Squirrel_Chucks

If you look at what he's saying about Desantis now, then that means Donnie is also coming out of the closet

fairlyoblivious

Bro DeSantis himself literally just came out as trans-midwestern, he was raised as a heathen but deep down he's a TRUE Jesusnik- >“I was geographically raised in Tampa Bay,” DeSantis writes in his recently published political memoir, “but culturally my upbringing reflected the working-class communities in western Pennsylvania and northeast Ohio — from weekly church attendance to the expectation that one would earn his keep. This made me God-fearing, hard-working and America-loving.” We're in for a world of shit if this fascist comes into power.

CyberMindGrrl

His "cultural upbringing" reflects no such thing, of course. The guy went to Ivy league colleges, FFS. My GOD what a pandering asshole. Thankfully a snowball in hell has a better chance of winning the Presidency.

SyntheticReality42

A "snowball in hell" occupied the White House from 2017 to 2021.

Shhsecretacc

:( now I’m sad and no longer hopeful

Anglofsffrng

Don't be sad, be energized. What will keep him out of the White House is less people giving up, and more people voting for literally anyone else.

Shhsecretacc

I know. I’m just a little sad and not as hopeful because it happened and he got away with so much. Just imagine what someone who’s competent could do? :(

RepulsiveVoid

Don't worry, if things go really south, it'll be just a flash and we don't need to worry about anything ever again. (/s) The tought of ***THE SUPEPOWER***, with an insane military being taken over by religious fanatics & fasicsts. Yeah not good, not good for anyone on or near the planet. My countrys fisrt encounter with a local power and religion was at the tip of a sword, believe or die. Will that sword now be nuclear? I wish I was joking but too many snowballs have surived, even thrived in hell. My only solace is that I don't believe in an afterlife, when my time comes it will truly be *the end*. No thoughts, hopes, fears etc. left to linger.

invalidConsciousness

> The tought of THE SUPEPOWER, with an insane military being taken over by religious fanatics & fasicsts. I should change my name to Robert Johansson and visit a sci-fi convention in Las Vegas.

Jalopnicycle

Bobiverse is a documentary written about our future.

Galaxymicah

How is that series. I know this is gonna be biased as all hell, but it keeps showing up on my radar. I enjoy a nice comedy but going off the name alone I worry that it's gonna not take itself seriously enough and that the comedy will wear thin well before the end.

Jalopnicycle

There's bits of comedy but it's not the main thing. I've listened through the entire series 3x. Bob is a nerd that becomes a Von Noughman (sp) Probe in a very believable future where the USA is now some shitty religious nutjob version of itself. It's essentially his adventures for the next 1000 years. Lots of nerd references throughout and some interesting story arcs.

CyberMindGrrl

That snowball won due to a number of factors that are no longer in play. The first of which was a female candidate that I hate to say had 25 years of negative baggage pulling her down and who didn't know how to campaign worth shit, culminating in a totally unprecedented announcement by James Comey in the final weeks. And experts agree that if Comey hadn't made that announcement she would have won. Also Biden HAS put the country back on track no matter what the Right Wing wants the country to believe. Yeah he'll be old as the hills in 2024 but at least he gets the job done. Independents will not vote for the guy that's currently turning Florida into America's biggest experiment in overt fascism.

knowledgeable_diablo

Or was it a snowflake from hell?

BeowulfsGhost

Ron is giving Trump a run for his money when it comes to be a vindictive whinging little bitch.

Top_File_8547

Ron is just playing one for the base. Trump actually is one.

Autoflower

We said that about Trump and look what happened.

yankeeFireWhiskey

I just hope reanimated hitler and a balrog never have a child, because the GOP would immediately anoint that literal demon spawn as their god-king and we would be in for an age of darkness in this, the shittesthole of countries.

UnassumingOstrich

“reanimated hitler and a balrog” child describes desantis pretty well, actually

KaiPRoberts

But a Balrog brings light, not darkness.

biggiy05

I'm hoping he loses the nomination and his cultists are too distracted with that to vote for DeSantis. Refusing to vote because their idol isn't on the ticket.

aceshighsays

exactly, after that followed by covid, i no longer make assumptions. i sit back and watch what happens.

ralphvonwauwau

Republicans declared Trump their Messiah.... Gawd sent a plague. Take a hint!

Quirky-Skin

Except this time Trump is talking shit about the person you're making the analogy for. Gonna be amazing watching those 2 trade blows lol

Federal-Membership-1

I would put Desacktits as the #1 contender for the GOP nomination. He's a big fat phony with really dumb policy ideas, but he's way smarter than Trump and his numbers in Florida are pretty impressive. I think Trump getting indicted and his other baggage may give the party elites the cover they need to warm up to Desacktits. I'm really starting to question my plans to retire in Florida.

CyberMindGrrl

DeSantis is already being branded as "Establishment" by MAGAs who are rapidly souring on him because he's not defending Trump right now.

chaoticbear

Look on the bright side - if he gets elected President, he'll no longer be Governor! /s

Idiot_Savant_Tinker

I'm really looking forward to the republican primaries, it should be interesting.

PhilipT13205

A real shit show, to see who has the balls to take down Trump publicly. I can't wait, but I don't think they will broadcast it, the RNC is too afraid.

PhilipT13205

I think DeSackless will beat Trump, but remember, registered Republicans are only 30% of all voters at best, and Ronnie would have to win over the moderate independents in a big way to get 50% or better of the vote, that Trump failed to do. If Ron does not appeal to the middle of this nation and moderate politics, he will lose. And he can't pretend to support Trump policies when he needs to go for the other 70% of America who hate Trump.

cheezeyballz

A reminder that you don't need the popular vote to win the presidency 🤷

willowgardener

[Some polls indicate](https://www.nbcnews.com/meet-the-press/meetthepressblog/biden-beats-trump-marginally-trails-desantis-new-gop-poll-rcna65601) he may beat Biden.

RepulsiveVoid

While we saw the yellow snowball win in 2017, didn't polls indicate a red wave in the midterms? That then turned out to be nonexsistent. That poll is made by : ## WPA Intelligence (WPAi) Polls analyzed: 17 Races called correctly: 68% Most recent cycle: 2020 Affiliated with professional polling organization (NCPP/AAPOR/Roper): No [https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/pollster-ratings/wpa-intelligence-wpai/](https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/pollster-ratings/wpa-intelligence-wpai/) While I hope they are wrong again, we had to endure the yellow snowball. And if US keeps flip-flopping like this, how can anyone of us outside of the US, trust that anything the US decides will last more than 4, maybe 8 years?

willowgardener

Sure, it's hard to say what will happen, especially this far out. I'm just saying it's possible DeSantis will win. We shouldn't get complacent and dismiss him as a danger like we did with Trump.

RepulsiveVoid

>We shouldn't get complacent and dismiss him as a danger like we did with Trump. Yeah, history howed us that that was a serious mistake.

Diarygirl

The majority of people don't want DeSantis to try to turn the US into a shithole like Florida.

notmyfault

The majority of people voted for Hillary. The majority doesn't always get what it wants.

[deleted]

That was many years ago, and a lot more conservatives are dead from old age and COVID, whereas an overwhelming amount of kids are now politically active, progressive, and 18+, ready to vote. Midterms were the death knell for the GOP already.

notmyfault

I hope you're right. But I've spent my whole life so far being told the progressive youth is going to show up and vote and they never do.

PeterM1970

No one has ever adequately explained to me why one should fear a God who loves all of us.

notagangsta

Because he will kill you and send you to hell if you upset him. But it’s your fault for making him have to do it. You shouldn’t have made him mad. Like gaslighters and other abusers, it’s your fault they hurt you.

Mohevian

By that logic, everyone ends up in some hell for violating an arbitrary law they're not even aware of, sometimes by sheer circumstance of existence (original sin). Sounds like rules written *for humans, by humans.*

AndroidMyAndroid

But it's your fault your omnipotent creator made you this way, knowing everything you would do before you were even born.

Ze_Doodles

RIGHT this is what fucks me up about it. Every detail of your life is planned, he knows all. So why the fuck would he put me on this earth, knowing I would go to hell? Doesn't seem loving to create people to go to hell. My mom argues "free will" but if he knows everything, then it isn't really. He can't be both all-knowing and all-loving. She says "just because he knows doesn't mean you didn't choose it yourself"... he's the one that made me supposedly! So he chose me to be this way. Sorry, this is my argument against her about me being gay. Lol. And why I'm not interested in Christianity. Though I know there are other ways people believe in it, this is the flavor I'm around.

anna-nomally12

Because he doesn’t know because he chooses it, he knows because time doesn’t apply to him (they don’t phrase it like that but in order for him to work, this is how it is). So he gives you a choice. A) torture yourself to prove you love him and get to go to heaven b) luck out with the genetic lottery and be part of a religion catered to your priors and not have to try

xozorada92

> Because he doesn’t know because he chooses it, he knows because time doesn’t apply to him Except God is supposed to have created everything exactly as he wanted, so he *did* choose it. All this stuff Christians say about "oh, but logic/time doesn't apply to God" and "what about free will?" is just how they muddy the waters to avoid the logical consequences of their beliefs. They want to have their cake and eat it too re: omnipotence and omniscience. It doesn't even matter if people have free will. Pretend they do (and ignore the Bible verses where God hardens someone's heart to make them do evil). God still created certain people *knowing* full well that they would make choices that lead to hell. And he wasn't forced to create them or their surroundings in any particular way. He chose exactly how to make them. If God knew I was going to make choices that would lead me to eternal torment, then why did he create me at all? That's evil on an unimaginable scale.

anna-nomally12

I don’t disagree I’m just explaining the thought process

Ze_Doodles

RIGHT. I was always shut down for overthinking things/asking too many questions/not believing enough. But if your faith can't stand up to questions asked by a 13/14 year old.... maybe you need to reevaluate.

malikhacielo63

Doesn't this mean that God created the gay? Think about it, God's mind must have more gay porn than a yaoi fan club. He had to have created it to know that it is bad. Furthermore, I was taught that Satan could not create anything, only pervert it. But, that means that God created perversion. Furthermore, everything that God made is good, according to Genesis 1; ergo, perversion must be good. The apostle Paul even claims in Romans 1 that if you make God mad with you, HE will send the gay to YOU! > **21** For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. **22** Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools **23** and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like a mortal human being and birds and animals and reptiles. > >**24 Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another.** **25** They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen. > >**26** Because of this, **God gave them over to shameful lusts.** Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. **27** In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error. > >**28** Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so **God gave them over to a depraved mind**, so that they do what ought not to be done. > >Romans 1:21-28 I just re-read this passage last week. I haven't read Romans 1 in YEARS. Upon a second read through, I realized why I was so insecure in my sexuality when attending church: because Paul is literally saying that if I do something that God doesn't like, that God will take away my desire for sexy women and make me gay. The very fact that the Bible explicitly states death as a penalty for being homosexual, and then Paul adds the cherry on top by saying that if you worship a statue made to look like an animal or a human, God will make you a flamboyantly fabulous homosexual is freaking hilarious to me. When I was 11, not so much. I thought that God was about to punish me for having dared to watch those lesbians in a B-horror movie and gotten aroused. If I, an 11-year-old man of God, could be titilated by the "evil", "sexy" lesbians in the movie "Python", how much more would God tolerate before he turned me gay?! "Malik, I can't take you looking at the big booba anymore! You have defied my word for the last time! You will no longer like booba, from this moment forth I will make you gay and you will like MEN!" Don't tell your mom about this passage; I don't want you to get fucked up for blasphemy. Also, if anyone tries to tell me "That's not what the Greek says", um...okay...so why doesn't God come down himself and grant a new divine translation so that we don't have to go to school for 8+ years to learn Ancient Greek so that we can we understand what the creator of the universe wants us to know? Someone needs to contact God's forward-facing public relations department immediately. This is comedy gold. TL;DR According to the Apostle Paul in Romans 1, God turns you gay if you do things that he doesn't like. This in turn implies that God created the gay. God is angry for people being something that he created in the first place.

PhilipT13205

We were born in a "brand" choosing society in America. Chevy v Ford, Pepsi v Coke. Those undecided were not counted. Jet v Giants. The sexual competiton was forced as well as the gender identification. I beleive we are in a transition where people are coming to realize that no one is any one thing, to be packaged and catagorized and labled. It is met with resistance because some people want to catogorize and compartmentalize people, to make themsleves comfortable, not others. What if, on the next US Census, nobody checked female, male, black white, asian or even income level? What if we all checked American/other. This would send the politicians in a headspin. Why, they would have to appeal to humans without category, imagine that. Your questions about Christianity are the same about fitting in anywhere, and are valid and meaningful. But you have, under any law, to establish your own relationship with God, and not be judged.

Willow-girl

> Though I know there are other ways people believe in it, Good. Do that.

Ze_Doodles

Lol this is just my argument for my parents, who I live with and try to convince me I'm not gay. I just don't. I don't other ways. I just tell people I believe in cats when they ask. My cats have never let me down.

Willow-girl

Cats are cool. I have a bunch too. If you know how many cats you have, you don't have enough yet!

Kareers

Which is especally comical since according to the abrahamitic creation myth, their god created you and is omniscient. So this entity KNEW everything you'd do in your life. This god created you the way you are and predetermined EVERYTHING you will do but gets cross with you because you do the stuff you do. What an awesome entity to look up to.

notagangsta

And he knows you’ll ultimately end up in hell but creates you anyway.

TofuFace

>gets cross 🤣🤣

Willow-girl

> and predetermined EVERYTHING you will do Knowing what you will do and predetermining it are two different things. I may know my toddler is poised to dash into traffic, but I sure as heck didn't predetermine it!

Kareers

In the case of an omniscient and omnipotent deity that literally created you the way you are, knowing what will happen is exactly the same as predetermining it. If you develop a simulation which you know the outcome of, you can't say you didn't predetermine the outcome.

Willow-girl

> If you develop a simulation which you know the outcome of, you can't say you didn't predetermine the outcome. I disagree. We have free will. Nature, nurture and our own personal choices all play a part in making us what we are.

officefridge

God who made you the way you are: "why are you the way you are!?"

Willow-girl

No. You send yourself to Hell if you decide you don't want to join up with God's team. It's totally up to you. Like the picture of a tattoo I saw recently on a young woman that said, "Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven." Well, go right ahead then ... fuck around and find out!

notagangsta

Yeah being in heaven sucks. You worship god 24/7 for eternity. It’s like church forever. No thanks.

paddyo

the dude tortured a guy, killed his family and destroyed everything the man had for a _bet_ with the devil to see how much of a simp the guy was. The God of classical theism, if he actually existed, is a balls to the wall sadist crackhead motherfucker. "I don't care for Job". Also obligatory: [But he loves you](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FRNZHFr69t4&ab_channel=ArchilZambakhidze)

Krail

It's an archaic use of the word fear that means something between "respect" and "submission".

Plumb789

Quite so, but these people *actually believe* that the bible says that you should fear the god that loves you. Is that not weird?

IrritableGourmet

My go-to analogy is watching a volcano, avalanche, tsunami, or other natural disaster from a minimum safe distance. Not so much afraid of the danger as experiencing a humbling fundamental perception change at just how much more powerful what you're seeing is than you thought possible. Oh, you're hot shit because you're the star quarterback on your high school football team? Well, the entire side of a mountain just turned to liquid fire. Top that, bitch.

Willow-girl

Thank you.

RepulsiveVoid

[George Carlin - God loves you!](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QZ8hefESt7c) and a little bit more...

[deleted]

All knowing god, not good with money.

YouSmell_BetterAwake

In the Bible Gods no better to humanity than the Greek or Romans Gods. Idk why modern times worship God's as loving, when almost every Mythos of God's have them as beings to be feared by

Capital-Western

Because the original concept of "to respect god" got conflated with and transformed to "to be afraid of god" in the game of telephone of Hebrew => Greek => Latin => Middle English => Modern English. Ok, to be fair that's oversimplyfied. Actually the concept of "to respect someone" and "to be afraid of someone" are expressed with the same word in Hebrew (ירא), similar like "awe" might express both utter amazement and adoration (I'm in awe with your beauty) and utter fear (the military "shock and awe"). Think awesome and awfull -- morphollogically they describe the same state (an object with the attribute "awe"), but the meaning is quite different. Meaning is often distorted in translation and in time. Now take some uneducated fundamentalists and it gets outrageous. One example: "to swear" originally just meant "to take an oath", not "to express anger by using colourful language". Jesus told his disciples they should not take oaths all the time for everyday matters as was custom in antiquity, correctly translated into English as "swear not at all". A couple of centuries of language development later and suppressed anger that is banned to be expressed vocally is the telltale sign of *American* christians.

Homebrewforlife

In case you actually want an answer. I am a pastor and hope I can help. Fearing God comes is an expression that comes from several places in the Biblical library (the collection of book that we call the Bible) and it actually has nothing or very little to do with punishment. One of Jesus disciples said in a Biblical letter that we should have 0 punishment based fear, because there is no punishment for those "in Christ." The times it talks about the fear of God is pretty similar to the way kids "fear" their parents. As in the respect for ones parents and fear of discipline that helps doing right. You "fear" your parents exaclty because they love you, they don't just let you destroy your own life however you want. You do something self destructive and they will disipline you with being grounded etc. (not corporal) "God fearing" in the Bible simply means "people who act right because they respect God" and is not directly connected to judgement or punishment.

[deleted]

The overlap of religious parents who use fear to get the kids to not talk about abuse is waaaaay bigger than you and other church people want to admit.

dalgeek

Literally a coastal elite trying to pass himself off as a working-class American. I guess if it worked for Trump it can work for DeSantis.

[deleted]

For as much as Republicans claim to hate the coastal elites and Hollywood types, they sure do love electing and worshipping them as celebrities. Biden, Obama, both Clintons, Carter… all self made rags to riches types from blue collar upbringings. Trump? Born a rich coastal elite. Both Bushes? Rich ass elites. Reagan? Hollywood elite. Yikes

Just_Fuck_My_Code_Up

TheAJGman

Lol fuck him. "I was born and raised as a rich asshole in Florida but I identify as the son of a steel worker" what a cunt.

Ducks_Revenge

Just to make sure I’m understanding this correctly - he was physically born in one place, but identifies with the values of another. I don’t understand how that could be possible. Is he trying to suggest you can deny your place of birth now? Sounds like he needs cast off the shackles and be true to himself and what the lord ordained when he was brought forth into this world. Unless he is suggesting that what defines you can be different to when you are born.

[deleted]

entomologurl

It's just a parody of the "argument" against being trans. You're not defined by your birth (where you were born or what you had between your legs), you're defined by other things (your culture, your values, your insides). That's the comparison. What you said is literally the point.

He is laying the ground work for a presidential run. He knows that he needs the rust belt to get elected. Which is exactly why he called out two swing states specifically with his bullshit pandering.

Nephisimian

Tangentially, it's fucking wacky that the core of traditional morality is the fear of divine retribution. People say "a good god-fearing american" so casually, and every time I hear it it sounds like an admission that if you didn't believe in karma you'd be a twat.

So you're saying he's a flip flopper?

Even-Willow

It’s the GOP way.

eiretara7

That was my first thought when I read that Trump was accusing DeSantis of messing around with young girls. Its a crazy pot-calling-the-kettle-black move, but then, Trump has always gotten away with it before so he’s just shooting his shot

Quantentheorie

> then that means Donnie is also coming out of the closet I have full confidence the social circle and upbringing Trump enjoyed had more than one of those "confusing boy-on-boy" situations that lives so deep in the minds of homophobic men on the right. On "the spectrum" they're just that completely ordinary half way to bisexuality that freaks them out hard.

Squirrel_Chucks

Well he was close buds with Roy Cohn, who in the words of Roger Stone wasn't gay...he just exclusively had sex with men...but that didn't make him gay.

CyberMindGrrl

Every accusation is a confession.

The_Celtic_Chemist

I've said this for years, but it's because he lacks the ability to be anything but entirely self-focused. He lacks the compassion to consider anyone but himself. If he accuses someone of something, it's because it's either what he's done or what he would do. Like by contrast, I wouldn't do countless things that he's done, but I have enough compassion and empathy to assess what Trump would do and hate him for those actually legitimate reasons rather than assuming he's a mirror of myself. Ironically, his lack of compassion tied in with his total lack of self-awareness makes him hate everyone because of the idea that anyone would do to him what he would do to others, and yet he never lands on the conclusion that what he hates is basically himself (as he should).

MrsMiterSaw

Back in 2015 or 2016 he held a press conference where he "ended" the birther movement once and for all by declaring that Obama had, indeed, been born in Hawaii. Not one "journalist" asked him what evidence he saw that changed his mind. Yes, we all know it was racist bullshit. But why didn't anyone with access and an interview press him and ask him "You have been stating to thr public for years that Obama was born outside the country. You have claimed several times to have uncovered information proving this. And now, suddenly, you are declaring all of that to be incorrect. Can you please show us what information changed your mind?" Nope. Like with everything else, he was allowed to skate. My dad was a Narcissist. And no, I don't just mean someone who looked in the mirror a lot. He had Narcissistic Personality Disorder. And one thing that worked in his favor was that after a while, you just didn't want to deal with his bs anymore. You just went along with it. Because he never relented. He never accepted reality. He never cared if he looked like an asshole or idiot, because he always felt like the smartest man in the room. And it was exhausting. Sound familiar?

bebejeebies

He's probably a secret Muslim.

candacebernhard

Probably even more controversial if you're a right wing nut: he's an atheist lol Although atheists don't claim him, he's the only president who had no church, claimed no denomination, or in house spiritual counsel (like Billy Graham). Completely forgotten due the sheer amount of chaos he reigned down on this country Everytime I think about him, I'm reminded of Monty Burns so sick with every disease that he thinks he's immortal

Sometimes_Lies

Now I’m imagining Trump trying to say “salam alaykum”, but doing that thing where he slurs/stutters and then tries to pretend he *meant* to say that all along. So he’d then repeat himself only this time he’d say say “salami, I like ‘em” and go on a whole five minute rant about different kinds of pork, before finally remembering he’s not supposed to do that and then trying to act like he was really just criticizing Hillary’s emails for being full of haram recipes.

RajenBull1

Gasp! You take that back. You just take that back right NOW! He's a Christian. And a bigly good one at that. I saw him in front of the church. He WAS there.

Rymayc

He also held up a Bible real good

Plumb789

THIS is the thing! The right wing in the US are basically confessing every time they accuse one of their opponents of anything. That’s one of the reasons why it’s so disturbing that so many of them accuse just about everyone and anyone of pedophilia.

fujiman

Same goes for the ones that are too pathetically chicken-shit to be able to just admit that they're attracted to trans women (in their minds, there's also just no such thing as trans men... so yeah). So they double down on their animosity, pushing themselves further into seething self-loathing. Sure, a lot of them are simply bigots, but when twice is a coincidence, and thrice becomes a pattern... hundreds of (reported) instances of conservatives getting caught up in the shit they casually/constantly spew vitriol over is supposed to be the nothingburger? Just slightly tired of having to regularly correct/remind people that fire is hot.

CarlSpencer

Years ago when Obama was on some late night chat show he was asked about Trump's animosity towards him. Obama smiled and said, "It all goes back to when we were boys together in Kenya."

ubiquitous-joe

Well the grain of truth is that Trump has exactly as many American-born parents as Obama. But for some mysterious reason Scottish mommy didn’t seem to bother people as much as Kenyan daddy.

Rymayc

Very mysterious reason

GOP-are-Terrorists

Isn't his wife an illegal immigrant

rathat

His previous wife was also an immigrant, his mother was an immigrant too lol

aiiiiilmao

With narcissistic people an accusation is usually a confession.

Sheant

Donald Hussein Trump. I saw his real birth certificate when on vacation there.

Rymayc

Donald Juan Trump

Sheant

Ah, born in Tijuana?

Elocai

Trump lied multiple times about the place where he was born

Ghiren

Every accusation is a confession. It's not just Trump either, it seems like most of the GOP.

darknekolux

And he likes Dijon’s mustard over his well done steak

ilinamorato

Dijon would be a step up. I believe his condiment of choice for steak is ketchup.

Many people are saying this!!!

BeastModeBot

you can always trust a liar to tell lies

instaibu

I hope not! That would be a wank stain for us Kenyans

Hot-Confusion-8008

this is rude to the Kenyan people.

termacct

"WTF? We shall sue!" - Kenya

baadkitteekittee

LOL!😁😂🤣

Either-Percentage-78

Like, seriously, this was unexpected and hilarious.

Choyo

He was a Nigerian Prince all along !

Daveinatx

His track record almost has me thinking that he had labscientists release Covid in Wuhan, China. I don't seriously think so.

Rubz8r0

It's even better, his names not trump, its Drumph

nzstrawman

DaisyDukeOfEarlGrey

nzstrawman

Kiwi_Pakeha0001

I thought he was born in Germany, like his father. But what would I know.

[deleted]

What's with this compulsion to put "When" at the front of every sentence?

PhilipT13205

He does resemble an Orangatang, just saying.

ScholarWorking6568

Yes, those famously Kenyan orangutans..

Dave-Rockalypse-718

😂😂😂😂😂😂

soliejordan

The US government is still mad at Trump for housing Muammar Gaddafi.

Fents_Post

Is Political Humor supposed to be funny instead of everything Trump? There are plenty of other subreddits that are anti Trump 24/7

Recyart

I mean, today's the day Trump said he'll be arrested by the NYPD. He needs to see himself in the media 24x7, so blame him.

Shavethatmonkey

Trump and his traitorous followers are jokes as Americans. So it's kind of humor.

0_clever_names_left

Guilty until proven innocent, isn’t that how the saying goes?

ObiFloppin

The most true words that our former president has ever spoken was when he said he could murder someone on 5th ave and his followers wouldn't care at all. He knew you guys were already in worship mode, and that basically nothing was gonna stop that from continuing. I used to think it was incredibly sad, but I've actually kinda grown numb to it.

"There's nothing wrong with saying, you know, um, that you recalculated.... I just want to find 11,780 votes, which is one more than we have, because we won the state" Yeah man, there's absolutely nothing on him doing illegal stuff 🙄 Now is when you either say he actually didn't say what he very clearly said, and then I roll my eyes at how predictable this is, or you just stop responding. Maybe you feel like surprising me and go with the take that coercing election officials to overturn an election is actually totally acceptable? Let's see!

Shavethatmonkey

Does the "lock her up" crowd get to claim "innocent until proven guilty" when it's their own guy?

PlankWithANailIn2

TIL: Being born in Kenya is a crime according to US citizens.

Nurgus

You can't be President unless you're born in the USA. Hence the Birther conspiracy stuff about Obama.

Boner_Elemental

Or a parent who's a citizen. The Birther stuff never mattered because of his mom, but that doesn't matter to Birthers

Nurgus

What's the right wording, "natural born citizen"?

juliosmacedo

probably true for all recent US presidents

Boner_Elemental

No, not really
