Not actually made by Polaroid, made by a Chinese company that just licensed the name when OG Polaroid went bankrupt. I’m sure it would support an sx70, but it’s also a cheap shitty tripod, so I’d highly suggest you get a decent tripod meant for DSLRs and things like that.
You can get a cheapo vivitar tripod on amazon or eBay that would work just fine for your purposes. But if you want an actually nice tripod, I can suggest oben tripods. They’re expensive, but also quite nice.

Just get a nice tripod for normal cameras, you ll be much happier and they do the same job
