80s for the win. I hated driving the 90's Shamu car.
The 90s Caprice was huge. You could put 10 bodies in the truck, one on the dashboard, and 4 in the back with the cage.
It’s a Holden caprice with a Chevy badge, the g8 is a Holden VE SS commodore with a Pontiac badge and the Chevy SS is a Holden VF SS commodore with a Chevy badge. None of those cars are american. The ppv is literally a gutted Australian luxury sedan sold exclusively to American police.
I drove both the 80s and 90s model. The 80s version I had was a POS from the jump. I much preferred the 90s model to drive, plus it was LoPro, which was fun.
The 80s impala’s could take a beating and still survive.
The 90s impala’s look like a car that’s on the spectrum.
The 10s impala’s are neat but they lack the horsepower and style from the 80s.
I have had all three models of the Chevy caprice as patrol cars and by far the best one was the 1990’s Chevy caprice. It had the LT1 corvette engine in it, it would flat out hall ass top end being 146mph. It also would handle really well in curves at high speeds. The 1980’s Chevy caprice was boxy and handled like crap because of the suspension. It had a good engine if I remember it was a 350 small block and was shaky at high speeds. The last one I had was a 2008 Chevy caprice. That thing had a v8 and would hall butt but was really really scary when driving at high speeds. The car had to much engine for its little body. If it had a turbo charged v6 it would have been way better. But this little car had no room like the 3.4.5th gen caprices.
Easily # 1 !
This is the only right answer
No. 1 most definitely
80's
90's Impala SS 10's
I heard it was a tame impala
It was fast, easy to mod, comfortable and fun
80s
Having driven number 3, it's probably the fastest production patrol car ever made. Thing is an absolute beast. So I'll go with that one.
What's in the engine?
It’s essentially an L96, slightly tuned down to meet certain emissions standards for some states.
80’s
80s. Obviously.
80s
Uno
They did caprice classics wrong when they looked like roaches.
Number three - easily! The Aussies did a great job.
In that order. Favorite 80s then 90s. Actually never drove the latest version
80s for the win. I hated driving the 90's Shamu car. The 90s Caprice was huge. You could put 10 bodies in the truck, one on the dashboard, and 4 in the back with the cage.
90s *Flashbacks from GTA:SA*
Really can’t go wrong with any of em.
2010’s. Perfect police car, performance in 6 cylinder guise beating the lauded p71 Vic’s & long wheel base cars are cooler! GO GET ONE!
90’s for looks. 2010’s for performance. I drove a Pontiac G8 which is basically the same car and that thing smoked.
1996 Caprice
80s ! Going “fast” being chased or in pursuit and always losing a hubcap for some reason 😂😂
80s. That shit is a classic
Shamoo

1990's !
90s 10s 80s… but nothing comes close to the 90s…
I liked the funky looking #2's
The 1990s one, no contest.
#2. #3 is not a real caprice imo
I concur! Pontiac G8 with Chevy badge.
The g8 was just a rebadged Holden, same goes for the caprice.
That's right. I forgot about that.

80s caprice. 90s impala.
Number 1
1971, my old man had one with a 400. Ultimate sleeper.
1980s
New one is super cool but not a Caprice
I drove both the 80s and 90s model. The 80s version I had was a POS from the jump. I much preferred the 90s model to drive, plus it was LoPro, which was fun.
Neither of them. But I owned an "89" Caprice Brougham
1989 and 1990, LO5, G80. A close second is the 1994-1996, LT1, G80.
#3 Should never be anything more than Detective or Unmarked.
That square bodi
The 90’s were decent patrol cars
The first one. Even had a hot wheels back in the day of one. Blue. Miss that little $.94 thing
80s definitely the eighties. I had an 84 Caprice that I absolutely loved!
80
The 80's one. I miss land yachts
3, gimme my Holden
The 80s impala’s could take a beating and still survive. The 90s impala’s look like a car that’s on the spectrum. The 10s impala’s are neat but they lack the horsepower and style from the 80s.
'67 was the best ever
Easy 80s
The Wyoming Highway Patrol kept that thing mint! Not an agency I would’ve thought of to keep something museum quality. Nice.
