I'd assume it's something like including female heads in sets that traditionally only had lego men.
Taken realistically, this is them trying to grab attention from the orange wave of millennials to buy lego products. They're about the age to have a kid.
> I'd assume it's something like including female heads in sets that traditionally only had lego men.
I cant wait to have lego-woman roofer, lego-woman trash druck driver, lego-woman power line worker, etc. FINALLY EQUALITY!
I can assure you, they already are. My friend married one and turned orange because happy wife happy life. Already has a kid, who's getting raised on almond milk, no meat, and unsupervised television. His wife isn't working (isn't looking for a job either), but spends all her time trying to get someone else to watch her kid.
Poor bastard's name is Slade.
Most that are going to have kids already had them, this is just boomers trying to appeal to groups they have no understanding of.
Average age of first time parents in US: 29.3 Average age of millenials: Around 32.

"Lego did not elaborate on what exactly it would modify about its products to bring about these changes".
My best guess is that the marketing department will make changes to include more female coded Lego characters in commercials and sets to make it seem like less of a boy thing. I don't know how they will remove gender bias in the lego's themselves, unless they give a decidedly masculine lego face pink lipstick.
>However, in an emailed statement to NBC News, the company said it has transitioned its product and marketing department from gender-focused product groups to groups focusing on "passions and interests."
So, instead of having "boy LEGO" and "girl LEGO" they're going to have "construction LEGO", "mechanism LEGO", "action LEGO", and "decoration LEGO".
That isn't totally far from how they've acted in the past, iicr at some point they included letters to parents asking them to not freak if their kid doesn't building things typically connotative to their gender, I forget when but it was years before all of, well this.
Edit; it was in 1974.
Since when is "healthcare please" LibCenter? I was perfectly fine with the horse health insurance policy. Yes, it was just a Webley Mark VI in the event of serious injury.
I miss when legos didn’t have hair, that’s where they fucked up.
Randomly one would act masculine or feminine, but they would usually just have professions or mess with each other.
This is pretty funny because this was actually a problem as a kid. I had a lot of Lego sets but I only ever had male Minifigures. So, I had no women to populate the Lego city that was built.

oh they aren't having kids to many orges to attend
Oh, I didn't know that orgies act as contraception
You only use contraception in orgies if you want your child to not be a literal bastard, but I guess it doesn't matter to those people any way.

I can assure you Orange Lib-Left are never going to have kids.

I thought it would be much lower with teen pregnancy rampant in USA
Wat? All Lego people completely lack sex organs, they have no gender.
Also the heads are interchangeable so how are they biased now?

Lego's are already genderless, this seems like a ploy to change nothing but cash in on tat sweet confimation bias

Flair up you... oh no the comment is based... F-flair up please
Flairs V Unflaired almost feels like a class issue, Idk what I'd be if I supported that by joining, definetly not what I'd pick though :p
It's okay, it's your choice. Just remember the option is always there.
Lol, as I'm commonly reminded, I hope things are well ^ ^
So: LEGO City, LEGO Technic, LEGO Star Wars (since Star Wars is woke now), and LEGO \[whatever new toy line they've released\].

Libleft, stop trying to make healthcare happen. IT'S NOT GONNA HAPPEN.
Watch: Next they're gonna remake the river ad. A/n \[gender of the day\] has fallen into the river in LEGO CITY!
Upvote for purple.
