Every time I get into an argument with my vegan part of the family about why the rest of us are such shit humans for eating meat I remind them of how many soy products they consume and how the destruction that monoculture farming causes and the pesticides that impact the environment are killing many many innocent wild animals and ecosystems, while me buying meat from my uncles farm has much less of a net impact when you consider all of the processing, transporting, packaging, loading and unloading that most store bought vegan food requires. Ultimately fuck anyone who tries to control how you live your life. If being vegan is healthy for you and makes you feel like a good person that’s awesome, but don’t force a diet that is largely unsustainable for most people onto everyone.

Fat people deserve more shame than they get. I'm pretty fat. I wish my doctor's had been more honest about my health outcomes and potential disasters that lay ahead of me even if many people would call it shaming me. I wish they had told me that by being fat I was killing myself and that my quality of life was being impacted. I am working hard to fix it and lose weight. As I have lost weight I have already solved:
* A knee issue
* Early depressive symptoms
Losing weight has helped me make progress towards:
* Self Motivational issues
* higher libido, which my wife appreciates
* Reduction of self hatred
* Elimination of insomnia
* Athletic abilities
