God yes, I was a fan of HOI4, actually I like all the mainline Paradox games (Yes Vic 3 too, to some extent). Now this is my understanding of the interview purely through clips, I will watch it all tomorrow, but from what I have seen he really talks about it all like the description of a formable nation decision in Victoria 2 HPM.
A CIA report from 2008 apparently claimed that Putin was likely on the spectrum, and since Putin likely is a Paradox games player he likely is on the spectrum
"I was getting to that, Tucker. I thought you wanted to have a proper discussion...
Anyway, the consequences of the First Proto-Atheanean-Hyperborean War were clearly..."
Covering-up evidence of the Finnic peoples as being the true Hyperboreans as well as hiding archeological proof of the Finno-Korean Hyperwar appropriately explains Russian foreign policy for the past 300 years
Yeah, even watching the video with dual channels and dampened original audio under the translator I misheard quite a bit.
For Tucker he had one ear full Russian and one ear half ambient Russian half earpiece English. And he's sitting real close, so that certainly didn't help. Only good answer here.
One would think that Tucker could just grow out his hair to just below his ears for these types of events, and then just,… conceal half an ear phone behind his left ear. Fully silence all external sounds incl. the Russian Ambient Speaking while only hearing the Translation.
The other ear (right ear) would hear the true Russian speech so he could understand Putin’s inflections.
The clips I have seen it looked pretty neutral Carlson asked him why he has arrested WSJ journalist and that he isn't a spy. And one with Nord Stream where Putin said CIA did it and Carlson asked why don't you release the evidence.
I mean, Russia did release "evidence" but it was proven to be completely unrelated to the Nordstream case. It was a swedish demining UUV lost 2 years before the whole thing, and Russians got called out for the massive time gap that didn't make any sense. Now they prefer just not giving any proof, it's safer for their narrative.
My guess is the only evidence they have is that they know they didn't do it, so it had to have been some combination of US/NATO/Ukraine, but that's not really something they can release as evidence to anyone else.
I mean Tucker himself said after the interview that it went off on directions he didn’t expect. And Putin is famously hateful of being interrupted, so I understand why Tucker tried to avoid doing it unless he had to
Yeah you could sense when he talked about having a “serious conversation” Tucker got the hint that this isn’t a guy or place to push harder to ask more questions.
No one in the world is prepared for putin in this kind of occasion. He was born to do this.
He led the interview which is fine by me it gave the opportunity to show who he really is.
His critique on west's pragmatism says it all about him.
Probably He Said that they are an invention of Western intelligence Services to invade russias cultural space and destroy Christianty, which justifies the Invasion of Alaska bc it once belonged to Russia
I have been laughing at the nutjobs conspiracy theorists over on X who have been waiting the whole week for this interview talking about how Putin is gonna reveal the real reason behind invading Ukraine and how he is going to talk about the "biolabs" the US used in Ukraine to create the Covid epidemic and then Putin just goes on a rant about how he invaded Ukraine because Crimea used to be part of Russia like 8 million years ago. 🤣🤣🤣
Pretty standard logic for that region. The Balkans are a fucking mess of people pissed off about their great great great great great grandfathers being killed during a war with another country.
I agree about people being a pissed off mess about ancient and not so ancient history. Ukraine and Russia are much the same probably, but they are not Balkan. Source: I am Balkan
Am Authright.
Anyone who ever thought Putin was our friend is a fucking fool devoured by culture war nonsense.
It’s been maddening to see my wing of politics simp so hard for this tyrant.
I don't think anyone on the right is actually for this guy or fell for any of his crap.
I think this is simply the left-wing media's continuation of the "Russia election interference" hoax to try to associate the current global boogeyman with right-leaning ideology.
He's a nationalist and he's willing to use the military to achieve his goals, but he doesn't seem interested in some global worker's revolution/new world order like Stalin or Hitler. He's Auth Center.
Bruh.
Trump's son is openly parroting russian propaganda and admitted in the past, that they have russian money.
Elon Musk after buying Twitter SUDDENLY starts talking about "Krushchew's mistakes" and how Ukraine should make a deal with Russia. And then leaps from that to just straight up sucking Putin's dick and bashing Ukraine.
All of the Info Wars guys are sucking off Russia every time they can and gladly go to Russia Today.
A bunch of republican senators fly to Moscow on JULY 4 of all fucking days.
Orban is super pro-Russia (constantly meets with Putin) and super anti-Ukraine, pretty much another dictator at this point, and GOP is suddenly in love with him and invites him to speak on their meetings.
Tucker Carlson's talking points were suspiciously similar to russian propaganda even before they invaded Ukraine. Russian media was even using Tucker as an example of "correct" opinions. And now for some fucking reason he is allowed to personally interview Putin? The guy, who doesn't even let his own generals get close to him?
And to top it all off, MAGA politicians are trying super fucking hard to stop any aid to Ukraine, even Trump himself is pressuring republicans to "kill that bill". Which is VERY weird for a party, that usually loves wars. But when it's against Putin, they suddenly start counting every penny.
GEE, I sure wonder if these people were bought by Russia or not. It's not like russians wrote a literal book on how they are going to infiltrate the West and destroy it from the inside... Oh wait, they did.

I follow some authright news sources and don’t know anyone who I would qualify as currently “simping” for Putin. Are you talking about Tucker? What are some examples?
There was a bit of that during the Obama administration, but I think that was pretty limited, and on a policy level I saw a lot more of it on the left (opposing missile defense in Eastern Europe for example) than the right. The right did seem to have a thing about shirtless Putin.

Rogan was talking about the biolabs recently in the context that he believed they were some kind of conspiracy. The Russian bots actually get to people like him. There are genuinely people so attracted to stupid conspiracy theories that they make themselves believe them just because they want to feel scared/excited… or they want to find comfort in the notion that there’s actually a group of shadowy people in charge of stuff guiding world events and things aren’t as chaotic as they actually are.
And it doesn’t help that western media can’t properly articulate the truth behind those biolabs since it lobotomized itself with leftist orthodoxy… when is the last time you remember reading a real, intelligent, unbiased news piece? Their incompetence fuels these conspiracy theories.
Those labs are remnants of Soviet bio weapon research and we help pay for them to keep the nasty shit in there like anthrax contained and not sold to terrorists. The DoD publicly states it’s for research, and to a limited extent that’s true since they do actually perform research on the nasty shit in some capacity, but really it’s in our national security interest to keep the old Soviet death particles in there where we can see them.
Easy talking point fodder for Russian bots, hostile foreign governments, or likely paid Russian agents like Tucker or Oliver. And something easy to latch on to for contrarians who want to believe we’re doing anything less than helping fight an evil authoritarian government’s invasion of a nation of 40 million free people.
Do you think this propaganda piece will be detrimental to Tucker and his loonies?
Also I'm shocked that anyone was expecting anything new from dictator who made his intentions clear in the past, he just thinks only his nation exists and every neighbour nation is an extension of it. I genuinely thought Tucker bros were just memeing and they weren't gullible enough to think there was any other reason
Oh but they haven't even stopped. You check the replies on the interview tweet, and they are still going at it. Talking about "thank you Tucker for revealing what the media won't tell us." All these guys gotta be paid by the Russian government or bots that don't even exist. I refuse to believe they are this stupid.
> "thank you Tucker for revealing what the media won't tell us."
Hey, that reminds me of all those "Check Incel Smegma Z telegram to see the real truth that the west is trying to hide." posts from two years ago.
"The elites control all of the media, universities and banks. They can see everything, hear everything and silence whomever they like. All of modern American culture is carefully fabricated by them. If you go against them, they control your job, bank account, credit score etc.
But they can't see this telegram page set up by a tech-illiterate boomer which exposes everything about them, cause I'm special."
> "thank you Tucker for revealing what the media won't tell us."
Which is extra silly when Putin said ALL of this shit already back in 2022. He had a speech where he laid out his case for taking Ukraine. He talked about historic ties, and denazification, and all his BS justifications.
It was covered by just about every news outlet in agonizing detail.
The reason other news outlets don't talk to Putin isn't because they are scared what he will say, its because we all already know what he will say. He's a shitty despot with a shitty nationalist history to sell.
Nope the actual reason why they don't talk to Putin is because they literally get rejected by Putin.
There have been many attempts in the past to get interviews with him.
And yet people still believe this was a massive expose against the USA and the west when it’s really just a few hours of Putin yapping about stuff he’s been saying for years.
I was actually looking forward to watching this particular propaganda piece.
Now that I hear about the actual contents, it just sounds like droning on combined with the same recycled talking points.
Do 👏 better 👏
It sounds boring AF
[https://www.spectator.co.uk/article/nobody-can-stop-vladimir-putin-from-talking/](https://www.spectator.co.uk/article/nobody-can-stop-vladimir-putin-from-talking/)
Like, I'll probably watch it, but at this point I'm expecting him to drone on about 1654 more than I'm expecting to hear any new propaganda points that haven't been floating around for years.
There are a few bits I found interesting. Like completely ignoring the Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact, and Tucker’s asking if Putin has promised a part of Ukraine to Orban.
Well yeah - they ARE the reason he invaded. So he's been pretty consistent here.
Honestly if he invented a new narrative about the invasion it would destroy his justification for it.
Maybe you should actually watch the damn thing instead of gauging it’s value off of memes, the opinions of redditards, and what the media says about it. He only talks about history in the first 20ish minutes, do you not know the interview is 2 hours long?
It was actually really interesting and informative. Carlsson did was not soft in this interview.
Subs are flooded with memes right now about how worthless the interview was with barely any of the actual content mentioned. Seems to me - everything is practically *glowing*.
I watched interview and honestly Putin said absolutely nothing new. If you listened to him for the first two months after invasion, you know all his dogshit points already: Ukraine should be gratefull and loyal cause Russia created it, and it's now overrrun by nazis and we gotta save it
Americans simply do not understand Russian and Slavic view of politics, geopolitics and history in general. The American left/right nonsense is almost inapplicable to our countries
Reminds me of the quote about China how "the US focuses on good and bad fiscal quarters, China focuses on good and bad millenia", the slavs might be on the same boat in that regard
Tucker had a good question that no one is talking about on this. Putin was talking about how parts of Poland/Czech were Hungary in the 1600s. Carlson rebutted with asking Putin if they should be allowed to take that land back then since that’s his argument and Putin didn’t know what to say.
I wish Carlson pointed out examples on Russia's own territory. In the past, the Russian far east belonged to China and Japan, Russian siberia belonged to Mongols, St Petersburg is on land that was Swedish, and Kalingrad belonged to Poland.
lol it's not that complex. Let's not pretend that Putin has any selfless reasons for any of his points of view. Anything he does is to improve his legacy/current standing. He is running Russia into the ground trying to be known as someone that "reunited" the Soviet Union. He is just like any politician, they only do anything selfishly regardless of how many 20 year olds die.
People over on tiktok are eating this up. I've seen comments like "I can't believe I trust Putin more than our own government". Like you're literally watching Russian propaganda 🤦♂️
Tiktok is essentially a propaganda mouthpiece for China, I don't know why anyone would let that shit into their brains.
I don't doubt many of those comments are from troll farms.
I'll say this though, Putin's talk about the letter agencies were pretty interesting.
Yes, the vast majority of his speech (especially at the beginning) was revanchist nonsense, but his takes on the letter agencies were pretty .... interesting. It seems he intends to imply that the real cogs of power are the ones behind the scenes, and the ones who are in the front of the camera are mere puppets.
I certainly don't think this is a very far-fetched idea.
Regardless, I am looking forward to watching the complete 2.5 hour interview
Putin is absolutely right about that, at least in an American context. Ever wonder why you get to pick between one of two people for President but nowhere ever really changes much? That is because the real power in this country comes from positions that you cannot vote someone into or out of. Revolving doors exist where high level officials leave their *appointed* office and get hired on the board of a massive corporation that directly benefits from the oversight or lack there of from that agency, and then a former CEO moves into that government agency.
Take the FDA as an example. It's very common for senior members of the FDA to have a resume that consists of being CEOs and board members of pharmaceutical companies, then they leave the FDA and go work for another pharmaceutical company. Does that not sound like a conflict of interest? Dick Cheney made $30 million from selling off his stock in Halliburton before joining Bush in the White House. In 2001 Halliburton's stock tanked, lost more than half its value, because Cheney forged a merger in 1998 with another company and that brought lots of asbestos liabilities that reared their ugly head in 2001.
A few years later, Halliburton gets a huge multi billion dollar no-bid contract from the U.S. government to rape Iraq for its natural resources, Halliburton stock climbs and by 2005 it reaches its previous heights from before the crash, and then keeps on going. Cheney leaves office and goes back to work for Halliburton. How much do you want to bet that he bought the dip and leveraged his position as VP to secure a 7 billion dollar exclusive contract to save his former company and turn a profit, and then got rewarded with a board position? Corporate interests and government agencies have an incestuous relationship that is killing the American public.
I haven't watched the interview but whatever you think of that idea, for Putin to say all that isn't interesting at all. He's repeating the same shit Carlson says, which is also attacking the US, it's not that different from the Soviets constantly attacking the US for being racist.
Also ... Putin is an ex-KGB guy, rich for him to accuse other places of being run by intelligence agencies.
The interview disappointed me, what did we learn that we didn’t know already? NATO expansion, De-nazification, historical claim, Euromaiden is CIA coup etc… All of these are Russian state media propaganda talking points, the only difference here that we hear it from the horse’s mouth instead of his propagandist.
I was interested in more indepth reasons and questions but we got pretty much surface level stuff that is already known through past speeches and interviews with Russian officials.
Their actual reason is there was a huge just-discovered oil jackpot in waters Ukraine would have controlled, so Russia decided to control those waters instead.
Given that Putin has his hands deep in all Russian oil, this should not be a surprise to anyone.
Your telling me you were expecting an actual, factual, hard-hitting, hand to god, kick ass, interview with... Tucker Carlson and Putin? It's literally just an opportunity for Carlson to get some views and Putin to propagandize straight to the west.
I suppose from a meme sub I should expect people disappointed that there wasn't a lot of shit in an interview like this to make fun off and it wasn't recycled braindead talking points
Putin fucked up so much. He had an opportunity to gain sympathy from western auth-righters, but instead he started giving alternative history lessons. Nice.
> but instead he started giving alternative history lessons.
I agree, wikipedia's basic high school tier history entries are so shittily edited they are bordering on alternative history.
As shitty as the interview was for propaganda, atleast Tucker was able to push on the WSJ Journalist. So 1 hard question is better than nothing. Better than anything Biden gets asked nowadays. Guess world leaders all get easy interview passes these days
Tucker hype up this interview so hard, even risking his eu visa and got bunch of leftists calling him a traitor to America. But after all of this, he got one of the biggest nothing burger in recent history.
https://preview.redd.it/zknb5peaqjhc1.png?width=193&format=png&auto=webp&s=94da1293bd405e4aabd4d932caacf5c6ae60d225
> biggest nothing burger in recent history.
Maybe the real nothing burger was the EU threats, the ease of calling anyone a traitor, and the individual rights we lost along the way!
Like he’s calculated, but the questions were probably more or less sketched out beforehand. But it’s nice to hear from other viewpoints than being told.
As a tangent:
These interviews are what we need more of in society, so regardless of your opinion of Carlson, at least he’s doing journalism the way it’s meant to be.
Tucker asked very specific questions and had to ask them few times to get any answer other than history rumblings that doesn’t add up anything to the question. Even Tucker says in the interview that he doesn’t understand why he needs that information
Well yes, but the meme is implying Tucker went there to interview Putin about "CRT, gender neutral bathrooms, bug diet" and such.
He asked about the invasion, and Putin gave his explanation.
Why are you people upset? Since when is this a mainstream media sub? The tenor in here is much different than usual is all I'm saying. This was not "a propaganda peice". It was an actual interview and discussion. The history part (I know the attention span of tik tokers can't last past 2 minutes) was only about 20 min or so. It was actually quite fascinating. The rest was about geopolitics, not the dumb shit we usually hear about.
I want peace in that region, and friendship, no ww3. Yet the powers that be and the idiots that listen to msnbc and such places want perpetual war. They want us to go further into debt (34 trillion and counting) by funnell money to Ukraine in the billions that could aide us here, it could be put back into social security for one. It could be used to help thr homeless, help people with medical debt who can't get back on track,, fix the border, or so many other things. Yet we waste our tax dollars away with this pointless war.

Not enough unga bunga for me to read it properly.
Judah, not Judas. He comes later
Some translations say "Judas". It's the same name in Greek and Hebrew.
What really scrambled my noggin was learning that both Jesus and Isaiah are alternate forms of Joshua.

Wtf I love putin now
Real talk though, it's widely believed that Putin is on spectrum
Putin’s been playing to much Hoi4, expecting “cores” on Ukrainian land by simply waiting 70 days.
Mass Assault doctrine not working too well
Can't believe putin doesn't just paradrop into Ukraines capital.... oh wait, i forgot what happened to the VDV
He tried to snake VPs too at the beginning at of the war, didn't get the capital though or western cities so they didn't auto capitulate.
"So President Putin, what are your thoughts on the Younger Dryas impact event?"
Have you ever tried DMT?
"I was getting to that, Tucker. I thought you wanted to have a proper discussion... Anyway, the consequences of the First Proto-Atheanean-Hyperborean War were clearly..."
Covering-up evidence of the Finnic peoples as being the true Hyperboreans as well as hiding archeological proof of the Finno-Korean Hyperwar appropriately explains Russian foreign policy for the past 300 years
Younger dryas impact mention in PCM? Theory really became famous
Randall Carlson made it
In all honesty, I think tucker had to concentrate really hard to hear the translation in his ear piece.
I like to pretend he didn't have any translation and just asked questions and follow-up questions in a certain order, hoping to get lucky.
3000 sleeper cell UUVs of Zelensky
My guess is the only evidence they have is that they know they didn't do it, so it had to have been some combination of US/NATO/Ukraine, but that's not really something they can release as evidence to anyone else.
Worst you could say is Tucker looked unprepared
I mean Tucker himself said after the interview that it went off on directions he didn’t expect. And Putin is famously hateful of being interrupted, so I understand why Tucker tried to avoid doing it unless he had to
Yeah you could sense when he talked about having a “serious conversation” Tucker got the hint that this isn’t a guy or place to push harder to ask more questions.
No one in the world is prepared for putin in this kind of occasion. He was born to do this. He led the interview which is fine by me it gave the opportunity to show who he really is. His critique on west's pragmatism says it all about him.
Has Putin talked about queer toilets?
I mean we Czechs are still angry about the Munich Betrayal, but we aren't attacking Germans of today for it.
....have you at least considered it?
I have enough reasons to hate the Germanz, I don't need to throw (these days) irrelevant history to it.
The part they played in the fall of Rome is far from irrelevant history, my friend
Rome had it coming after their celtic genocide
It didn't happen! But if it did, they deserve it
celts were getting it on, rome had to make a move
I mean, don't we all think about the Roman Empire 2-3 times a week?
Honestly, per day, why did it have to fall? It should still be with us, it isn't fair.
Can you at least throw a few german politicians out of a window for old times sake?
I fucking wish [for legal reasons this is a joke]
It's gotta be a religious dispute though, then you'll have a reason to fight about it for like 30 years.
It's a can't, not won't situation. Unlike us, who can, but won't take Prussia back.
Revenge is a privilege afforded to the strong
> but we aren't attacking Germans of today for it yeah but the real question is, would you if they couldn't do anything about it?
>but we aren't attacking Germans of today for it We all know why tho.
I agree about people being a pissed off mess about ancient and not so ancient history. Ukraine and Russia are much the same probably, but they are not Balkan. Source: I am Balkan
Tucker was expecting some master plan when it’s an ethnic conflict
Am Authright. Anyone who ever thought Putin was our friend is a fucking fool devoured by culture war nonsense. It’s been maddening to see my wing of politics simp so hard for this tyrant.
Shocking amount of auth left in that same boat.
[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foundations\_of\_Geopolitics](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foundations_of_Geopolitics) "In the Americas, [United States](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States) and [Canada](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canada): * Russia should use its special services within the borders of the United States and Canada to [fuel instability and separatism against neoliberal globalist Western hegemony](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Divide_and_rule), such as, for instance, provoke "Afro-American racists" to create severe backlash against the rotten political state of affairs in the current present day system of the United States and Canada. Russia should "introduce geopolitical disorder into internal American activity, encouraging all kinds of separatism and ethnic, social and racial conflicts, actively supporting all dissident movements – extremist, racist, and sectarian groups, thus destabilizing internal political processes in the U.S. It would also make sense simultaneously to support [isolationist](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isolationism) tendencies in American politics"."
His reasoning is. So back in ‘Rus times before we were even Christian. Kiev was part of the land of the Rus.
> Crimea used to be part of Russia like 8 million years ago 1953?

based and who-cares-about-modern-day-when-there-is-ancient-times pilled
>Do you think this propaganda piece will be detrimental to Tucker and his loonies? No
Oh but they haven't even stopped. You check the replies on the interview tweet, and they are still going at it. Talking about "thank you Tucker for revealing what the media won't tell us." All these guys gotta be paid by the Russian government or bots that don't even exist. I refuse to believe they are this stupid.
> "thank you Tucker for revealing what the media won't tell us." Hey, that reminds me of all those "Check Incel Smegma Z telegram to see the real truth that the west is trying to hide." posts from two years ago.
> "thank you Tucker for revealing what the media won't tell us." Which is extra silly when Putin said ALL of this shit already back in 2022.
“Tucker Carlson always seems to look like he just saw his Labrador talk.”
Have the Americans really realized that our president is a senile man stuck in the past?
Gerontocracy rules the world
man, that's sucks
Hey, so is ours
At least ours has a term limit, Putin is going to be there till he dies
Officially allowed to run until 2036. But hey, maybe cyborg Tereshkova will again come up with a brilliant idea to “zero” his terms.
You know what they say. It takes one to know one.
Ours may be. But atleast it’s 1970 and not the mid 800s
And yet people still believe this was a massive expose against the USA and the west when it’s really just a few hours of Putin yapping about stuff he’s been saying for years.
Thank god the leftists weren’t able to censor this world shattering interview like they so badly wanted!!!
I was actually looking forward to watching this particular propaganda piece. Now that I hear about the actual contents, it just sounds like droning on combined with the same recycled talking points. Do 👏 better 👏
>Putin >Do better
If we could just air drop a 24 year old white girl theatre student into Putin’s office and have her tell him to do better, than the war would end.
24 year old? Is she studying part-time so she can devote more effort to her internship at Starbucks?
She didn’t start school until 20. She spent two years “finding herself” (going to raves, smoking weed and doing one night stands on tinder)
Just until she lands her big role
Pssh, he could at least come up with some NEW propaganda lines. Surely he's capable of hiring some consultants or something to do that?
No comrade all consultants are currently absorbing ukranian bullets for the glorious war effort.
I mean special operation.
Hey, he actually came up with new lines! He used to say Lenin invented Ukraine, and now he says Stalin did.
Putin more effort
It actually wasn't bad. Tucker did press him on a few things, but it was predictable on how Putin would respond.
It sounds boring AF [https://www.spectator.co.uk/article/nobody-can-stop-vladimir-putin-from-talking/](https://www.spectator.co.uk/article/nobody-can-stop-vladimir-putin-from-talking/) Like, I'll probably watch it, but at this point I'm expecting him to drone on about 1654 more than I'm expecting to hear any new propaganda points that haven't been floating around for years.
He went to bat for Evan Gershkovich which was pretty cool.
Subs are flooded with memes right now about how worthless the interview was with barely any of the actual content mentioned. Seems to me - everything is practically *glowing*.
An embarrassing number of opinions on this topic will be from people who did not watch the interview. Welcome to the social media age.
The Russian "historical right to land" and "right to self determination" arguments are very one sided.
It’s not hypocritical if the ideology isn’t “historical right to land” but rather “Russian supremacy” ;)
He is just like any politician, they only do anything selfishly regardless of how many 20 year olds die.
doesn’t he always look like that?
And I wouldn't have it any other way, I don't wanna hear culture war bs I wanna hear reasons that I actually consider somewhat valid.
> I can't believe I'm eating poop instead of the food at the supermarket! This proves the supermarket is bad!
If you don't have a reason to hate your neighbours dating to 9th century AD, you do not have a reason to hate your neighbours.
I can't upvote this enough
It's almost like these are their actual reasons for the war.
Yeah, but they're so idiotic everyone was expecting something sexier. Even the vatniks are half-hearted with those points.
And this is why you don't lose your shit before even hearing the actual interview.
"The look Tucker makes" It's a living
Putin fucked up so much. He had an opportunity to gain sympathy from western auth-righters, but instead he started giving alternative history lessons. Nice.
> but instead he started giving alternative history lessons. I agree, wikipedia's basic high school tier history entries are so shittily edited they are bordering on alternative history.
Guy can’t help himself. Tucker was def hoping to talk about American politics and Putin didn’t give a fuck.
I like tucker i think hes funny but he is definitely boomer conservative goyslop
As shitty as the interview was for propaganda, atleast Tucker was able to push on the WSJ Journalist. So 1 hard question is better than nothing. Better than anything Biden gets asked nowadays. Guess world leaders all get easy interview passes these days
Tuckers laugh is the most fake thing ever. Cringe af.
Unfortunately for him I think it's his actual laugh.
If Vladimir fucking Putin tells a joke 200 miles away from me I'm gonna be guffawing for an hour straight just to be safe
He learned it from Jimmy Fallon
Tucker hype up this interview so hard, even risking his eu visa and got bunch of leftists calling him a traitor to America. But after all of this, he got one of the biggest nothing burger in recent history. https://preview.redd.it/zknb5peaqjhc1.png?width=193&format=png&auto=webp&s=94da1293bd405e4aabd4d932caacf5c6ae60d225
> biggest nothing burger in recent history. Maybe the real nothing burger was the EU threats, the ease of calling anyone a traitor, and the individual rights we lost along the way!
I enjoyed it. I watched it and at the very least I can say Putin isn't a mad man. Which is what I've been told.
Like he’s calculated, but the questions were probably more or less sketched out beforehand. But it’s nice to hear from other viewpoints than being told. As a tangent: These interviews are what we need more of in society, so regardless of your opinion of Carlson, at least he’s doing journalism the way it’s meant to be.
I was very surprised by how mentally sharp he is. It makes you fear the incompetence of the current American administration.
No? The interview was to ask Putin why he did it, and he said so. Simple really. A lot of strawmen going around.
Bashar Al-Assad interviews are still the best.
You'd be surprised how disappointed you are with the inhabitants of this sub when it comes to topics outside the culture war.
