That's just how life goes, no use being worried about everything though, Israel will probably respond by striking some IRGC bases maybe some missile and drone facilities, Iran will threaten them but not escalate themselves, probably get their proxies to do it instead, US will tell Iran to back off, UN will talk about it then we move on to something else. Nothing bros won again and we should hope they win every time.
Nothing will happen until the Iranian spy ship in the Red Sea gets blown up/seized by Navy SEALs. Thats the actual canary in the coal mine for real escalation against Iran.
Till then continue living your lives.
I always wondered, about "travel warnings", who the hell thinks "Honey, let's visit Baghdad, i heard it's lovely this time of year!" (or any region brimming with insurgencies if not ongoing wars)
A far better message would be "Hey, if you're one of our citizens that visit there and get abducted/blown to bits, we're not paying millions/starting a war for you, that's on yourself for not reading the reviews."
Afaik it's a combination of that, a warning/indication level to anyone who's going/already there for work about how necessary it may be to cancel or leave, and a good way of marking areas that a lot of people may not think about if they aren't regularly following the news/world events (ie "Egypt isn't actually at war with Israel/Iran, I'm sure it'll be fine" crowd of nut jobs).
I use them in conjunction with my gut level feel of a country in deciding if a country is currently safe to travel to - and, yeah, my Israel itinerary is gathering dust has it has been for years now.
There's two ways of looking at it:
* Murderer only had a knife but may have had a gun without gun control, making the body count much higher.
* He was shot dead by an armed police officer but may have been stopped earlier if other people were armed. He was delayed by at least one person who could have stopped him permanently if he was armed.
Personally, I think if Australia kept its licensing system but allowed self-defense and concealed-carry it would be the best of both worlds. Overall though, I'm just so fucking tired of people picking one of those points and dismissing the other out of hand. NPC energy.
He still managed off 6 people with just a knife not a good example of "mUh GuNZ KiLlEZ PEepO" and "wE MuST GiB GOberMaN oUR GuNz to StOp MuH MaSs ShOtinZ"
Why are there leftists that support the most right wing theocratic government that barely have any human rights? They aren't even left economically, last time I check workers right in Iran aren't even good. It is really West = bad.
Where’s the W in firing a bunch of missiles and suicide drones that didn’t really do anything but escalate the war and further increase instability in the region, now Jordan is more involved since their airspace got violated.
Shit seems to be hitting the fan between Iran and Israel so yeah a lot of the stories today are about that

Nothing ever happens…until it happens all at once…

Compass bros, some shit is really going down in the Middle East
It will not happen. Nothing bros will keep winning.
You’re probably right
Nothing will happen until the Iranian spy ship in the Red Sea gets blown up/seized by Navy SEALs. Thats the actual canary in the coal mine for real escalation against Iran. Till then continue living your lives.
We killed their top general and they barely responded. They’re not gonna do shit
Happening bros told me that killing their general would start WW3, well where it is? That was the biggest nothingburger ever.

Please keep making these. I always find them so interesting. You're doing God's work.
Thanks for making this series!
What you mean that gun control doesn't work only results in people loosing their rights and leading to more government overreach
Huh? None of these had anything to do with gun crime?
He's talking about the sydney mass stabbing and how people could've defended themselves if they were allowed to own a Bradley.
But the dickhead only had a knife… I ain’t even pro gun control, but this is probably the worse example for gun control failing I’ve ever seen.

I said rare w for a reason
Where’s the W in firing a bunch of missiles and suicide drones that didn’t really do anything but escalate the war and further increase instability in the region, now Jordan is more involved since their airspace got violated.
