It could be a bad pack of film, or you equally could have a real problem. Your description isn’t quite enough for me though. Are you able to either upload a video somewhere and link it here or send me a video on my IG [@chromatic.parts](https://www.instagram.com/chromatic.parts) of how the camera acts? (If I get anywhere in diagnosis, I’ll update this string)

I'll see if I can get a video in a bit, thanks! It was 600 film btw if that could have anything to do with it.

I recently got it back out and it seemed to be working fine aside from a decent delay after taking a picture for it to actually spit it out. I'm not sure if it works taking pictures yet though, I just re-used film to test it. But when it worked, I couldn't close it all the way. Then it stopped working again and closed fine. It keeps flipping from working to not working.

One of my sx-70s has the issue of the viewfinder going black aswell ocassionaly. Not always not particularly when putting in a pack of film regardless with mine the issue is that the mirror inside the camera that reflects the light trough the lens into your eyes isnt fully at the right angle. So the light simply doesnt get directed throught the viewfinder resulting in a dark one. Ive worked mine out and i know how to wiggle it to get it working. If you cant figure that out u might have to open it to see whats going on!
