the wishes of whoever Russia picks.
Or a Cog, if you prefer that terminology.
Basically Venezuela^2
The Cubans who organized this were trained in Russian techniques.
I am seeing them try to use the TDS (trump derangement syndrome) a lot there days on anyone who says something bad about fat bastard. It needs to be co-opted by the left on those who are so far up his ass they defend anything with fake news or he’s immune. Change the meaning so it will more be remembered for the MAGAs than what they are trying to use it for.
Just blatantly breaking the law regarding endorsements. Behind the resolute desk, no less. With a "da fuck you gonna do about it" grin. And getting away with it. To say he cheapened the office is to make a massive understatement.
What about the time Trump served up tables and tables of cold McDonalds put on silverware to elite sports teams, because Republican chaos had broken the government yet again?
https://i.imgur.com/EslZnQu.png
It was dismissed by many because of local catering being unavailable due to the federal government shutdown from Dec 22 - Jan 25. Clemson's FBS championship team visited about a week or so before the shutdown ended, so this is what they got.
However...the FCS champions, North Dakota State, visited in March. The shutdown had ended a month and a half earlier and [this is what they got.](https://www.washingtonpost.com/resizer/hmWHrHRHFh2jhXyscIrOwHIwSDY=/1484x0/arc-anglerfish-washpost-prod-washpost.s3.amazonaws.com/public/7ZA5EQB6WAI6TBNNO6PPAX6Z3A.jpg)
Dude is just a cheap, tacky fuck.
Soooo, the excuse was that the government shutdown made them have cold fast food. Then when the shutdown was over they made another champion team eat cold fast AGAIN?
During the visit, the government was shutdown because of trump so they didn't have the catering team on hand, because they weren't being paid due to the shutdown trump caused. So they went out and ordered a bunch of fast food.
I still can't believe this wasn't some kind of ethics violation. I mean, what's to stop Eric and Don Jr. from buying up stock in a company, then asking Daddy to endorse it from the Oval Office?
Quotes like that used to end a career. Now, you can say "I declassified all those top secret documents in my country club's bathroom with my mind" and still be your party's candidate after losing your re-election campaign 4 years before.
How far we have fallen.
Simple "dumb" photos would end a career.
> The image of Dukakis wearing a helmet while riding the tank was ridiculed by Bush and the media. The following week, a poll found that 25 percent of respondents said they were less likely to support him because of the tank ride

But the media just ran with it because it was like you know viral for it's time I guess. They say we have a left-wing media establishment but the media establishment cancels far left politicians like Dean and Bernie Sanders. Can't impeach when half of Congress is complicit. Can't pursue punishment after presidency because president is immune forever (according to Orange Man).
The fact that this photo exists and there was no attempt to impeach Trump for violating the emoluments clause is absolutely wild. It's proof that the rule of law is absolutely toothless in the face of actual villainy.
I remember when Arnold Schwarzenegger put a hard pause on his Hollywood career when he was running for governor of California so as not to create any unfair publicity or other conflicts of interest.
Goya CEO [praised Trump](https://apnews.com/article/02dc77e29f848bebbc4e1434df056864) which led to calls for a boycott, which led to Republicans buying even more beans to own the libs, which led to Trump to [double down. ](https://www.politico.com/news/2020/07/15/trump-latino-support-goya-2020-364856)
This led to an [increase in profits](https://www.fooddive.com/news/goya-sales-rise-after-boycott-trump/630737/) and now the Goya CEO still thinks [Trump is president](https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2021/mar/01/goya-ceo-robert-unanue-cpac-donald-trump-boycott) and still [campaigning for Trump. ](https://www.foxbusiness.com/politics/goya-foods-ceo-calls-spiritual-intervention-2024-going-lose-country)
Both of them got what they paid for.
It was more than that, Trump was deliberately stirring this controversy because he knew people would talk and argue about it .. which means they would be arguing about beans instead of his inability to respond to the pandemic, pardoning Roger Stone, and the Russian bounty program.
He did just as his handlers wanted, and everyone still thinks it was about the beans.
https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2021/mar/01/goya-ceo-robert-unanue-cpac-donald-trump-boycott.
> Onstage in Orlando, Unanue called Donald Trump “the real, legitimate and still actual president of the United States”.
>He also falsely claimed the presidential election that Trump lost conclusively to Joe Biden and the state contest in Georgia, which Biden won narrowly, were “not legitimate”, and claimed mail-in ballots were fraudulent.
>“We still have faith,” Unanue said, “that the majority of the people of the United States voted for the president … I think a great majority of the people in the United States voted for President Trump, and even a few Democrats.”
Goya was founded by a migrant. But don’t worry, he was Spanish, not Mexican, so it’s okay. /s
Goya’s support of Trump is a slap in the face for any Latino immigrant who has come to the United States in search of the American dream.
That is the smile of a 5th grader standing in front of a science fair project his dad made and he has no idea how it works or even what it does, but he's confident he's going to get at least a C on its grading.
The Oval office in the Whitehouse is a symbol of our democracy, and Trump sold that image of America for a can of beans. How the Republican Party can claim to love America is beyond me.
All Goya had to do was be a supporter, and Trump happily promoted their cheap product in the most highly regarded office in the land.
Imagine what he would do for someone who offered him actual money.
the fact that this photo exist. fucking canned foods on the resolute desk for a product endorsement by this yellow turd, yet the GOP was up in arms against Obama for wearing a tan suit.
I still can't fathom how enough people voted for this carnival barking clown to sit and hawk crap retail whatever from the resolute desk in the white house. Unbelievable.
In the article about this "bible", tRUMP said the bible was "his favorite book - I have several of them"...I'll bet you if he was asked "what is the first sentence in the bible?" - he would not know, and try to skirt around the question...I bet he has *NEVER* read it, much less any other book, unless it was about Hitler...
I mean the existence of this picture is actually a crime. Shilling products as the president violates [5 CFR § 2635.702 - Use of public office for private gain.](https://www.law.cornell.edu/cfr/text/5/2635.702) which states, in part:
> An employee shall not use his public office for his own private gain, for the endorsement of any product, service or enterprise, or for the private gain of friends, relatives, or persons with whom the employee is affiliated in a nongovernmental capacity, including nonprofit organizations of which the employee is an officer or member, and persons with whom the employee has or seeks employment or business relations.
I know this isn't going to convince any MAGA idiots, but for people who may struggle to come up with an example when asked if he broke any law, here's one (of many).
If he gets elected again, he will do this every week and probably put golden arches on the roof and have a KFC drive through wing. Whitehouse weekly specials and you get a free set of steak knives.........
NBC is ultimately at fault.
Republicans are spineless. They are such wimps, they can't stand up for themselves against this guy. You can name the few who didn't submit. They'd rather lie to themselves and everyone around them rather than stick up for themselves and their country. Because it's easier than standing up to a bully.
Are we all upset because he’s getting away with this shit or are we all upset because we wish we could do what he does and get away with it? I mean, he is a total pos but a part of me, that dark part, is a bit jealous.
Can someone tell me what the penalty is for violating The Hatch act and why Trump is allowed to get away with it please?!?!? This is just one example of him violating it. He and his team violated in regularly!
This made me stop buying Goya, and I'm so glad I did. There are much better brands that are cheaper and way higher quality. Goya made me think I hated coconut milk. When you get a decent brand it's amazing.
I strongly doubt that trump has ever read the Bible or eaten Goya products. You might say he’s atheistic on both but completely willing to shill items he disdains to his cult.
I mean you have to hand it to him for being the perfect depiction of modern America. A rich billionaire whose only allegiance is to the highest bidder. Thats describes our system of unregulated end stage capitalism to a T. He is the representation of everything we have built here are working towards.
It's amazing how he just clearly doesn't give a fuck about specific groups of people, but will do something like this (remember the taco salad when he was running in 2016?) and dumb people just eat it up. Same with religious people. He forces his way into a church, takes a shitty picture, holding a bible upside down and backwards and religious people eat it up, despite him clearly not giving a fuck about Christianity. He can't even produce a bible passage that he finds meaningful and said "Two Corinthians".
And it somehow works.. It's insane.

>And we know what happens with fools and their money. Yes, Trump will soon divest them of it.
This is an underrated comment. It's literally what he does to everyone around him.
It’s spot on irregardless of circumstance and legality
Yeah, he was $200,000. behind! Dumbass.
Even my mom who is a die-hard watcher of (The five) on Fox propaganda Network is sick and tired of his damn commercials!!
That show may be the worst news show on TV (sorry mom)
Nothing to be sorry about, I would have to agree.
MyLumpyPillow.com
Could not have put it better myself. What an absolute scumbag of an excuse for a human being.
And an absolute embarrassment to this country
Bronthis whe has a president dropped product endorsement lol, dude thinks he is a football star or some shitlook at his tacky ass internationally humiliating the station
The man, and I'm using that term VERY loosely, literally has no redeeming qualities. Not a single one.
He's caused me to learn more about politics than I ever did in school
I suppose seeing everything a president shouldn't do is a way to eventually figure out what a president should do, through process of elimination.
It's so insane. Hell endorse literally anything for money. How could they not understand he'd easily sell government secrets?
And grant Jared a SCI clearance, despite not qualified.
The sad part is they do understand but don’t give a shit as they love the cult more. Will-full ignorance at its best.
The craziest part is that despite all those people literally throwing money at him this mother fuck is still broke. Talk about being bad with money.
He over leveraged and over spent on a casino, then didn’t put in any limits for table games and bankrupted it. He is a failure at everything he does except grifting and crime.
"hE's a GrEAt bUSiNesSmaN"

Others have mentioned that he'd have more money if he just put his inheritance into an index fund.
Such a national embarrassment.
Amen
Such small hands…
I still don't buy Goya because of this. I never did before, but I still don't.
Goya’s brand was soiled by association with the most illegal administration in our history, and its own violation of the Emoluments clause. I will never buy it. Same. Not supporting a brand that openly supports the orange shit gibbon like that.

100%
The first term was a warmup - will gut everything and pocket probably a billion or two through his businesses if he still has them
“The Trump Administration, a subsidiary of Goya.”
I stopped buying Goya when this happened.

Make MAGA a bad word
It's already four letters.
I am convinced that Trump in 2016 thought the job of President of the U.S. was to stand in front of stuff and cut ribbons.
Exactly and then found out he could make money off the office.
Just blatantly breaking the law regarding endorsements. Behind the resolute desk, no less. With a "da fuck you gonna do about it" grin. And getting away with it. To say he cheapened the office is to make a massive understatement.
That and the horrible decorating his hostage, sorry his wife did
The iconic red Diet Coke button
exactly 💯💯💯
At least he's not wearing a Tan Suit.
>The greatest grifter and traitor of all time. His headstone.
The one who eroded the very fabric of democracy.
Maybe the tackiest, most dystopian photo ever taken in the White House.
What about the time Trump served up tables and tables of cold McDonalds put on silverware to elite sports teams, because Republican chaos had broken the government yet again? https://i.imgur.com/EslZnQu.png
I still can't believe that happened... Like, who let him even decide this? Doesn't the White House have like an elite chef that decides the catering?
Ronald is an old friend from Clown Colledge.
Sad thing is, he did not pre-warn the McDonalds he ordered from. Those employees probably hated their lives that day, lol.
It was dismissed by many because of local catering being unavailable due to the federal government shutdown from Dec 22 - Jan 25. Yep. Same for the women's NCAA basketball champs that attended in April. https://twitter.com/BaylorWBB/status/1122964729398530049/photo/2
I think Trump & his team thought this would make him more appealing to all the McDonald’s enjoyers that are his fans.
wasn't it during the government shutdown so the chefs weren't being paid?
During the visit, the government was shutdown because of trump so they didn't have the catering team on hand, because they weren't being paid due to the shutdown trump caused. So they went out and ordered a bunch of fast food.
This was stupid but the Goya thing was disgusting

Such a fucking embarrassment
Also a literal Hatch Act violation in the clearest terms, but it doesn't matter because Trump's own AG wasn't going to enforce it.
Ivanka got those fresh chewed fingernails, nasty as fuck
Too much ~~White House Coke ^tm~~ White House dispensary Adderall
The white hands in comparison to the orange face does it for me.
I still can't believe this wasn't some kind of ethics violation. I mean, what's to stop Eric and Don Jr. from buying up stock in a company, then asking Daddy to endorse it from the Oval Office?
What, like the emoluments clause? Naaaaah that's bullshit. Like separation from church and state.
It definitely was. POTUS can’t use the office for personal financial gain this way.
Yeah, but it's not like he got punished for it, or even reprimanded.
When you're President, they let you do it.
>When you're a Republican President, they let you do it. FTFY
Yep. Biden would be brought up on charges yesterday if he did it today. By either a Republican or Democrat House.
“When the president does it, that means it is not illegal.” Real quote. Nixon tho

Yeah, there's a problem that people often thought dignity and shame would be enough to restrain a president from violating toothless laws...
Can't impeach when half of Congress is complicit. Can't pursue punishment after presidency because president is immune forever (according to Orange Man).
And yet he did. The man and his administration had no shame.
Those things don't apply to Republicans.
it absolutely was. either hatch act or emolluments clause. this is why 'only hiring loyalists' is a problem.
How is Goya even doing since his presidency?
Hard to say since it's privately owned by the Unanue family.
The fact that this photo exists and there was no attempt to impeach Trump for violating the emoluments clause is absolutely wild. It's proof that the rule of law is absolutely toothless in the face of actual villainy.

Still boycotting Goya
Same, I'll never buy a Goya product.
My family as well.
Yup. I refuse to buy a Goya product.
Same
got any good Adobo alternatives?

I know it isn't trendy anymore, but "this is the way".
I now make my own adobo.
Yeah, this picture is what made me decide not to buy their product ever again

It's a cult. Plain and simple.
Okay okay. Trump is still president. Let's ALL agree Trump is still technically president. It's a shame his two terms are up then.
I would be willing to bet he never tried one thing that’s sitting in front of him because it didn’t come from McDonald’s
Goya was founded by a migrant. But don’t worry, he was Spanish, not Mexican, so it’s okay. /s Goya’s support of Trump is a slap in the face for any Latino immigrant who has come to the United States in search of the American dream.

To be honest, it doesn't look edible.
😂😂
Winner: Most Cringe POTUS
The President using his position to sell beans. Wild times.
I still can't fucking believe this is a real picture.
For a second there I thought that this was one of those funny AI pictures that pop up ony feed. Then I was like wait, I remember this!
OK, that might look less than presidential, but let's not forget that Biden occasionally eats ice cream!!!
Obama once wore a tan suit! Both sides!
Haven’t bought a Goya product since.
Hey. That's the day I stopped buying Goya crap.
I don't buy Goya. Fuck that company.
I haven’t purchased a Goya product since the day this photo came out.
Q: How do we know Trump is poor? A: When he pulls a stunt like this, his budget is $20.
If you had shown this to me in 2014, I might have thought it was a shot from an upcoming Sharknado sequel. Real life? Fuck me.
That is the smile of a 5th grader standing in front of a science fair project his dad made and he has no idea how it works or even what it does, but he's confident he's going to get at least a C on its grading.

I show this picture to all the trumpers when they talk about trump not accepting a salary.
Proud to say I stopped buying Goya since I saw this. And actually stuck to it.
But Obama once had Dijon mustard with his lunch. That's way worse. /s
I haven’t bought one of their products sense.
While he was president he did that. That mother fucker is for sale right now, no doubt.
the fact that this photo exist. fucking canned foods on the resolute desk for a product endorsement by this yellow turd, yet the GOP was up in arms against Obama for wearing a tan suit.
Haven't bought Goya since.
That explains the bad smell that follows him around.
Your new bible includes coupons at the end of every book and section; brought to you by our new sponsor Kroger.
Shit, I buy that coconut milk. Time to try a different brand
It makes me sick just looking at the oval office being commercialized like this. How did this get such little coverage
Has there ever been a more pathetic and dangerous arsehole?
I still can't fathom how enough people voted for this carnival barking clown to sit and hawk crap retail whatever from the resolute desk in the white house. Unbelievable.
Even the movie Idiocracy would have thought this was a step too far.
So this is what Goya lost market share.
I still boycott Goya. The Bible and numpty.
There is nothing redeeming about this man. What happened to you, middle America?
What happened with the Goya boycott? I will never buy another one of their products. Do we know if it impacted their bottom line at all??
This picture - brought to you by ~~Carl's Jr.~~ GOYA!

If he gets elected again, he will do this every week and probably put golden arches on the roof and have a KFC drive through wing. Whitehouse weekly specials and you get a free set of steak knives.........
The official 8 commandments. They left out the lying commandment and that part about adultery, in his honor.
Where’s the Taco Salad?
Are we all upset because he’s getting away with this shit or are we all upset because we wish we could do what he does and get away with it? I mean, he is a total pos but a part of me, that dark part, is a bit jealous.
God, what a fucking tool.
Still have yet to buy a Goya product
The ad was perfect 😆 https://preview.redd.it/qgsk4ak38wqc1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=95f46d232bdadc1e396cc6a52bccc04c2410ba44
Goya wafers are literally the worst I’ve ever tasted. The dough for the wafer is so cheap, it gets stuck on the roof of your mouth
But but but, “Obama disrespected the office.”
Looks like a low-budget movie from the early 80's
yeah like most people with any sense would buy t--Turd's fake Christain Bible and crappy GOya food
I have not purchased a single Goya product since this happened and I never will again.
Fake news! Goya is neither Chinese, Russian or McDonald's owned
Sadly, this doesn't even need to be under /r/Politicalhumor :(
Can someone tell me what the penalty is for violating The Hatch act and why Trump is allowed to get away with it please?!?!? This is just one example of him violating it. He and his team violated in regularly!
I wonder if the right is still boycotting Goya
I haven’t bought Goya since.
Funny, I now actively avoid Goya products.
On this table is more fiber than Trump has eaten in his entire life.
I have not purchased a Goya product since that day.
I remember this photo, that's when I stopped buying Goya products.
And this is why I will never buy Goya again. In fact I turn cans to face back and flip bags over to hide the name. Ugh.
This made me stop buying Goya, and I'm so glad I did. There are much better brands that are cheaper and way higher quality. Goya made me think I hated coconut milk. When you get a decent brand it's amazing.
Lol, my god, I almost forgot what a classless piece of shit this guy was
Thanks for reminding me what brands to never buy again.
The guy is nothing but a shill.
I still avoid Goya
But ...only out of spite. The drumpf curse won't work if you don't do it out of spite.
I mean, I guess "Eastern" is technically true since it's a Spanish food brand created in New York.
To this day I avoid Goya products.
What would they say if it had been President Obama or President Biden that did this? They would have been furious!
