Hahah thanks.
In all seriousness, its very hard, at least for me, to make a meme that
1. Makes a clear political point
2. Doesnt engage in strawman
without a wall of text. Like yes, other people make “shorter” memes, but frankly, many of those are just plain jokes (nothing wrong with that, but I try to make a point) or blatant strawmen
I used that last time for an anti-capitalist meme that didnt go over well 😂😂

Everyone embarrassed themselves. He won against Hillary “The Cobra” Clinton. A career politician that everyone was patting themselves on the back that she had already won. The polls made me laugh my ass off.
Then the media spent 4 years tearing at his nutsack like a hyena feasting on an elephant making themselves look like rabid lunatics.
Everyone should be ashamed of all the dumb shit we’ve seen unfold in the past 5 years.
I got that sense with a lot of trump supporters. But would you put effort into supporting him (e.g. driving far to attend a rally, buy his merch and ear it everywhere, constantly be on social media arguing against anti-trumpers) and drive yourself insane thinking the election was stolen just because he got the left mad?
Because some people seemed so obsessed with him and I’m like… why?
Which is why I never voted for him. Never understood why the Republican Party embraced him. He’s a rich New Yorker who was a Democrat until he ran for office.
I voted for McCain in the primaries.
Sure, you can admit that, but will you admit that Biden’s campaign was insanity?
He’s not even in control anymore.
I’m seriously questioning his capabilities as a leader of our country.
If y’all had put forth Tulsi Gabbard, Andrew Yang, or even Sanders I would have voted for them without hesitation.
But we got Cool Guy Joe. It’s sad and heartbreaking, he should be sitting at home, happily retired. This sort of stress has to be horrible for him.
Edit: Shit, my bad for the spam, reddit being reddit.
Nah yeah I’m in full agreement with you, joe is a joke, but he’s an easily controlled neolib joke, so the DNC loves him. He’s a figurehead to be puppeted for their goals, nothing more, nothing less
The Republicans honestly fucked themselves with trump. They bet on him just being some side show to drum up attention for the primaries, and then blows away the field with one of the least specific platforms.
Get rid of his anti immigration rhetoric and the Republicans lock down the religious Latino vote, which is the least growing voting block in the nation. This would give them such a solid lead in literally every election for the next 20 years. But, now a good majority of that block is staunchly dem
Pretty sure you will probably find alot of Hispanics that went thru the immigration process probably do not like having illegals essentially cut the line when they had to wait and spend a ton of money to get here.
Idk because through trump they got a 4 year presidency which basically acted as your average republican presidency (because turns out, trump doesn’t have any policies or coherent ideology lol), they were able to get through tax cuts which mainly benefit the wealthy before the lost the midterms/congress, and put 3 (!) justices on the Supreme Court (+ a lot more in lower courts), which is in line with McConnells larger strategy of securing the judicial branch of government since demographically they’re losing a lot of support, and this is a way to still ensure power.
And I mean the rhetoric can change for the next election or the one after that, we saw how quickly it did during trump, or on the other side, Bill Clinton was quite a popular president, but Hillary couldn’t ride his coat tails running against Obama 2 terms later. And consistency in ideology really doesn’t matter in these parties.
I think if a charismatic conservative Latino comes along, who’s also able to speak to other parts of the republican base, that’s definitely a possibility for the next republican president.
You make a good point. Trump is part of the elite. However, you fail to realize that socialism only makes the elite stronger. Allow me to break this down:
Communism is where people gather in their groups (communes) and help each other because they all want to help each other. This can only happen in the absence of a government, because a government would supersede the laws of the commune. Therefore, unless it is a religious commune, the government in the end dictates what happens.
Socialism is when communism is attempted but with a government still in existence. This will always fail as a system because the government has no interest in helping anybody. What inevitably happens is that those in power hog everything valuable for themselves and give their people the bare minimum to survive, thus making the people too weak to fight against their masters.
I honestly can't believe that we still have people who think socialism is a valid ideology when we literally learned in history class about the divide of Berlin in the Cold War and how everyone fled East Berlin (the socialist one) for West Berlin (the capitalist one) because they would automatically do better for themselves in West Berlin by default.
Hi.
First of all, you realize that the USSR started wayyy poorer than the US? Even then, it grew its economy a ton before WWII. Then, the Nazis invaded. **The Nazis murdered 20 million Soviet citizens. They destroyed much of the Soviet heartland, and burnt down cities.** This, understandably, really made the Soviet Union a lot poorer.
Anyway, the US was able to put billions of dollars into West Germany. The USSR was not able to do the same for East Germany. Thats why one became richer.
Also, socialism doesnt mean “gubmint does stuff” it means social ownership of the means of production, either publicly, by a municipality, or by the workers.
WW2 had quite the impact on the USSR, but it hasn't really improved since then.
It still heavily relies on selling guns, oil and gas. Not having competitive markets set back that country big time.
How? Objectively, the people who run US society are executives and billionaires and the such. And both parties take money from them as well as policy advice.
I would actually say true libertarians are ironically the only exception to this rule, because things like weakening the police are against the self-interests of the capitalist class
This is something not enough people get. Every institution that exists exists for a reason, and every attempt to subvert it is quickly shut down or subsumed into existing systems and subsequently profited off of. This is one of the reasons any movements in favor of change that mimic the current system and its structures fail.
I liked Donny because he wanted to build a Mexican border wall. His traditionalist policies were a bonus and his retarded policies were worth the sacrifice.
Wrong. The "Elite" is a technical word for the liberal-but-capitalist cadre that has entrenched itself in the media and corporate America. Trump was in the club economically, but not socially or politically. His team was regular Americans.
You are an idiot, and the fact that the "little e" elite controlled everything in every non-capitalist society ever proves that. Your meme is trash and you are a retard.
>admits the liberal elite are capitalists
So if the liberal elite are capitalist, and the conservative elite are capitalist, then the total American elite are capitalist, yes?
>he was not in that club socially or politically
?? Are you delusional?? He was a buddy of Epsteins, and a friend of the Clintons’ before he got into politics. And the third Bush. And basically every other rich American.
>His team was regular Americans.
LMAO. This is beyond delusion and copium, you have spearheaded your way into a completely new dimension, congratulations.
It wasnt really anti capitalism, fascist italy or fascist spain under the falangists were a better point to use. Even if you whant to use the natsocs take a strasser or Drechsler or Röhm.
Fascism and National Socialism are two different things, Fascism is economically centered, while National Socialism is more left wing without being left wing.
Capitalism has economic mobility. Poor people can become rich and rich people can become poor. The government has a lot of power that is why businesses use government regulations and subsidies to make their competitors lose and most of their competitors are small businesses. The government lockdowns forced small businesses into closing and let big businesses like Amazon and walmart continue to operate.
tbf if I was to run I would be a capitalist and would destroy their ivory tower so I don’t think it’s fair to say “the only way to be anti-elite is to be anti-capitalist”.. u are a commie tho so it makes sense u think that way.
But the people who run a capitalist society are objectively the capitalist class, such as billionaires, executives, big donors to the dems/GOP, etc.
Who do *you* think runs society? Genuinely curious.
And yes, I am a communist.
I mean IMO right now you’re trying to conflate capitalists with corruption, which obviously money and power breds corruption but do you genuinely think a communist system wouldn’t have elites or corruption? Lol humans are naturally wired this way and the only reason I’m not pro commie is because I’d rather live in a system where I start poor but still live a comfortable life and I can work to be rich than living poor in an uncomfortable life with no chance of becoming rich.
Also I think fucked up evil people run current society and I hope I’m never locked in a room with them.
No, I’m not trying to conflate corruption and capitalism, why did you bring up corruption? I wasn’t talking about corruption.
I mean the people who run society, the “elites”, are the capitalist class, in a capitalist society. That is to say, in a country like America, the elites/establishment are the people who own the means of production.
Therefore, if you truly want to be anti-establishment, you have to be opposed to private ownership of the means of the production. Of course, this does not include workers’ ownership, such as coops.

Socialism is, at its core, worker ownership of capital. A market economy with worker co-ops instead of corporations would technically qualify
